Awful — won’t go again. Period. The beans are awful. I ordered a chimichanga rojo — got beef tips not steak. I had to ask for the menu back to show them it should be steak not beef tips. They take it back to fix it and then give me another one — the shell was soggy — so much for fried! hardly any steak and a mole sauce that tastes like it came out of a can of those ravioli in a can… oh it was supposed to be topped with cheese sauce. But whatever right? We were a big table and only one person said there’s was good. Second time here — now our last. And didn’t even do any adj to the bill. Poorly handled. sad!

La Fiesta is the place to go! They have hands down the best guacamole around. I could have it as my meal and be satisfied, however I still order dinner. I had the Chipotle Tequila shrimp, and it was probably the best dinner I’ve had in Months. The shrimp are big and marinated in tequila. A must try! Alex our server was great as well! He was busy between table and the bar but still got our food out very quickly!

Love going there on Thursday nights for their margarita specials. My favorite appetizer are the shrimp fajita nachos. They also have create your own with pick two or three plates. The waitstaff are always friendly and service is great. I think it’s the best in town for Mexican.

Never would I ever expect a place named La Fiesta to have the best Mexican comida ever! Sounds like a tourist trap right? Negative my friends. This place is the real deal and every single item on the menu sounds delish. You will not be disappointed! I had the quesadilla mazatlan, super good!

Chips and Salsa were very good. Rice and refried beans were good. The problem was with the enchiladas Verde, which were very small and just adequate in flavor. I would have given 4 stars, but to charge an extra 2. 25 for refried beans makes the meal a bit pricey. The environment was clean and pleasantly appointed.

The absolute best Mexican place I have ever been to. Came with a group of 10 and not one person had a bad dish, seriously! The best refried beans ever. Had the Chicken Spinach, awesome!

My apprehension knows no bounds. This location has the same menu as the Port Orange location, but the food just tastes better and the service is much better. Stopped in for lunch and ordered the following items. Cheese dip Tacos al pastor Chicken quesadilla Beef taco Everything was tasty and properly cooked and seasoned. The cheese dip is always a draw for obvious reasons. It’s cheese dip. I am fairly certain that a different crew is present at dinner, but for lunch I will definitely return.

Guacamole is the best ever. Burritos are the best ever. Drinks are the best ever. I can’t say 1 negative thing about this place. We’ve been to this one and the one in Port Orange. We take the drive down from Palm Coast. Great staff. I’d give more stars if I could.

Food was delicious it had a unique taste, but some of them, like the stake was not well done as it was ordered, took a while to get refills, and to come get out order, but other than that it was perfectly delicious. The guacamole was delicious never tasted one like this one.

I hate to give this place a bad review because my parents love this place, but if you’re looking for authentic, great quality Mexican food, this is not it. This is «great» Mexican food if you’re an older person who has never traveled or lived in a big city, in the sense that it is also one of the only options in Ormond for Mexican. The only reason I’m even giving one star is for the salsa– I can’t argue with good salsa. It was well made, just the right mixture of acidity, and delicious. Now for everything else– the house margaritas were awful– they were incredibly sweet and just tasted like they used a mix out of a bottle. Bleh. I drank it, because… alcohol, but it did not get me drunk enough to forget the horrible taste. I originally had the shrimp tacos, because I thought hey, I’m in FL, seafood is great here, safe choice. Wrong. The shrimp itself was fine, but the sauce they put on it had turned or had something bad in it. It was almost like a non-spicy chipotle flavor… like chalky and tomatoey almost? I made my dad try it and he agreed I should send it back. I almost never send things back, but I made an exception. I got the pulled chicken soft tacos instead, and while they weren’t bad, I could easily have made them myself at home. Nothing special. The guacamole was weird also– the taste was fine, but they don’t mash it? Like… at first they brought it out in one of the authentic stone bowls, and I was excited, but there was no tableside mixing and no pestle included for us to do it ourselves, so it ended up just being like… quarters of avocados that weren’t mashed… We made do with forks, but I don’t want to work that much for my guacamole. Overall, besides the salsa, everything was incredibly sub-par, and I would not recommend coming back if you’re looking for good Mexican food.

Hands down the best atmosphere for good Mexican food and the best margaritas made by our favorite bartender Jen. It says alot when your orders are already being prepared when she sees you come in and the best personal skills by far! Always my Thursday regimen!

We are very particular about our Mexican food. They have the traditional combination plates, and the enchiladas and tacos are delicious. My husband really liked the rice and refried beans. I had the Sopa Azteca and really liked the big pieces of veggies and slices of avocado. We’ll definitely go back.

I grew up on Mexican food but unfortunately, can not cook it. Whenever I am craving Authentic Mexican food this is the closest I’ve tasted in Ormond. I carry out a lot during lunch and dine in once in a while there fresh margaritas are delicioso! !

Hard for me to give a star value to La Fiesta. I LOVE their food, and had great service ALMOST every time. However, the foods never been the same at lunch time. Maybe a different chef? But it’s just mediocre then. I’ve also had one really bad service experience when I was out with a larger group(8 of us) and they managed to throw away my meal, left us waiting for over an hour without drinks or food, over charged us for food and drinks we never ordered or received, etc, etc. Supposedly your waiter is also your bartender and may have the entire restaurant all alone and the several employees hanging out with the hostess by the front desk don’t do anything. Then the manager was kind of nasty about it all when we were asked how it was on the way out. However, that was one time and in a large group so maybe it was just a fluke?

Excellente! The atmosphere is not really what you’d think of for a Mexican restaurant… Very upscale. Great date night place. Small restaurant with high ceilings, the chips and dip came quickly and the food was good. The server took our orders without writing anything down and they came out perfectly as ordered… And there were 6 of us and we even changed a couple things as we ordered. Impressive and a lost art. The pomegranate margarita was«meh», and for $ 9 id have liked it to either be bigger or better tasting. The food was a bit inconsistent in serving size and quality… My cousin, who is from the area, told me NOT to order the shrimp quesadilla, which apparently has too much cheese and not enough shrimp.(Is there a such thing as TOOMUCHCHEESE?) anyway, I went with the chile rellenos. They were tasty. The filling WAS cheesy and the«picadillo» was marinated steak chopped up and stuffed inside with the cheese. Then it was battered and I suppose fried(?). In my opinion it would have been fine without the frying part because the batter was soggy by the time I got the food. Still, I’d order it again. The«picadillo» was not at all what I am accustomed to(having a Latin family) so if you’re ordering solely for picadillo, know it is marinated beef, NOT what is traditionally known. Very tasty, just not expected. My daughters got the chimichangas, which they enjoyed. The portions were large and filling, as was mine. However, my cousin ordered the fish tacos: two small tacos with no sides… WHAAAAT? Each of the other meals came with beans and rice, and nice portions of the main dish. Odd, to say the least.
