An art Gallery at Disney? You don’t say! I know a few of the Disney Artists, but the name on the sign wasn’t one I knew, and that made me come in. What stopped me was that he drew a LOT of the Haunted Mansion, which is my favorite subject. His work was incredible and Yes, I bought a small print, signed by the artist. It’s gorgeous. The shop was having difficulties, as one computer register was down, but the girls behind the register were polite and doing their best to keep people calm. There really was nothing they could do, and I commend them both for being professional. The guests behind me, not so much, Calm your horses and remember you’re on vacation. Sheesh.

The smaller of the two Art of Disney stores, I like it since it is not as crowded, and the staff has more time to engage in educating customers about each art piece that you may be interested in. I do not buy my giclee art here since there are no kiosks here to order them with. Instead, I purchase my Precious Moment figurines here. Be sure to visit this store before the Illuminations: Reflections of Earth show. While Mouse Gear stays open after the show, this store does not on most occasions. Anything you purchase can be picked up at the gate, so long as you purchase it 5 hours before the park closing time. Some of the higher end items can be shipped, but you do pay the shipping. For those of you owning a Disney timeshare, you can have it delivered to your room, and will arrive there next day.

Awesome smaller shop to view some of the finer more expensive items that Disney offers. Because of the location it isn’t usually packed and you can enjoy yourself while you appreciate each piece offered. Ordered a expensive piece there last year and it was shipped home in perfect condition. I highly recommend.

This Art of Disney always gets overlooked because it’s near the entrance/exit of Epcot, and most people are usually running toward the rides or leaving after the fireworks show, but it is a great location(and not just because I used to work there). It is a big store with lots of variety, and often has an animation artist working in the studio. The staff is friendly and can even ship to your home, so you don’t have to carry an expensive painting throughout the park all day! Check out the poster section — I like to call it «affordable art» — because there are some really neat vintage gems hidden in there.
