Epic sandwiches on the flavor and taste side. Highly recommended as the sandwiches are just Delicious. I do think the sandwiches are on the small side but since they are fairly priced you can simply just get two and it will probably cost as much as a Subway foot long. This is pretty cool considering that the quality of sandwich here is above and beyond that of Subways or any other national sandwich place. Sweet potato fries were also pretty solid but again the sandwiches are what this place is all about. If it wasn’t so far I would go all the time. If you live in the area consider yourself lucky and take advantage often. Highly recommended.

Cute little Vietnamese-inspired sandwich shop. The portions are worth the price. There is a good variety of flavors and combinations to choose from. The service is nothing spectacular, but it is satisfactory. They have an extensive boba tea menu as well.

The bar is high in the area for food to be amazing and out of this world. I came in expecting to be blown away by fusion banh mi. Sadly, we were sorely disappointed. It was good enough, I guess, we followed the reviews and got the Miss Piggy and Yin and Yang… and just, «meh.» My friend didn’t even finish the bourbon chicken. We both walked down the street for yummier snacks. Won’t be back.

Came for lunch on a Sunday and ordered the Ying n Yang sandwich and a mango boba tea with blueberry boba. Sandwich had some pickled veggies on it, which I was skeptical about at first, but they were delicious! We paid about $ 25 for two sandwiches and two boba teas. Ate every bite and will definitely return!

Yummi sandwiches is a fairly appropriate name. Most of the sandwiches I’ve had here are pretty good, fresh veggies, crispy diakon, tasty meats. The only thing is that I would recommend against the miss piggy. Some other fans of this place might disagree, but I cannot abide sandwiches that use pork and turn out to be 90% fat. I understand pork is fatty by nature, but that’s a sign of a cheap place in my mind if you get whole pieces of fat throughout most of the sandwich. I’ve eaten many pork sanwiches in my life that have bested this restaurant’s version, quality and taste. I feel like their boba teas are pretty good though, and I love their bean/pork buns. It’s fun to take one to go. Overall, I think this place has pretty good food at reasonable prices, but my choice of lunch on mills still tends towards tako cheena over yummi.

Never come here on a Wed because its closed. I made this mistake once when I was craving this place on a Wed. I usually order a classic Vietnamese Sub. Although a buddy of mine orders the Steak and Cheese and adds an egg it looks soo good but for some reason I always forget to order it. I also get the almond tea! Great place to eat and food comes out quick.

Taro Milk Tea tasted good, but the boba in it was clumpy & hard. I also liked the Coconut Freezer… but might be too sweet for some people. May come back in the future to try the food.

I haven’t met a Banh Mi at Yum-mi Sandwiches that I don’t like, and that’s saying a lot because I consider myself a banh mi connoisseur. The fresh bread, carrots, cilantro… it’s like a party in my mouth I totally want to rock out to. For all you vegetarians & vegans out there, go to Yum-mi to enjoy two of the best sandwiches I have had in this town: The Veganism & The Lost Tofu. The Veganism is their best selling non-meat sandwich featuring fried tofu, bean curd, jicama, carrots, yam… it’s as good as it sounds. Have this sandwich alone or, if you’re feeling indulgent, have some mango boba tea that’ll make you say yum as you sip it. I’m getting hungry just thinking about this… Clean, affordable, friendly staff & good food. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I had ordered their original sub(banh mi dac biet), pork sausage sub(nem noung) pork sub(cha lua) and overall it tastes pretty good especially when the subs are slightly toasted. I suggest that if u plan an order to go, tell them to give the pickled veggies on the side, otherwise the subs will be soggy by the time you want eat it later and no they have no problem doing that. They definitely have different choices of subs to choose. They also serve some typical vietnamese appetizers and rice w/pork or spring roll dish. There are a variety of smoothies. I had the mango lychee smoothie and the pineapple coconut. Both with boba and tastes pretty good. The place have several tables and high stools if you’d like to sit by the windows. It has tv and a couch for those who likes the lounge thing. Parking lot is available and plenty of parking off street as well.

I’ve only been here on a couple of occasions, but each visit has been a positive one. I’ve had a sandwich and a noodle salad bowl; both of which were fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and patient, but a missing star for slow service(the restaurant wasn’t busy). I’ll be back here, though, for the delicious food!

The first time I read about Yum-mi on Unilocal,I knew I had to go! The positive reviews, the intriguing Asian inspired sandwiches, the variety of Boba, and sweet potato fries? It had my name written all over it, but in the end I found myself tremendously unimpressed. The guy behind the counter was nice and knowledgeable with the toppings on each sandwich; they were very accommodating when my friend wanted to omit some of the ingredients. I went with an order of Sweet Potato Fries, the Miss Piggy(pork belly sandwich), and an almond boba milktea. Disappointment #1: they were out of coconut jelly. Disappointment #2: My sandwich was far too sweet, the bread was soggy, and I left over half of it. Disappointment #3: Worst almond boba milktea I have ever had. It tasted like watery birthday cake and the boba was not at all the right consistency. Thank goodness for the sweet potato fries, or I would’ve gone hungry! My friend thought her sandwich was good, but she was disappointed with her guava milktea — stating that it was tasty, but definitely not guava. All in all, I’m glad I finally got to try it — but I won’t be back. If you’re looking for good boba — go to Bubbles and Ice down the street.

I eat here so often I sometimes forget/take for granted how good it is. I realized this when I sent my out-of-town family there for lunch and they went back another 2 times before the week was over! The bread and veggies are always fresh and the spring rolls(though I’m used to calling them summer rolls) are my go-to snack. The jalapeños are very spicy(even if you pick them out), so I’d recommend asking for them to be left out of your Bahn Mi if you’re not a fan of the heat. I’m not s vegetarian/vegan, but the veganism Bahn Mi is one of my faves! Their tofu is well seasoned and they add cilantro to almost everything(my Peruvian blood sings at the scent of cilantro!). For desert, try their eclairs(remember the French influence on Vietnamese cuisine!) or a Thai tea(sweetened with condensed milk– so, VERY sweet!).

The name certainly doesn’t deceive, their food is Yuuuuum-Miiiiiiiiii! and their Vietnamese coffee… omg! I had no idea something so delicious existed! You have to try their spring rolls, I had the shrimp which was perfectly executed to say nothing of the flavorful peanut sauce, it can rival Phở Hoang Minh’s spring rolls which up until now I thought nobody else could touch. The sandwich itself was delicious, the bread being nice and toasty on the outside, soft and warm on the inside, the condiments were flavorful and fresh, and the guy tending to us was so sweet; excellent service. This will definitely become a new sandwich hot-spot, I only regret not having come here sooner.

I’ve been a little skeptical about trying this place just because it doesn’t look very appealing inside. But I was wrong to judge it based on their underwhelming interior. I ordered the VP and a chicken steam bun. Both were surprisingly good! I highly recommend trying the chicken steam buns! That was the first time I ordered Banh Mi since I usually go for noodles when I’m in Colonialtown. But I’m glad I tried it out :) Also, this is probably my favorite place to get a Taro boba. Other places are either too sweet or a little powdery tasting– they got the recipe right at Yum-Mi!

I’ve been waiting to try this place and I finally got to try it after fighting the I-4 traffic. I was somewhat disappointed only because I thought I would like the food here more than I did. There’s great reviews here and I love the clean modern twist at Yum Mi. The spring rolls tasted mostly of pickled carrots which overpowered all the other ingredients. I’m not too picky so I still ate it but it was something I noticed and still remember to this day. The bread for the banh mi is actually not my favorite. I do want to like this café more but I’d have to give it another try. I wasn’t impressed but can see why some may like to chill here.

I ate lunch here on 3⁄29 for the first time. The décor is modern and not cluttered. The staff was friendly. I had the tofu sandwich, and my husband had the lemongrass tofu sandwich. The bread was delicious and the fillings fresh. We both had frozen Boba Tea which were delicious and smooth. They have spring rolls, sushi rolls and some other rice dishes, too. We stuck with the name sake. They also had steamed buns that looked really tasty, but I didn’t notice them in the case until after we paid for our sandwiches. Definitely worth a stop in.

This is a perfectly fine place to come and get a Bahn Mi sandwich especially if you have never tried one before because is is not an intimidating location. The restaurant space is bright and clean with plenty of seating. Despite the fact that I have odd flashbacks to one of my first jobs here in Orlando working for a chiropractor who had his office in this same space back then, I’ve enjoyed my meals here. The menu board is easy to read and the sandwiches are tasty with nice fresh ingredients. They have a lot in back in addition to the on street parking which is also a plus. And unlike some of their counterparts, they do accept credit cards here. Are the flavors as complex as some you will find further down the road? No. Does the bread have the same depth of flavor and is the service as sweet as you’ll get when you are happily sent on your way with an «I’ll se you tomorrow» elsewhere? No. Is the experience as interesting and authentic? No. But will you walk away feeling perfectly satisfied? Yes. When we are on the go and want to be able to run in, sit down and enjoy a fresh Banh Mi this is where we go.

I tried this place out before on a limb, and I’m glad I did. The place is very clean, staff is friendly, and the service is pretty fast. Viet Banh Mi’s are my favorite sandwiches, and this place sold me. I usually order the Grilled Beef Banh Mi, but I add a fried egg. YUM-MI ! Haha, see what I did there? :D But the sandwiches are really good, and so are the Milk Tea/Slushies. Love the Taro boba here, but now I get the Taro Milktea with Lychee. Super delish!
