I am now a huge fan with thier addition of food and lunch options. Thier beer selection is always good but they have really stepped up thier game on the rare beers. They have gotten a great share of the hard to find stuff. Christina is an awesome sever and Jeff does a great job of adressing any concerns/issue that come up. They have excellent lunch options that I recommend trying. My favorite is the flat iron steak sandwich but thier burgers are on top in this area. Get tater tots… diabolical!

The staff here(the young man with the handle bar mustache) is super knowledgeable and passionate about his beer. Which made this a very fun place to have a flight at. They had everything I was looking for from my favorite foreigns to my favorite brews from small breweries that we’ve visited.

Great beer selection. Other than that, hot & cold. I went there two nights in a row. One waitress was exceptional, one was very good, one was just the boss’s ‘B’ at the bar. The wings? Reasonable. The wedge salad? A waste of money. The kale salad as a side? Excellent. Get it with blue cheese dressing. Chimay burger? So-so at best. Good meat, cooked to order. Plenty of «Chimay cheese» whatever that is. Mushrooms? 2 – 3 little slices from a can. Carmelized mushrooms? Zero. 2 – 3 one square cm pieces of raw Spanish onion. «Brioche» bun? Well, I guess that means anything better than 1⁄8th of an 8-pack from the supermarket. If you go there, don’t let them short your draught. They do that, too. Lastly, after being served by a woman, I got a bill with a guy’s name on it. I guess her shift was over. Great beer selection. Help yourself.

Service at this WOB — at which I’m a semi-regular customer — has gotten just unacceptable. The service isn’t rude, it’s just clearly understaffed and under-trained. I went almost 30 minutes without seeing a server with an empty beer glass. All while eating a meal. Finally, I was able to flag a manager and get some service that way. This is a WOB next to a huge college campus, I understand it gets busy, but this is the third time I’ve had service this shoddy. This place NEEDS to hire more servers. I get the new food arrangements can gobble up labor budgets, but this place is full to capacity on a nearly nightly basis. Seriously considering just taking my business downtown…

World of beer never really disappoints me. The service and bartenders were very helpful in recommendations and the beer selection is always vast at least to me. What really made me enjoy this visit was the music they played, their playlist consisted a lot of pop Punk classics that was really appealing to me. Although it was a coincidence I feel like it really helped with the feel of the bar and my experience.

WoB always has plenty of beers on tap, which is the biggest draw for me. This location isn’t my favorite one — maybe it’s the loads of drunk college students. Service here has always been OK, not top notch, but not bad. They definitely need more bartenders on the weekends — each time I’ve been there are only 2 behind the bar and 1 – 2 servers running the tables.

The«Tavern Fare» lineup of pub inspired foods has something for everyone with WOB tavern shares that include an authentic German Pretzel, Sriracha Lime Shrimp Tacos, Black and Blue Flatbread, Guinness Brat Sliders and Belgian Waffle S’Mores to name a few. The menu also has plenty of tasty and hearty sandwiches like the Chimay Burger, Chicken Pesto Sandwich and even a classic Reuben. This pretzel’s original Bavarian recipe was created by Germany’s most sought after artisan pretzel baker, Ossi Piller, and dates back more than 100 years. Served with house made stone ground mustard, this pretzel was delicious and fun to eat all at once. For an additional $ 2.00 you can grab the house made beer cheese, which was pretty awesome too. Try it with a Narragansett Pale Lager. The Spring Greens & Kale Salad features spring greens & kale with goat cheese, apples, sweet pickled red onions & candied pecans tossed in a Framboise vinaigrette. Pair it with St. Louis Premium Framboise. A very impressive Artisan Sausage Board was served up with a trio of jalapeño cheddar, cracked black pepper and hickory smoked sausages. Served with spicy pickled green beans, peppadew peppers & our house made stone ground mustard. Pair it with Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest. Sriracha Lime Shrimp Tacos are stuffed with beer battered shrimp tossed in WOB’s homemade Sriracha lime aioli and served on tortillas with roasted corn and tomato salsa with shredded lettuce and fresh cilantro. Pair it with an IPA of your choice. The Belgian Waffle S’mores are light & crispy, fresh baked, Belgian beer-infused waffles with toasted marshmallow, drizzled with a Kahlúa fudge sauce, & topped with graham cracker crumbles & powdered sugar. These were a most awesome dessert. Try them with a Sprecher Imperial Stout.

Boasting 500+ craft beers and daily rotating taps, World of Beer isn’t exactly known for their food menu. Well, watch out beer lovers, that’s all about to change as this group of restaurants rolls out«Tavern Fare» for the ultimate beer and food pairings. With many items and sauces made from scratch, World of Beer’s newest menu offerings might just surprise you. Their expanded kitchen allows for new made-in-house items and some culinary creativity. So, if you’re looking for the ultimate beer and bites experience head to World of Beer at UCF and taste some of these creations: German Pretzel: Paired with a Narragansett Lager, this gargantuan pretzel is baked soft on the inside and crispy outside, it’s then topped with large bits of salt and served with house-made Dijon mustard and a beer cheese dipping sauce. As a complement to the pretzel, this lager pairing was a nice palate cleanser and the perfect accompaniment to a salty pretzel. Spring Greens & Kale Salad: Fresh spring greens with kale and creamy goat cheese filled with apples, candied pecans and a house-made Framboise raspberry vinaigrette. The St. Louis Framboise paired with this salad was also used in the dressing, making for a nicely matched course. The St. Louis Framboise, unlike your traditional brew, is more akin to a boozy fresh raspberry juice which allowed for an unexpected, yet coordinated pairing. Artisan Sausage Board: A trio of sausages ranging from jalapeño cheddar to cracked pepper all served with house-made Dijon. A trio of meat so tasty and even more so when paired with the Samuel Adams Octoberfest. Between all the options on the board, there’s something for every palate. The malty and slightly sweet Octoberfest was the perfect German match with this dish.
Golden Ale Shrimp Tacos: A dish made in-house complete with beer battered tacos, tomato and corn salsa, avocado, cilantro and grilled corn tortillas. All the toppings and flavors you’d expect from a Mexican joint, but served with truly house-made toppings and a touch of beer for added flavor. Pair with Bell’s Oberon hoppy and floral IPA to enhance all that citrus and lime flavor in the tacos.
Belgian Waffle S’mores: Just when I thought the s’mores trend was dead, this dessert totally restored my chocolate-marshmallow obsession. These beer-infused waffles are made in-house and topped with toasted marshmallows a decadent Kahlua fudge sauce. After an intensely filling meal we totally made room to devour this entire plate. The coffee hints from the Kahlua mixed with gooey marshmallows and crispy waffles, which all added up to s’more perfection. Even if you came for that pretzel and beer, make sure this plate ends up on your table. This offering was paired with the smooth light-bodied vanilla flavor of Breckenridge Vanilla Porter.
An overall surprisingly tasty meal with truly house-made ingredients and flavor to match their already outstanding beer lineup.

This place is a great place to grab a drink, like most WoB with a great variety and selection to suit your mood. Also a great place to catch the UCF game, if they are out of town or don’t want to pass out from heat exhaustion at the stadium. They have a huge covered outside seating area, and they are in the process of building a kitchen, which I am looking forward to. A kitchen can only bump the rating up.

Great selection. Specials are very good price. Ask for the delivery menu, they allow you to order and eat there. Totally recommend.

Went on a Wednesday night, and the service was fine but way too crowded for the amount of people working there.

I am a big WOB fan. It was my go to place once I turned 21 in college and was no longer only able to go to 18+ disgusting college bars around UCF. The facility is kept clean and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The bar does get PACKED on college night(Wednesday nights) when they have a half off list on certain drafts. I use to love college night bc of the great deals, but standing up the entire evening and sweating like a pig is no longer very enjoyable to me. If you get there early enough you can snag a seat, but they do leave the entire place open at night so it still gets very hot. I recommend coming any other day/night than Wednesday(unless you enjoy the overly crowded type of environment). I also recommend coming here to watch games. It will get a little crowded for game, but nothing too bad. Just get there early and you will be able to find a seat. I also recommend joing the WOB club. You get a point for every new beer you try. It is a fun way to get you to explore different types of beers and you can also win prizes for hitting certain«milestone».

Very interesting place I went there with a headache from hell, song I can say it was bad I was just not having a good night. But my fiancé and my friends enjoyed it! Variety of beer from Allover!

The name of this establishment provides a pretty good guess as to what they serve. I have mixed feelings about this place. Pros: The servers and bartenders are friendly and very knowledgable about beer The draft beer selection is usually really good. Almost always something new. I like that the beer garden is covered so the heat doesn’t kill you in the hotter months. The selection of import bottles is better than anyplace besides RLRL. You can see what is on their draft list on their website. Cons: If you are outside instead of at the bar in the afternoons it can be a long wait between beers. The price per pint is about 1 or 2 dollars more than other beer bars nearby. The music is often so loud you have to raise you voice to talk to the person next to you. This is even true outside on some days. Overall the pros outweigh the cons and it is down the street from where I live.

What’s not to like? Great beer selection, large bar, as well as plenty of outdoor seating. The beers are a little on the pricey side, but they do have happy hour specials as well as College Night on Wednesdays.

3 cheers for good beer! 1 star for service=4 stars total. There’s only 6 people(including myself) at the bar & I have been passed over several times before the bartender served someone else first. When my friend next to me had an empty beer they asked him what I wanted & served him promptly. I had a couple sips left and they didn’t ask what I wanted & left me waiting with an empty beer for 10 minutes. So, good place, great beer, maybe the bartender could pay a bit more attention to their customers is all. I am a bartender, good service is asking both parties if they need anything even if they see some sips left because chances are a little nudge will get me to order more beer. And could it hurt to come back and ask how you like it? Just saying :)

I am a fan of WOB, and this one is a little different. I am used to the normal style venue with relaxed atmosphere, tons of TV’s, and roomy seating. They are standard when it comes to the beer selection but everything else does not work for them. The crowd there are generally students and there is live music. The location is quite cramped compared to other ones I have been to. The patio is nice when you can find a seat out there. Many TV’s as well, but not too many can be viewed from the patio. If you like live music and good beer you would like here, just be forewarned that the place is small so the music will be quite loud.

You know, I’ve been to a few of these in my time, but I can’t say why exactly. Do I want good beer? Absolutely. So what is it that makes World of Beer(WoB) not great? It ultimately comes down to the atmosphere to me. Bartenders and Servers don’t appear to be as attentive as in other smaller bars. I can’t help but feel like I’m just being churned through a system that could care less if I ever returned. Call me old fashioned, but I want that«Place where everybody knows your name» like Cheers. Ask me my name when I order, strike up a conversation, do something other than treat me as just another number. Yes, WoB has a great selection of beer. It’s like other bars in pricing, but I’m more inclined to purchase more expensive beer when I like the atmosphere. WoB doesn’t strike me that way. It’s a great place for a game to watch, or trivia night, but if you just want a casual place to go, maybe look elsewhere.

I rated the WOB location in Dr. P and my biggest hang up was the service received when not sitting at the bar… it sadly continued with this location. Overall, its WOB… which is great, because I mean it is World of Beer, but service at our table left a lot to be desired. The layout of this one was great. I loved the open patio that opened wide into the inside portion! Live music was a nice touch and was appreciated in many ways! Again, overall it is a good place to go and have a beer. The service seems to suffer when not at the bar, but who is going to get all butthurt about that in the long run!

Finally been to a World of Beer location after many opportunities to do so. Delivered on what I expected: big ass beer selection, some games on tv, and was able to make my own six pack to take home. A little disappointed on not being able to make a sampler. You’d think with so many options on draft, that this would be something everyone would want. Another drawback is not having food, which is not terrible, but a place as big as it is could offer at least a few things. Service was okay, busy night, but was able to get a few tastings before trying beers. The music was unbearably loud, it would be best to sit next to the person if you want to talk. Would go back to another location to pick up some beer to go or to have a quick beer at the bar.
