Really 2.5 stars. Breakfast was ok but the paper plates and plastic fork lowered the overall experience. Charging $ 1 for coffee refills and $ 1.50 for 2 pieces of gluten free bread seems silly.

Wonderful fishwich and yummy clam chowder! Friendly staff too! It’s open in November, and serves beer and wine!

Stopped by with my wife for a quick lunch to go. We had heard great things about this place from some friends. The specials looked awesome, but unfortunately sold out for the day. We picked a couple of sandwiches off the regular menu and were not disappointed! Clean dining area, friendly staff. Definitely worth the stop! We’ll be back.

I had a very nice lunch here a few weeks ago. They serve Cape Cod beer which is fine but the highlight was the fish taco which was grilled and tastily dressed! The fries were good. Outdoor seating!

Place is cute and convenient, but food was just ok. Native sandwich(turkey, stuffing, mayo and cranberry) had just a tiny bit of cranberry which is the best part! Onion rings were heavily battered with that funky breading that made us wonder if they came frozen in a box. Clam chowder was good. Decent food, nothing special. OHP

Came for a quick breakfast and was really impressed with the menu. Ended up getting the Nauset Wrap which had eggs, cheese, bacon, hash browns, sausage and Nauset sauce which is a modified thousand island. It was really amazing and expertly made. We also got the chocolate chip pancakes which were huge and delicious. They have a nice burger and fish menu also. We’ll be back for lunch and dinner.

We went to the Nauset grill for breakfast while on vacation. Nothing wrong with the place, but it was pretty basic. I had an omelette and home fries. There was nothing special to the omelette, but the mushrooms were sautéed well. The home fries were a little too crispy for me, but some people may like them that way. I lean toward a little more of a healthy meal theses days so this review is a little biased.

Stopped by for lunch today and had the grilled shrimp taco with Cajun sauce. The slaw was nice and crispy. ‘Shramp’ were grilled perfectly and the flavors were bright and fresh. The fries were seasoned well, crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside. Service was cheery and well organized. The place was packed with happy diners. Can’t wait for a mulligan!

Mediocre food My expectations were high when I saw all the positive Unilocal reviews but they almost made me question if I had come to the right place. Although the service was friendly and the restaurant was clean, the food was very mediocre. They do not serve hot lobster rolls here, which was a disappointment. My whole family ate here and nobody really loved what they ordered. The lobster roll was nothing special. I was confused by how this place got such high reviews.

Followed Unilocal here, and certainly wasn’t disappointed. We pulled up at 5:30 on a Wednesday to an empty parking lot, not good. Front entrance was a little confusing, kind of nervous. Walked into a counter-service restaurant, not what I expected. And then BOOM! I was blown away. Friendly service helped us through the menu. Some of the best clam chowder we’ve had, fish fried to perfection, cole slaw so fresh the cabbage was still crisp… do I have to go on? And as we sat outside eating on a PERFECT night, we watched the masses arrive, and were grateful we made it here ahead of them. We’ll be back.

We’ve eaten at a handful of nice eateries on the cape and so far this one’s our family favorite. The fish sandwich was divine; awesome burgers, roast beef with horseradish, so worth it. Couldn’t stop eating the sweat potato waffle fries and onions rings — extra thin, sweet with super flaky crust. Cant wait to come back — and bring our friends.

Hands down best food on the cape. We came here on a Tuesday evening, and we ended up coming back every single night that week because the food was so delicious. I had the California turkey sandwich, and I don’t think I’ve ever tasted anything better in my life. The owner and his wife were SUPER nice, and they were happy to make suggestions when we couldn’t figure out what to order. They also were nice enough to tell us about other fun things to do at night on the Cape. Per my friend, the Philly cheesesteak was incredible(and I’m from Philly!). Fried pickles were literally AMAZING and the portions were generous. They also have outdoor seating which is a huge plus! I honestly cannot wait to come back to Nauset Grill. I will recommend this place to anyone who will listen.

I was staying at a beach house about 10 minutes from Nauset Grill and my friends and I went 3 times within the week. Lots of options including sandwiches, burgers, vegetarian food, and seafood. The service was very friendly, and the food never disappointed. I especially loved the organic iced tea. I would recommend this place for a yummy bite to eat in the area.

The short version: excellent ingredients, expertly prepared leads to outstanding flavor. The longer version: Nauset Grill is an exceptional find for a few reasons. First of all, I love that the menu is a bit more adventurous than just fish & chips or lobster rolls. Those things are great, but there is so much than can be done with the wonderful seafood that’s available. The folks at Nauset Grill get that, and I love them for it. The fish tacos combine perfectly prepared mahi mahi with a great slaw and salsa for a light, delicious taste. The Po Boy was filled with perfectly fried shrimp(not too heavy or oily) and was bursting with flavor. The breakfast options are a cut above too. The steak and egg sandwich had tender cheesesteak to go with the fired eggs and a grilled sub bun. The home fries were perfectly seasoned. I joined Unilocal specifically to sing Nauset Grill’s praises. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Just a gem of a find. Great breakfast options quick with outdoor seating and awesome clean lunch options. Tasty lobster rolls which are big and allllll meat no filler. Very pleasurable service and suggestions with an ample menu to fit any taste. You won’t be wowed by the salads, but this isn’t the place for salad. Fish tacos or Lobster Club is the way to go!

My wife had the cod tacos. I had a Reuben. Both were excellent. Fries and onion rings are awesome. Quaint eatery. Had a delicious Cape Cod Beer to wash it all down. Excellent.

Just ate here for lunch w our three kids. Our daughter ordered soup but ended up not liking it(kids and their changing tastes) and they made her a grilled cheese free of charge to make up for it. I thought that was really sweet, and even before that the staff was patient and friendly while our kids ordered. Cute location, picnic benches to eat outside. I had the buffalo shrimp wrap and fried pickles. Food was fresh tasting and flavorful. One other reviewer said the fried options were light and not oily and I agree. Would like to go back and try the non fried options, they have a great selection.

I’ve only been here a coupe of times, and it’s never failed! Breakfast was excellent and so was dinner. The owner is very personable and the price is right. Try the fish tacos. Yum!
