Need to start by stating I love the Depot!!! Like it so much I bought stock in it! This one location I have gone to a couple times this week and the staff has been VERY helpless. I have asked multiple people on the team where items were they told me general areas to go and most were wrong. Most depot employees take you right to the requested item … Not here! A real let down. Still love the depot tho.

There isn’t anything particularly outstanding about this location. I was disappointed that from the time we walked in the front door, searched for assistance in the toilet department, and walked out, not a single employee greeted or asked if we needed assistance. They have the standard variety of selection as others, and the store was clear and well-maintained. I do hope they turn down the country music next time.

PLEASEREADIFCONSIDERINGFLOORING&INSTALLATION… How quickly things go from a good review to a total nightmare. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. HD failed to install my floor so I immediately called All Floors of Orlando and they got the job done with no problems! USIG is the company that HD uses to install flooring. USIG hires contractors of their choice that actually do the work and as I’ve come to find out, its’ not beneficial to the customer. The installer from USIG arrived at my house on 9⁄22 and he began by removing the existing carpet but never removed the dangerous and hazardous nail strips/spike strips that hold the carpet in place. I have a 4 y/o and that’s a safety issue which went ignored. Immediately he said that my floor was unleveled and that laminate could not be installed. He said that I had to hire a contractor or a carpenter and that was going to be very expensive which was bad advice. Mind you, this is the first time I am hearing that laminate will not work. Home Depot came to my house to measure and inspect and never stated my floor was not a candidate for laminate. He also said that self-leveling compound would not work because the floor was completely unbalanced which turned out to be false. Yes, my floor was a bit unbalanced but compound could be used to fix the problem and it has been used by All Floors of Orlando to get the job done. Getting back to the story, the installer called his office and informs them that he cannot do the job and then begins to complain that he has wasted his day and that he is not going to make any money, like it’s my problem. He leaves and never removes the spike strips nor does he put back what’s left of my cut up carpet. I’m left with a dusty plywood floor with spike strips running along all the baseboards. About 15 minutes after he leaves, a rep from HD calls my house to inform us to be careful because the spike strips haven’t been removed, no sh**! Obviously that didn’t sit well with me so I headed to HD. To sum it up, HD was not helpful at all. They called USIG and were told what I just explained and immediately showed me what carpet options they had available. They could care less that our house was ripped up and that USIG abandoned the job. A manager was not available at 5pm which I find incomprehensible consideing the store is open until 10pm. I get told that someone will come to my house the next day to remove the spike strips and that a manager will contact me first thing in the morning, that call never came. Back to HD I go and I encounter Kelly, the flooring department manager. She pretends to care about my complaints but in the end, her lack of customer service skills and unapolegetic attitude triggers me to ask for a full refund. Home Depot issues me a full refund without any attempt to make things right and keep me as a customer. I head over to All Floors of Orlando across the street and the owner comes to my house and without hesitation states that my floor is capable of handling Laminate. HD prefers to issue refunds and abandon customers and I truly believe that they are too cheap to pay their contractors more money in order to get a job done. Do yourself a favor if you plan on getting laminate or any floor for that matter, go to a reputable Flooring company that knows what their doing. You may end up paying more but you will have peace of mind that it’s been done correctly and the quality of floor will be much better.

This is a nice Home Depot. Clean, and with staff that are easy to find and eager to help you out. Boyfriend and I have gone many times over the past few months, getting our home improvement on, and have had no trouble getting the items we’ve needed. From little tiny rubber o-rings to plants. Although I’m no handy woman, the Home Depot don’t mock me… they gently guide me along until I have the items needed for the latest project!

I was trying to find a vanity light all over town and they were the only ones that carry it so I called the night before and went to pick it up in the morning. It looks brand new, the staff was super friendly and helpful… I am probably going to be driving all the way there next time I need anything from HD.
