I loved biking down the trail to find vegan soft serve. I had plain vanilla. It was really good. They had non-soft serve vegan varieties that were tenting as well.

Dairy & wheat free and still delicious! I’ll be back before I head home! I bet their traditional ice cream is amazing! Heading back in for a coffee.

A dream come true for my kids with dairy, nut, and wheat allergies. We came every night of vacation! They have so many delicious options for those with food allergies. 4 types of homemade vegan ice cream, dairy-free soft serve, vegan hot fudge, smoothies made with a choice of non-dairy milks, sorbet and gluten free cones. I’ve never seen such an amazing selection. The staff were careful and friendly. And the homemade ice cream for those of us eating dairy was delicious! Best on the Cape. We will be back next year!

I have a 10 year old son with severe nut and dairy allergies. We went to the Ice Cream café hoping there would be something he could have and enjoy. We were not disappointed. The server could not have been kinder and more helpful. We ordered a Pineapple Smoothie and he promptly ensured the blender was completely washed and that he wore the plastic hand gloves while making it. It was perfect as you don’t often get that at other places. And of course, for the adults without such allergies, the ice cream and froyo was excellent!

So many choices! I didn’t even fully go through the whole menu as it is a bit all over the place because I didn’t want it to take forever for me to order ha. I ended up getting a custom made ice cream sandwich and it was huge. The cookies were soft and chewy and the ice cream tasted great, although due to its size I could not finish it all. It was a pretty crowded night but they had a lot of employees and the wait was not long.

Brownie sundae was incredible, but I might have died on the spot if I finished it-so huge! Prices were better than average and there is indoor and outdoor seating and a small parking lot.

Something for everyone! Vegan ice cream(and no, not just sorbet) — check. Soy-free vegan ice cream(coconut milk based) — check. Gluten-free and nut-free sugar or wafer cones– double check. Make you’re own soft serve flavor with fresh fruit– why not? The cocoamint chip is a very powerful mint ice cream with cocoa powder instead of food coloring. If you love mint, this is for you. The black raspberry, my favorite classic flavor, it exactly what I was looking for. The kids working the counter cheerfully provide samples and explanations of flavors and ingredients; they know their stuff. I’m glad they offer a kiddie size(1 scoop) and put 2 flavors in the 1.5 scoop small(but it’s really 2 scoops because how does one call a scoop half?). There’s plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy whatever ice cream/milkshake floats your boat. Also, there are cookies from the little shop next door used to make ice cream sandwiches.

This place was very good and it is a solid choice for some late night ice cream. I personally preferred the ice cream at the nearby Sundae School to the stuff served here but this place has a really vibrant and fun atmosphere so I will bump it up to 4. It was absolutely hopping when we showed up at like 10:30 pm and got chocolate brownie, chocolate with chocolate chip, and vanilla/caramel scoops. To be honest the ice cream here is average or slightly below average. The chocolate is kind of flat and bland and the vanilla could have been a little less sweet and a bit creamier, although the caramel in it was very good. But this place is in a big, awesome wooded lot with tons of seating and a big deck to chill on while you eat and although there were a lot of people the line still moved quickly. You can tell it is a place locals really like. TLDR: If you are with kids or something definitely come here because this place has a great atmosphere, ample seating, and the line moves quickly. If you just want the straight up best ice cream, however, go to sundae school. Apples to oranges.

There are many good ice cream places and this is certainly one of them. Everything is tasty, the prices are reasonable and the staff is good every year. The outdoor benches and tables can fill up, but don’t let that discourage you from going there.

We’ve been a big fan of The Sundae School for the past 20 years. However, TSS has met its match. The Ice Cream Café has the creamiest and most delicious homemade ice cream. Their hot fudge is great and they have a great selection of flavors. The Salty Caramel is to die for. My wife and I decided tonight that The Ice Cream Café beats the Sundae School hands down!

Tons of traditional flavors, plus a handful of creative flavors, PLUS all sorts of vegan and dairy free flavors makes Ice Cream Café a hard place to pass up on! It’s about 20 minutes from my house but it was definitely worth the drive! I would recommend it especially to anyone with dairy sensitivity, although I can’t say if they are food allergy friendly otherwise. My one complaint was that they charge for sprinkles and jimmies– otherwise, I say head on over!

Oh my goodness!!! Love this place! You have to try the avocado ice cream! Yes, that right I said AVOCADO ice cream. It is soooooo creamy. It has little bites of frozen avocado in it as well. It was a special when I went there on Thursday. So I don’t know how long they will have it. I hope it will become a regular ice cream there that they make! Love love love it!!!

Friendliest service much appreciated! I just had the salty caramel dairy free ice cream and it was delish :) I don’t have dietary restrictions for eating dairy but like to experiment with different options. The texture was smoother than hard ice cream and it was a wonderful substitute.

This place is great. It’s hard to find vegan ice cream anywhere, and I wasn’t expecting options on Cape Cod. The Ice Cream Café has a big menu with all sorts of dairy-based and vegan goodies alike. I was happy to get a vegan sundae: chocolate and vanilla twist, hot fudge, nuts, and a real cherry. This is a nice option for groups who might have someone avoiding dairy. The outdoor patio and friendly staff are an added bonus!

Great Spot. Homemade Ice Cream… Homemade Cones… Need I say more. I had the Peppermint Stick might be the best I ever had(to the person who referred to it as ‘cloyingly’ sweet, I think you need to take a step back, relax and stay off Unilocal for a while). Great customer service too.

What is not to love?!? The guys that work there are totally adorable and sweet. The ice cream is sooo yummy. I had the Salted Caramel and it was awesome. The people in my group had peanut butter, apple pie, and pumpkin pie. Everyone was thrilled with their ice cream. We are all already thinking about which flavor we will have when we go back tomorrow night. Definitely stop by and support this family business!

In desperate need of caffeine, we stopped at this ice cream and espresso bar on the way to Provincetown. It’s definitely a cute shop with a very«Cape-y» ambiance but I found the ice cream itself to be lacking. The peppermint stick ice cream was pretty mediocre — artificial and cloyingly sweet, although my friend’s frozen cappuccino creation was very good. Overall, it’s a decent spot to pick up some on-the-road refreshment but I wouldn’t drive out of the way for it.

I recently became dairy/gluten free due to a doctors orders and was delighted to find an ice cream place on the cape that accommodated. The Ice Cream café not only had dairy free ice cream but I was excited to learn that they had 2 kinds of GF cones. I had the Chocolate dairy free ice cream on a gluten free sugar cone and it was great. I will definitely be going back this summer.
