Although every other place on this street I tried had a wait of at least 2 hours, I was told the wait was only 10 minutes. A couple walked in right after me & was told 15 minutes but there buzzer thing went off before mine & they were seated. Another host walked up & asked if I had been helped & once I informed him what happen he began looking for a table. The 1st host walked back over & he told her I had been waiting & she said«who» then proceeded to ask me how many & pass me another buzzer to which the 2nd host motioned I already had 1. The 1st host then began speaking to the man next to me who just walked in as if I was not standing there & she did not make a mistake. The rest of the evening was great, the ribs are delicious(my boyfriend who hasn’t eaten pork in months helped me eat a rack); the sauce is superb we got extra to dip the fries in. He ordered a stacked chicken dish that was also very good & we had pomegranate margaritas. The waiter was friendly & attentive & the prices are very reasonable.

The only reasons I gave them 2 stars were the ribs were good and huge and our server was ok but everything else about the restaurant is unwelcoming and low standards. The hostess does not even greet you when you come in, not even a smile, with an attitude of a cheap restaurant, like if you want to wait or leave that kind of attitude, parties cutting in front in the waiting list and you asked about it and they said they didn’t even know and the manager? Well I do not know if they have one. Overall, I won’t go back for some overpriced ribs.

I am here on business for awhile and I went in for lunch today, sat at the bar and was extremely impressed with everything… Bartender Amber could not have been friendlier or more accommodating… good conversation, incredible personality… Amber suggested the Kickin Shrimp… excellent presentation, great size portion, very tasty, cooked perfectly… and then a full rack on baby-back ribs… great experience and great value. it wasnt cheap… but if I wanted cheap I would stay my monkey@ss at home. Thanks Amber! Also manager Patrick stopped by… he didnt buy me a beer… but he was very friendly. damn you Patrick!!! Went back next day due to incredible service, Chris, a regional or district manager was there… HE bought me a margarita!!!, as well as my favorite bartender Amber, and mean ol’ Patrick., another great night, killer service… dont be afraid to go here, these folks do it right!!! NOTE — Patrick was incredible and friendly, and did a great job… I didnt want to write this note because it will take away from some of the humour up above, but I didnt want him stabbing me next time I came in either… he carries a big knife… Love you cats!!!

I came here with a party of 3 on a Monday night. The restaurant was neither empty nor full, it had about half capacity. The food was ok but not great. I ordered a Bbq burger that left me a little disappointed. Others in my party ordered the bbq chicken and confirmed that they had definitely had had better. They mentioned that outside the bbq sauce, the meat lacked flavor. The service was excessively slow for a half empty restaurant… I blame the kitchen not the server. The service was excellent! Our server Phylicia could not have done more to make us feel welcome. She was very attentive and truly did an amazing job of giving us 5 star service. There are at least 40 other places you can eat within a 2 mile radius… I’ll be dining elsewhere tomorrow night.

Well, dinner here started out fine. Went on a Saturday night at around 7, and wait times weren’t bad at all, even with a full restaurant. The waitress took a while to come but she made up for it later in the dinner. Anyways, we ordered our food and I ordered a classic burger with cheese, cooked medium. I received my burger and was disgusted. My burger was completely black, and hard and crunchy. I literally had to cut it apart just to have 1 bite. No exaggeration here, this burger was disgusting and tasted like some careless chef through it on the grill and didn’t care to remove it. I contacted the manager. Usually, this restaurant would get 1 star based on the experience I had, however, the fries were outstanding, and the manager, Angel, was very caring and bought me another burger, French fry appetizer, and dessert. If the restroom was a little cleaner, this place would havbe gotten 5 stars. Our waitress was named Chantelle and she was very nice about the burger as well. The second burger and fries were wonderful, the burger was better than some of my favorite places. Come here and enjoy the food, if the order gets messed up, tell them and they will make it right, with a lot of added bonuses. This place definitely made me full with great food.

Food was HOT and AMAZING as usual. the only reason im giving it a four star is because our server Amber who was AWESOME!!! its servers like her that is the reason we keep coming back. I know Tony Roma’s is hit or miss. I’ve experienced this over the years. On this night, it was a hit. I ordered the Beef Short Ribs and they were cooked perfectly, extremely moist and tender. We ordered 4 meals and all came out prepared nicely. The big note here, it’s out of season so the waitress wasn’t overwhelmed. She had time to check on us repeatedly, etc. Service was excellent this particular evening at this location.

Enjoyed the meal to the last drop!!! I had the Filet steak Medallions and the half rack of baby back ribs. It comes with loaded mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables. It was priced at $ 25 and for the area that’s really good. Everything on the menu looks good and the service was outstanding. Our waiter Ken did a great job from beginning to end. His experience shined in his service. If you are in the Orlando area stop by and have a memorable dining experience. Again, great job!!!

Die besten Spare Ribs weit und breit, hervorragende Steaks und netter Service allerdings war der Service in den meisten Lokalen die wir besucht haben recht gut. Wir kamen zweimal und jedesmal war das Essen um eine Stufe besser als wo anders. Empfehlenswert die Ribs(Schwein) mit Standardsauce, es könntes etwas weniger Sauce sein, oder die Steaks. Die Ribs vom Rind und die anderen Saucen etwas für Kenner. Von den Baulagen war das Kartoffelpüree und das Gemüse zu empfehlen.

I went here prior to an event as we were told that they would be offering a discount for all Chive members(the group we were with). We arrived, the bar area and surrounding tables were packed. We found s pot at the bar and waited a while to be served. The bartender was trying, but it was so packed he did the best he could. He told us later that someone had called out sick. I ordered a soda and my husband got a beer. I also ordered a wedge salad and we both got the chicken sandwich. The sandwich was supposed to come with honey mustard sauce, a pickle and fires. First, the wedge salad was amazing, very good! The chicken sandwich was decent, but nothing to write home about. We both had no pickles, mine had honey mustard, my husband’s didn’t. Around us, tables weren’t being bused, there were used dishes and glasses everywhere. When we went to pay, we were not given the discount provided, which was fine, but don’t offer it if you are not planning to provide it. I wasn’t impressed and I would be hard-pressed to go back again.

FOOLMEONCE! I haven’t been to a Tony Roma’s for 20 years and was so excited to relive a great guilty pleasure– a slab of their famous ooey gooey fall of the bone ribs. I came in on a busy night at about 8:45p and sat at the bar. A nice girl came by to take a drink and dinner order after about 10 minutes. I noticed the time because shortly after ordering I realized the 9p happy hour kicked in. I was solo so I watched the TV and fooled with my phone. I was going to be patient because they seemed busy, ever after 45 minutes. Then I noticed that the guy across the bar who had just walked in(maybe less than 10 minutes ago) was served his food. I waited another 5 minutes and made it clear that I was becoming unhappy. The guy next to me who had just ordered asked how long I was waiting for. When I told him, he say«oh boy, I’m going to cancel the order I just placed. I’m not waiting that long». Then to our amazement, his food came out. He said–«you must be upset now», and was I ever! This jerk bartender who watched her customers repeatedly be served in minutes, yet interacted with me while letting me sit for nearly an hour waiting for their most served dish– their signature ribs, must have sized me up and concluded that this schmuck waiting for his food will wait forever so no matter how many times I see he hasn’t been served– tough shit. Her first inquiry to the kitchen was 50 minutes after I ordered!!! Now that I was pissed, she immediately had my dish made on the fly and only 1 minute later she had it. ITONLYTOOK1MINUTETOGETMESOMETHING I JUSTWAITEDNEARLYANHOURFOR!!! I explained that it wasn’t the wait but she’s so insulting to see everyone else be served in under 10 minutes while doing NOTHING about my dinner. I explained repeatedly that they’re insulting. I WALKEDOUTANDWOULDNOTRETURN. JERKS!!!

I haven’t been to Roma’s in years. Friend wanted a steak and shrimp, this was their choice. He had a $ 25 steak meal that looked and he said tasted good(I don’t eat beef). His meal came with a piece of corn on the cob and potato(I think you chose the sides, dont know). I chose the ½ chicken bbq which came with a TINY container of cole slaw that was ok and ½ a hand full of dried up french fries($ 13 for that meal and you would expect better sizes of the sides). Oh, the shrimp app was tasty — a little kick to it and not deep fried like the firecracker shrimp at Bonefish Grill. These shrimp had just a small amount of crunch with a nice kick on top of salad greens The service(David) was accommodating, though slow to deliver. The drinks were presented well(nice glassware), though not that strong. I guess I got a $ 6.50 per drink little buzz, nahhhhh not . We sat outside, nice atmosphere= imagining I was on South Beach and not looking at the parking lot. Maybe I should have had another drink to help with my dream. Will not be back, but if you have the time and patience —-check it out. ;0

I have been coming to Tony Roma’s as often as possible since I was a child, but I have to say I am not pleased with the direction they are heading. This location is still decent, but the other Orlando location has completely revamped their menu and it is AWFUL. That said, here’s the details on my most recent visit to the International Drive locale. I was in Orlando for the weekend and as always I decided to hit Tony Roma’s. Got the usual Baby Back Ribs with the Blue Ridge Smokey Sauce and for the first time in all the times I have been there, the Ribs were tough. They were Dry and not nearly as meaty as they used to be. Even the Blue Ridge Smokey Sauce did not taste the way it used to… almost as if it was«cut» with something else. The service was still decent and overall it was still edible, but this place used to be fantastic. I will give it another shot the next time I’m in town this May, but this place has slipped quite a bit over the past two years. I’m getting kinda worried that Tony Roma’s is going down the tubes as brand… especially in light of the changes made at the other location in Orlando over on Semoran.

My beautiful wife and I make the 90 minute journey from Tampa to Orlando for car shows and other events and one thing that is always a standard is stopping into Tony Romas for a top of the line dining experience. Great food, awesome experience, friendly service. Highlights would be the onion loaf appetizer, original style baby back ribs and the fiet medallions are to die for. Occasionally they will serve jumbo shrimp with a side of truffle butter and its fantastic. Always an accomodating staff, romantic ambience, great eats. Usually you cant find this combonation in a tourist town but Tony Romas has the goods.

Admitting to the fact that I dined at Tony Roma’s three times in the span of one week is quite embarrassing… but hey, what are you going to do for dinner when you’re tired from walking all day at Universal Studios and Disney World, when Tony Roma’s is so conveniently located a 3 minute walk away from your hotel, and when all other Unilocal bookmarks are«just too far»? You go to Tony Roma’s, of course. Although they specialize in baby back ribs, definitely look into their steaks, seafood, and pasta selections as well. They also have great happy hour deals on drinks. Service varied a lot when we dined here, ranging from super friendly and engaging to the classic«I want to go home already”-attitude. The baby back ribs, which are slathered with Tony Roma’s own original savory, tangy, and sweet BBQ sauce, are very tender and the meat fell off the bones so easily. The filet medallions were tasty as well. I recommend the filet medallion and ribs combo for some meat variety. But if you’re craving something from the sea, I recommend the shrimp and salmon piccata. Although the shrimp had a very small hint of fishiness, the portion size was very substantial. The salmon was moist and cooked nicely. The wild rice was a smart pairing, and spritzing a bit of fresh lemon juice pulled this whole dish together. Overall, portions are huge and substantial, and definitely fit the price tag. Plus, depending on how much you can stomach, you may have leftovers too. The restaurant is huge and spacious, prefect for large groups. All I have left to say is I’ve had enough baby back ribs for the next few months.

Tempted to give them a 2 star review because of the fly we found in my brother’s ice water. The manager Chris just said sorry but didn’t give us a free soda or anything to make up for it. In fact he seemed to say sorry then disappear. The lunch special here rocks. You can find a meal for $ 7 or the small steak bites for $ 13 with delicious red mashed potatoes. I LOVE their onion loaf. Though it’s more of a circle than a loaf. I got the demi glaze and asiago cheese for my steak toppings. Service was slow and the restaurant was empty for the most part. They need to work on being a little faster and work on their customer service. I’d hate to see what this place would look like with a crowd! You’d probably never get your food!

M’eh for sure. It was my last night in Orlando and I was exhausted and solo, so I did online ordering to go. The hostess was pretty unwelcoming. The Kickin’ Shrimp were slimy and the«spicy creamy» sauce had separated from the grease in the appetizer, which was visually… unappetizing. Steakhouse burger was blah and bland — and a bit too much Rosemary on the bacon. Skip it.

Nothing to rave about when it comes to the food. Just regular American items which would have give this place 2 – 3 stars. What really bottoms it out is the ridiculous service we had to deal with. My party of 9 had to wait 30 minutes to get the check and another 20 minutes just to get change or sign for the slip. Meanwhile, all the other wait staff is cleaning around is since the place is about to close down. Our waiter, Enrique, was nowhere to be found when searching for him. We had to get another waiter to find him. Unacceptable. Go somewhere else.

Tony Roma ist zwar nur ein sog. «Kettenrestaurant«aber hiet es großartige Baby Bach Ribs und die zu jedem BBQ Menue gehörenden super Saucen. Auch die Portionen sind richtig schön groß. Auch das Flat-Iron Steak ist unbedingt zu Erwähnen, natürlich zum Steak der Super Caesar Salat. Burger habe ich hier noch nicht probiert, werde ich aber beim nächsten Besuch mal testen. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam und immer Freundlich. Also ich komme wieder
