WORSTCUSTOMERSERVICE I’VEEVERHADTHEMISFORTUNETOHAVETODEALWITH! First I called to make sure they would be open at 10(which every website says that’s what time they open) and the kid LAUGHEDATME and acted like I was crazy for even suggesting it. Then I had a few more questions and he acted like I was completely inconveniencing him and then — when I had more questions! — he suddenly said«I have to go now. Good-bye.» And HUNGUPONME. We had already made plans to meet people there, so we still decided to go. We scheduled to meet at 11 a.m. since that’s when they supposedly open. We had errands before meeting our friends and we drove by at 10 a. m and THEOPENFLAGWASOUT, THENEON«OPEN» SIGNWASLITANDPEOPLEWEREWALKINGIN. Fine — we already told our friends 11. We get there a few minutes before 11 and the older man there was gruff and rude. We mentioned about having called about the time and he scoffed at us, «We DON’T open until 11!» We said, but the signs all say open and THEDOORISUNLOCKED. He responded with, «Yeah, well, you’re here now anyway …» Even though it was very quiet, when we asked him questions he acted like we were totally inconveniencing him. Later, when we were bowling(with little children), he came out of nowhere and just walked down the aisle WHILEONEOFTHECHILDRENWASINTHEMIDDLEOFBOWLING without a single word to clear some balls out of the gutters. SERIOUSLY? It’s bad enough he did it, but to not even have the COURTESY to just politely say, «Excuse me one moment …» !!! ANDTHEN, some other friends of ours came with their children to bowl. There were MULTIPLELANESOPEN and they were told they’d have to wait. WHY??? We didn’t eat there. I hear the food is very good, HOWEVER, make sure your pocketbook is BOTTOMLESS.

I ordered the beef brisket and literally got a container of fat, it was disgusting. I called immediately and was told that they were too busy to discuss it with me but somebody would call me back the next day. Needless to say I received no call. Extremely disappointed… and disgusted.

We came to Orleans bowling center for a drink at the bar… And had the best bartender ever! Todd was not only extremely personable but made really great drinks! The chowder is excellent and the bartender, whose name is Todd, made it a really fun time!

The Bowling was great fun! We brought 4 children under four years old and our friends brought 2 under 4 years old. Super fun! After they went home for a nap; Grandpa & Mimi came back for lunch. AWESOME ribs! AWESOME food! Don’t miss this and say hi to Todd who is a great bartender.

Had wings(asked for extra crispy) and they were great. Not at all wet, but flavorful, and there is sauce on the table. Also had a half rack, and much the same on wetness, a real dry rub flavor with lots of meat. The atmosphere is good, and if you have never candlestick bowled you should definitely try it out.

10 pin bowling. I almost wanted to deduct stars because I bowled so poorly but this place was a lot of fun, with good food and a nice beer selection. The food selection is barbecue focused. They have ribs, pulled pork and brisket. They also a few types of chicken wings. Our favorite was the special, which was teriyaki-pineapple. We enjoyed them so much that we way over-ordered, but we were excited the next day to have leftovers, which were good hot and cold! As for drinks, there’s 10 or so bottles and about as many drafts, which you can order by pitcher, too. Service was great: both our waiter and the bowling alley staff.

Okay, it will be the most memorable night in any trip to the Cape or Orleans. Go for the gourmet bbq or go for the candle pin bowling. Better yet, go for both. Picky wives, cranky kids, jaded teens twenty something’s — no one will come away disappointed. If you are not into slow cooked bbq, try the salads – they are amazing. Candle pin bowling uses small balls with no finger holes. Even the little ones can roll it down the lane with or without bumpers. The bowling with food for four plus drinks may run you a hundred bucks but it will be worth it. If you go just for dinner, there is not a whole lot of seating in the restaurant area. If you go for bowling and dinner, you can eat at the tables right behind your lanes. The waitresses are friendly, the atmosphere relaxed. Go. Enjoy. Trust me.

Great family fun but a bit on the expensive side. Coupled with the great BBQ and service you can’t beat the experience. We had a wonderful time at the quaint location that is inviting. Never played this type of bowling before but the narrow pins and small balls made for a great evening of skill and laughter. I would recommend this to all families.

Out at the Cape for a wedding and looking for something fun to do with the family… The waterless urinals were nice… They act like this is a brand new, top of the line alley… There is nothing but douches working here… Our waitress was nice, but be careful ordering food/drinks etc because you are on the clock! The more time it takes for you to bowl, the more money they make… Sad because this place has so much potential and I was soo looking forward to it!

Adore this oldschool candlepin bowling alley. As a girl with a small frame, I found this game much easier and more enjoyable than regular bowling. For two people it cost $ 27 for an hour of bowling(we squeezed in 3.5 games) and shoe rentals. If you’re new to the game, they provide a cheatsheet of the rules(e.g. bowl 3x each turn rather than regular bowling 2x). I’ve been here twice, and both times saw players of all ages. It does get busy so call ahead if you need multiple lanes. Looks like I do need to come back at least another time to try out the food.

Unquestionably the best place to bowl on the entire Planet Earth. The one drawback from the last time I visited — circa 1971, with my Great Uncle Earl — was that the place was full of cigar smoke. No more smoke now, otherwise everything is completely unchanged(renovated bar and chic new menu notwithstanding, those details are unimportant): 14 lanes of Candlepin joy, no automated scoring with annoying advertising, you even have to do the pin reset yourself. Staff here are old school AND kind and friendly to families and children. Plus, a working pinball machine. No, even without counting the bar and grub, as close to perfect as you’ll find in bowling.

This place is awesome! Great bar selection, a fantastic pinball machine and candlestick bowling! As a New Yorker, this was new to me, but I had a blast. We spoke with one of the owners for a bit and he solidified the fact that this place is great.

Waffles and chicken on Wednesday, oh my!!! My man, daughter and I sat at the bar and devoured their delish culinary delights. It was perfection in all regards. One small, well big point was the lack of real maple syrup. It’s a small but critical component to amazing waffles and OBC does serve up amazing fluffy homemade waffles! I still rate this spot 5 stars and hope they can wrangle up some real deal VT maple syrup, otherwise, I am smuggling my own in… We shared a side of wings(the best evah) and a side of mac and cheese(little bland but hey, it’s mac and cheese… scrumptious). Fun bar scene with cool friendly locals and wicked friendly bartenders… love OBC!

Great lunch today — I had the pulled pork sandwich and hubby had the special pork tacos. Both were delicious. Our server/bartender was friendly and attentive. Next time we’ll bowl a string too!

Wasn’t sure what to expect for a dining experience in a bowling alley, but I was intrigued by its good reviews and word of mouth so I had to see(and taste) for myself. OBC did NOTDISAPPOINT!!! I had the pulled pork sandwich. My fate had the ribs, and for an appetizer we spilt the wings. Everything was AMAZING. Our server, Sheri was awesome!!! She was fast, friendly, and talked to us at length about OBC, its origins, and its owners. What a great place to bring family! And an equally great place for a first date! Fun atmosphere. Reasonable prices, and oh, did I mention, the food is DELICIOUS!!! Can’t wait to go again!!!

Awesome BBQ with a Big Lebowski atmosphere. Had the rack of ribs. Dry rub. They offer three sauces: sweet, vinegar based, and chipotle. The ribs were meaty and had nice crispy outside. Also had a great salad, so bring your vegetarian friends, too! Fill bar with about a dozen beers on tap including Cape Cod. And of course a White Russian.
