We’ve been doing take-​out here at least 20 times a year, and eat there at least 10 times a year. They were close and convenient. We Always order the bourbon bbq wings, which are usually delicious with lots of sauce, so you have to lick your fingers. When we tried to tell the manager the wings we brought home had no sauce on them and were spicy she vehemently disagreed, telling us we were wrong, this is what you always get. She made us feel stupid, like we don’t know what we’ve had in the past. She gave us our money back and wouldn’t remake the wings for us with the bourbon barbecue sauce. Does she realize how much revenue she’s lost because we’re never putting up with that again.

Food was good, but the service was not worth the food. The whole time we were sitting at the bar, the bartender ignored us and was more concerned with flirting with the waitresses, while he served them drinks. I am a bartender myself & I enjoy conversing with my customers and think it is a crucial part of the job. Throughout the hour that we were there, the employees had more drinks than we did and were gossiping about halloween plans instead of looking our direction. It doesn’t seem like there are other options this time of year, but when we come back to the cape, we will probably get wendy’s and a bottle of wine and enjoy at our hotel room instead.

Do you like bar fights? This is the place for you! Went in with my wife on a Saturday night and some Neanderthal clocked some dude a mere 2 feet from us. They proceeded to roll around on the floor like a couple of alley cats. All this while the bouncers (who are bigger than a house) did nothing. Good times. Scooped up my wife and left out the side door. Didn’t even pay for our drinks. I’m gettin too old for this shit.

Staff really couldn’t be nicer! They’re friendly, accommodating & welcoming. Great chowder, rivals Legal Seafood, imo. They undercooked my burger, quickly brought another, which was a bit undercooked also, but tasted good. The waitress was appropriately attentive and gave me a free drink for my burger troubles. In all, a great spot. Even with the first Patriot’s game on tonight (which I’d forgotten about) they didn’t mind a solo person taking up a whole booth. Sucks to eat alone, so their friendliness make it better

I have eaten here many times over the years and have had decent meals in the past but this visit will be our LAST VISIT EVER!
1. The service was horrible — lack of attention to our needs and then the meal was rushed.
2. The food was not cooked (steamers were raw) and instead of switching them out for a replacement or taking them off the tab, the waitress apologized and walked away.
3. The short ribs «special» was a pile of rubbery fat — not really sure what we were served.
4. Substituted one side for another and was charged 2 $ for the swap without being told In advance that this would be the case.
5. Medium rare burger ordered was raw.
I do not recommend this restaurant

The food was pretty much what you’d expect, typical pub grub. The pizza we ordered was very good. If I were just rating this on the food I would have given it more stars. But when we were seated at the table there were large spots of marinara sauce that were missed by who ever cleaned it. The waitress was absolutely horrible! She was nice and got our order correct… but after she dropped the food on our table we never saw her again until she brought our check. She never came back to see if everything was ok or if our drinks needed refills. She was far too busy checking her phone and flirting with guys at a table not even in her section. IF I ever considered coming here again it would be to pick up take out.

This place is clean and upbeat, and everything we ordered came out just right and was delicious. Wings, salad, cod, soup, drinks… everything was great. Friendly and competent staff completed the picture. We had been here before and will be coming here again.

We tried to order take-​out one night, but the bouncer tried to make us pay the cover for the shitty band. When we told him we’d be in and out, he said we could stand outside and wait for our food. Outside. In the cold. With all the drunk people smoking around us. Yeah, no. He was also half in the bag and smoking in the vestibule. We live in town, came here often, and we’ll never go back.

Yeah, it’s just ok. Not a place I would return to, but for what it’s worth, I didn’t have a bad meal. The pizza is well done, and piping hot. The meatloaf dinner I had was fine. The atmosphere, though, is tacky, and needs a lot of work.

The whole time we were there, the staff was getting loaded. I am trying to find the owners information but can’t find it. We couldn’t believe our eyes when the chef kept coming out, flirting with the staff, taking shots, and ordering drinks for the rest of the cooks. This place is a place you’d see on Bar Rescue. I hope the owner sees this review!!! They were giving the staff the good stuff too, hundreds of dollars of booze out the door. Never going back.

I was treated extremely poorly by a few man at this place last night my food look gross and wet and I all ask if hey could give me money back 11 bucks or so and they refused my fries and chicken finger were wet when I open the bag I mean really wet like they spit in my food or something the worst experience in my life if u see this place run away

The adult meal was OK. Fries were rock hard but sandwich was good. Ordered three kids meals. They were AWFUL. Chicken patty was like shoe leather, they too hated the fries. Grilled cheese was toasted bread with a slice of cheese (not melted) in between. Ice cream dessert… a hood cup (vanilla/​chocolate with wooden spoon) if you don’t want kids in there, don’t offer a kids menu.

Overall, it was acceptable. The décor is quite outdated, the bathrooms kinda nasty, and the service decent (but slow).
The food was decent. The stuffed mushroom caps were not very good, but the NE clam chowder was a delight! My wife had the rack of ribs (which the server got slightly wrong when putting in the order)…the ribs were yummy and had a great smoky flavor. I had the Captain’s Club (a fried fish sandwich) and asked for onion rings instead of fries. All was well with my food.
Overall, so so… food okay, but décor, service, and details not so good.

Wife had a buger. Very good.
Kids had burgers and chicken strips.
This is a busy place and I can see why. Not fine dining but still a very nice place for a special dinner out with the kids.

We went to this restaurant because the menu looked decent and it was around the corner from our inn. We were quoted 30 minutes for a wait, we’re planning on going to the Christmas tree shop next door but we were called 4 minutes after speaking to hostess. I ordered the spinach and roasted garlic ravioli and the hubby ordered ribs. My food was ok, the menu stated that it was served in an olive oil sauce but it was definitely a white wine sauce. The sauce overpowered the spinach and garlic taste.

Best I can say about this place is that we had fun experiencing a truly comical crowd. Totally smashed frat types. Sorostitutes doing their damnedest to look nice in a place that had a girl being led around by a LEASH. Maybe save the maxi dresses for Boston ladies. Drinks were ridiculously cheap. They were also so strong that two was my max and some people were being dangerously over served. Nice staff but not very responsible.

Holyoke, MA
Great local bar. Always packed on the weekends. A band starts around 9 or 10 and goes til close. Always entertaining. I LOVE the bartenders! Kenny and Dan are the best!!! Parking can be difficult when it’s super busy but even in the off season it’s crowded (probably because there’s nothing to do but drink on the Cape in the off season haha). Their late night pizza is always a good idea!
