The food is excellent, and the wait staff are excellent. This restaurant is a must do for tourists. Prices are a little high, but portions are good and you will be treated like a queen(or king!)

Great staff at this location. The food was really good as well. I always order the same thing at Waffle House. I get the Grilled Chicken Breast with Eggs. It was cooked perfectly. The waitresses even sang old school songs for the customers from the jukebox.

This is by far the best Waffle House I’ve ever been to. The staff seems to enjoy their job and each other. Fun, friendly and delicious. Juke Box was rocking and we were singing along with our servers. Thank you.

What can I say. Eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, and a waffle. That breakfast the American way in my opinion. The service here is very good and the food is fantastic. I like the All Star Special and T Bone Steak and Eggs. The coffee too is very good. The other thing I like about this place is the people. People from all walks of life in this place.

The flavors waffles are delicious– we had strawberry and blueberry. A very good breakfast place, and one of the best values around. We ordered 3 waffles, biscuits and gravy, and coffee– all for only $ 12.50, which was more than enough food for the two people. I wish they had these in California!

This waffle house is right around the corner from my favorite watering hole. I stop in after with friends often. It’s usually pretty busy late at night through breakfast. I have never been in for lunch or dinner so I can’t comment on that. It’s just like any other waffle house that I remember stopping off at on road trips. The service is good and this location seems to always be well staffed. Definitely will be back again.

My rating scheme: 5 — The best of the best. Not many in this category. 4a — Wonderful, hard to get better than this — wide appeal 4b — Wonderful, hard to get better than this — limited appeal specialty restaurant 3 — Perfectly acceptable though not earth shaking 2 — Only if your hungry and there are no other options 1 — Dont even think of it The Waffle House: 3 A few years ago my commute was a 6 hour, 3 time zone flight from Orlando to Los Angeles every Sunday evening. I quickly became very weary of that travel schedule and I wondered how I was going to survive a year long contract. I came to dread Sunday because I knew that flight awaited the end of my precious weekend. One day on the way to the airport we stopped at the Waffle House for dinner — and it made everything right. From there on out — for 14 months — the Waffle House was my Sunday dinner ritual…“scattered, smothered and topped”. When every thing seems to be wrong — I know where to go. The Waffle House. When things are going well — I know where to go. The Waffle House. If I need to clear my mind — I know where to go. The Waffle House. If I need to be alone in my thoughts — I know where to go. The Waffle House. If I need to be among friends — I know where to go. The Waffle House. If I need something predictable to bring balance back — I know where to go. The Waffle House. If I need to understand the gifts the Lord has afforded me — I know where to go. The Waffle House. If I need a place to read the Good Book — I know where to go. The Waffle House.

I’ll make this short and sweet. Tarnished silverware(looked copper), ants crawling on my table, creepy employees rocking due rags. I’m good.

Excellent comfort food. Greasy, fattening, southern style goodness. Love Waffle House when I travel because there’s not any by me. The hash browns are awesome plain but you can get them with pretty much anything mixed in. The waffles of course are the best. They are fluffy and flavorful. The service was fast and friendly. Great stop near the Orlando airport.

I said it before and I will say it again. Waffle house is the only place that knows how to cook an over medium egg. Food is great I like my hash browns smothered covered and chunked. Good stuff. I do not recommend the sausage. It tastes like flavored sawdust. The only other thing is there seems to be a hatred between the cooks and the waitresses. Still better than any fast food breakfast.

I am a lover of Waffle House; I started in Georgia. This is my first time trying this location and the LAST. The food was good, for the most part. I’m coming for a waffle and instead of it being tan and fluffy it’s brown and semi-crispy = fail. But it was edible and I really wanted it. I order something extra to go(a sandwich ONLY) were you really going to charge me a to-go fee when I needed a to go box for food I still had? Hmmm.ok. Brought the wrong refill, brought the right drink but added ice when it was clearly without but the nice crawling bug brought to the table was sweet. I would suggest your servers familiarize themselves with the menu. If there are only 2 chicken sandwich options, you should know what’s on them. CLEANUP!!! There’s no reason the waffle station should look like you just poured batter all over the place then left it.

Oh Waffle House… what can I say? My fiancée loves, loves, loves Waffle House. I on the other had think it’s just okay. I do give them Kudos for using fresh eggs. If you have read my reviews, you know I am a big stickler for breakfast spots using fresh cracked eggs and serving real butter. The only two other things I like about waffle house is their super awesome hash browns and crispy bacon. They can make a mean hash brown anyway you like it and their bacon is always thin and crispy! Their wait staff is very friendly and attentive. They make you feel like your in your friendly neighbor’s kitchen and they are serving you breakfast. Other than that, I don’t like anything else about this place. I love waffles and I think their waffle are yucky. Which is funny because the name of the place is Waffle House… they taste funny and are thin. The other thing I find yucky is sitting at the counter. I don’t recommend it! If you know anything about sanitation, the practicing of food safety, don’t sit at the counter because you will see everything that they do. Everything from handeling dirty dishes then using the cash register to serving food… GROSS! I know, I am sure a lot of places don’t practice proper food sanitation but if you have guests sitting at a counter watching everything from cooking to dishwashing to serving food you should be spot on with your sanitation. So I didn’t die from sitting at the counter watching everything that went on, but I can you I won’t sit there again! And I’ll only go back because my fiancé loves it so much. It is definitely comfort food for him.

Waffles with hashbrowns«covered». Yum. Of all the things I miss about the south, its Waffle House I miss the most. Small, friednky service with an atmosphere you can’t match. The food is served right off the grill because they have to make room for the next order. Served by the old fashioned carer waitresses that know most of the regulars names. But its the waffles, hashbrowns and pork chops that keep you coming back! Cheap, filling and always open!

I’d driven by this place a thousand times when my boyfriend convinced me to go here for a cheap, hot, and filling meal. We like to sit at the bar and watch them cook our food. Also, depending upon what time you come you may get quite a show from the sometimes drunk patrons that come in. There are a lot of meal options for under $ 5. The past two times I’ve gotten a sausage, egg, and cheese grits bowl for $ 4. It’s tasty, particularly with a liberal addition of hot sauce ;). My boyfriend tends to order some monstrosity that comes with a waffle, eggs, choice of meat, grits, toast, and a drink for a similarly reasonable price.

Ahhh! What’s up with all the 2 – 3 Stars?(Maybe, I need to go to more waffle places to compare it to?)…But for now, I love this place! BF and I stayed at a hotel across from Waffle House just for one night. We were super hungry by the time we arrived to Orlando. Our driver told us about Waffle House, so we decided to try the place since it was 24 hours. We walked in and were greeted right away from the two employees working late that night. BF and I shared the Pork Chop Meat Lover and holy moly it was awesome! The price was pretty decent too for 3 pork chops, toast, hash browns and a salad. The pork chops were juicy, tasty and cooked perfectly. We had to go back the next morning for some breakfast. :) The prices here are awesome with the amount of food you get. Everyone’s so friendly and every employee greets you. If you’re ever in Orlando, I’d try Waffle House.

It’s hard to explain, but sometimes a greasy spoon becomes sterling silver spoon. Eating at waffle house is usually such an occasions; it is the right meal at the right time, and gosh darn, it tastes good! Tonight, we chose WH by default; we were in the hotel adjacent without any form of transportation, ready to fly out tomorrow. WH was the only option, but boy it tasted good after a long day at Legoland. Chocolate chip waffles, hashbrowns, and the fiesta omelette all went down easily. In fact, the fiesta omelette was really good… it was puffed out, like an eggy croissant! Service was good… the waitress did better with our group of 13 than did the Olive Garden waitress earlier this week. She also gave my son a few extra pieces of sausage after he told her he was still hungry. Awesome! Super friendly, even with 7 kids in her area. Facility was clean, by all standards. We don’t eat here often… nor would I want to… but it is a treat when we do. Tonight, the greasy spoon shined! Four stars for doing what it intends to do… cheap, good food. This ain’t the Ritz, but sometimes it fitz!

Waffle House you will hear many people mention even in «songs» LOL This is an Atlanta Based diner chain I think. My sweety loves this place god knows why but I do know he loves diner comfort foods especially late nights and breakfasts. Anyways — the ambience is diner family oriented friendly. As you walk in the staff will greet you with the time of the day. What disappoints me about the waffle house is the hygiene and portions of the food. You really have to sometimes watch who cooks your food. So the best seat is the barstool area LOL Yes the waffles are good and so are their porkchops! I found out they use Smithfields pork. Only time I usually eat here is if my sweety craves for it and I am dragged to go — Oherwise I rather go elsewhere.
