Picked up a menu after a movie at Regal Cinema in Ormond. Ordered Special «deep dish» 14″ for pick up. Got home, opened the box to discover a regular pan pizza. Called to let them know they got my order wrong and she explained that was a «deep dish» because it’s not their newer hand tossed thin crust! Words have meaning! An average, run of the mill Daytona area pizza is not deep dish. Did not get what I craved, they lied, I will not go back!

Eat at Manny’s on Labor Day evening.
It was very busy, but no excuse to wait over an hour for your meals. The food was underwhelming. The eggplant parm was soft and mushy. The pasta was good, sauce was OK. Don’t think I will be going back.

The pizza is outstanding, we ordered 4 different types and each of them had their own qualities. The restaurant has a homey down home feel. We absolutely love this place. If you haven’t been I highly recommend this place.

I hope Manny’s reads some of these reviews so they can see what others wrote about the watery sauce. As far as the pizza, it was tasty, but the menu is very misleading. The menu stated «deep dish», but their pizza is FAR from deep dish. They need to change this verbiage (call it «original», perhaps?)) or they will yield many dissatisfied customers who are looking for a deep dish pizza.

Just got the take out. Food was not bad, yet what I thought would have been inexpensive turned out to be a little over $ 50 for 3 people. We got 3 dinner entrees, a large salad, 12 garlic knots, and the dinner entrees came with garlic bread. I though the food wasn’t bad, and the garlic knots I thought were pretty good. The marinara sauce seemed to be a little watery. I make my own sauce from scratch where I take whole peeled tomatoes and squeeze them by hand. Anyhow, the garlic bread was just okay. It seemed more so like toast rather than garlic bread. Would I come back? Probably, but next time I will have my wife pay more attention to the bill since I feel that having mostly bread entrees we got ripped off.

Manny’s is always consistent and I’ve dined here hundreds of times over the years. The chicken parmesan with spaghetti is great, however, the pasta needs to be drained first. Its usually very watery which in turn waters down the pasta. The chicken could use a little less breading. The pizzas are top notch as well as the grinders, and the greek salad is great.

I’ve been going here to eat since I was a little girl. I’d always want to ride with my dad to go pick up the food so I could see and talk to Manny. He always makes everyone feel like family when they come in.
I’ve been eating the same thing here for 15+ years and that’s the chicken parmesan with spaghetti. It’s always delicious!
The place is small, everyone is friendly, and they have arcade games for the kids to play, which is always fun. They also have a few TV’s in case there’s a game on you can’t miss.

A fine Pizza and great salads. Comfortable large dining room without the tacky pizzeria feel open and inviting instead. Staff is pleasant and care about the food they serve. Try their spinach and cheese bread!

I love Manny’s! Every time I come to town to visit the family I always hit this place up. The salad is the best, so much good meat and cheese. I know what you are thinking and you are probably right… but it’s super tasty. The pizza and beer are good to of course so you should definitely check it out if you in town.
