Images Makers Hair Salon

I’ve been using Image Makers for ten years and have had nothing but excellent care. Kelly keeps my hair just the way I like it, colors and cuts with care and is always friendly. I’ve been having Jill do my mani/pedi’s for a year and have come to love her and her work. Mo and Maureen treat everyone like family… and it’s obvious because of the number of families that come in. My husband also always had his hair cut and Image Makers and loved the crew. I would recommend them to anyone and have!

Kelly and Moe the owner are awesome!!! Super friendly and professional and my up do was fabulous and the talk of the wedding!!!

I first want to mention Kelly and MO (the Makeup artists) for them I give 5 stars!
My hair and makeup for the wedding was beautiful! They were fun and made me feel great.
Now on to the owner Maureen. RUDE! I confirmed with her numerous times and months prior to my wedding with several phone calls and also went in to the salon to confirm and set up appointments that the price for my bridesmaids simple updos were $ 50 And they were simple despite what she said. One had a side braid and one wanted a braid with a bun. the hair stylist decided to go more in detail on her own accord.
So when it was time to pay. They charged me $ 88!!! for BRAiDS!!! When I questioned her she VERY rudely told me she never confirmed the price. and shouted at me in front of the very full salon that they were not simple up do’s and then abruptly walked away, leaving me there to just accept the fact that we way overpaid for the hair. She also wouldn’t accept credit cards which was written in a tiny note on the stylist mirror, so we had to scramble to find cash to cover everyone. Not once in my phone calls did she mention that.
My hair and makeup was a crazy $ 212. She also did an automatic gratuity, which is fine, but we all wanted to tip our stylists more, but because of her rudeness we didn’t.
We would have been fine with accepting the charges, but because of her outburst and walking away from me while i was in the middle of talking to her about it, we all left feeling a little less special for our day.
I went in earlier that week for hair color and she did the same thing. She told me when I booked it would only be $ 120 and then they tried to charge me $ 160. When I questioned her again, she said «I will let the stylist figure it out» So it was very clear she was just making up prices as we went along. My sister in law called to get a blow out and she wanted to charge $ 75. She called another one down the street and they charged $ 30.
Maureen– Get your self together… You have really great stylists that work for you, and you unfortunately bring them down.

Pros: They use Aveda products and could squeeze me in. Cons: I can’t believe this salon qualifies as a Aveda Concept Salon. First, its way too small and does not have the atmosphere of Aveda. Second, no head and neck massage prior to shampooing. During shampoo no head massage. My hair turned out ok, but she used wayyyyy to much hairspray, which is the lazy way to get curl to stay.

I bought a Limelight deal, haircut, blow dry, mani and pedi for 42.00. Jillian provided my nail services. I typically don’t get a mani ever but am glad I did. The salon is small, nestled in the Post Office mall. The nail studio is across from the main salon. Jillian was sweet and attending. They have the new Skyfall line of OPI and other updated colours. I enjoyed an 1.5 of blissful spa services. It’s a simple laid back kind of place, no frills but great prices and great services. I will go back to Kelly for my hair services.
