They always deliver sooner then they say they will. The pizza is always very good. The people who deliver it are always very nice. Some of them look like retired IBM executive’s or something. I recommend Pizza Hut highly.

I have been ordering from this Pizza Hut since 2009, ever since I moved to Ormond Beach. I almost always get delivery, and typically order from them 2 to 3 times a month. I am very happy with the overall service and quality of the food. Pizza Hut does make my favorite pizza of the chains. This location has, on more than one occasion, exceeded my expectations with food quality, and/or delivery times. I don’t fault a restaurant for the delivery time as long as it’s around 30 — 60 minutes, and they stick to what they say the delivery time should be. If I order and am given a 30 minute estimate, I feel it needs to show up no later than 10 minutes after that time. The only exception for me is if I specify a time for delivery hours in advance. Of the 50 or so times I have ordered from here, the food arrived on time, hot and delicious. Every restaurant will have an off day, and I have had a few deliveries that were later than they should have been, or not as good as I expected from past experience with them, but overall 95 percent of the time, it’s hot, good, and on time. There was only 1 time, when I had ordered 3 hours in advance for a scheduled time, and the food was 25 minutes late, and it wasn’t hot, and frankly not very good. I did report the issue, but never heard back. I’ll give them a pass on this though, because they have done so well so often.

I’m going to be brutally honest with this review — because the entire experience from my entry to the store and my exit was awful. 1 — I placed my inital order online for two large, one topping pizzas. I figure, okay, that won’t be too difficult to accomplish — two simple pizzas. pretty easy so far right? 2 — I specified that ONE pizza be cut into squares. 3 — I place my online order, give an estimated completion time of 15 minutes, and I’m ready to rock and roll. .Takes 15 minutes to drive to Pizza Hut. 1 — Arrive to Pizza Hut and enter the building. Greeted by a disheveled employee named, Cindy. 2 — I pay for my two pizzas. 3 — Cindy removes them from the hot box and shows me the first pizza, cut into squares. I nod my approval and then onto the second pie, which was also cut into squares. Cindy asked me if my order was correct, which, it was not — she asked what the problem was and I advised her that only ONE pizza was supposed to be cut into squares and the oth’er was not. She brought the pizza that was made incorrectly back to the cook and she stated«the customer ordered incorrectly». The cook stated, «I didn’t understand the ticket». As I am hearing and observing the conversation, I think to myself, if he doesn’t understand, then, why did someone not think to call me to clarify the order? They remake the order and I was told that it would take 15 minutes for the re-order. 4 — Cindy comes back to the counter and calls me over to show me a copy of the order receipt. She stated to me that I ordered my pizza incorrectly — that I should’ve noted in the comments section not to cut this pizza into squares. For the online ordering system, you are only given 28 spaces(which is not a lot) to include a comment — therefore even if I wrote, «do not cut this pizza into squares» — they would’ve only seen«do not cut this pizza». At any rate, she then pointed out on the receipt the two different pizzas that I ordered, which, were indicated on the receipt as being 01&02. Cindy stated that the second menu item dictates the entire order. So, in that case, I would’ve gotten two pepperoni pizzas cut into squares. I have also ordered this same order before from other Pizza Hut locations and I never had a problem. Cindy stated that the online ordering system is different for every location, so, I said, okay, I’ll speak to management in the morning about it. …The next day. I spoke with Donna, who stated that she was the store manager. I told her about the issues that I had with my experience the night before. She pulled up my order in the system with my phone number and she stated that she did not see why there would’ve been a problem since it clearly indicated the differences between the two pizzas. She put a $ 5 credit on my phone number which will carry over regardless of which location I use. Overall — the customer service is horrid. Regardless of the countless apologies that I received from Donna, it clearly does not make up for the fact that one of her employees attempted to embarass me in front of other customers and staff members. I would not recommend this location to any one.
