Good beer good pizza. Very friendly and helpful/knowledgeable about their menu. Everything made in house down to the spicy and flavorful sauce on the wings. Good job!

Not a fan, i’ve been a few times. Every time I go I think it’ll be better than the last, gets me every time. Atmosphere is terrible, and I’m not sure what is worse the service or the beer. For whatever reason this place is still open. Prime location for tricking one time tourists to walk in the door. Repeat customers are probably those that have never been outside before. Don’t know anything about beer? Want sub par food that’s dolled up to make you feel cool and young? Going through a mid life crisis? Soccer mom that wants to pretend to like beer? Tourist on vacation that doesn’t know better? This is the place for you!

This is one of 2 locations and this is the small one. We were there early and it was not busy. Beer was tasty and staff friendly. There were good smells coming from the kitchen although we didn’t have anything to eat on this visit. They’re just starting up a running group which sounds fun. We’ll be back for sure.

We want to go to different places in town to try rather than chains. Great French fries with gravy and cheese! We got the double cheese bacon burger pizza which was good, people at another table said they got the buffalo chicken pizza and it was amazing. Only one waitress working but she was nice, just a little slow because it was too much for one person. The only other thing is no u sweet tea and no lemons which is really all I ever drink so that was a bummer.

My husband and I were pretty disappointed. We really love beer and breweries in general, but the beer was just ok and the food was rather bland and overpriced. The atmosphere also added absolutely nothing to our experience– the same could be said about the service as well.

Been coming here for the last couple years while visiting with family. We have always had a good time until the last trip. Our server was a complete dick!!! Not sure his name Kyle or something but he seriously needs to be put in check. Beers are great though just don’t get that jerk.

After visiting the one in Port Orange I wanted to give this one a try because it’s the original. We showed up around 8:20. For such a small place it was pretty packed out, but granted, there was a huge family with kids there. I personally don’t think anyone should bring kids to a brewery, but that’s personal opinion. Like I said, we arrived at 8:20 and ordered our drinks. It took about forty minutes to even order our food and took so long for it to actually be delivered we just had it to go. I was beyond annoyed. The food was okay but was definitely not worth the wait. I don’t see me returning to this place anytime soon, I’ll stick to the one in Port Orange.

This is a great small craft brewer, very low key place but the staff all two of them are friendly and engaging. I tried a couple beers and they will give you samples if your not sure, they don’t have your standard chain restaurant beers(bud light, miller light) but that is fine with me. The pizza was good with quality ingredients it did get a little crunchy on one side and that’s the reason I didn’t give them five stars, if you want some good local brews and decent food in a cool location check them out.

Good brewery, nice folk. Delicious watermelon beer, but they didn’t have enough to full a glass. No other beer came close. Not sure that drinking water should come out of the tap that says«for hand washing only». A little scared of their hygiene with water and food handling

Came here yesterday evening for a few beers. Loved the selection and the staff. We ordered 2 flights to try all the beers on tap. I recommend the vanilla latte and my husband really liked the green magic. Will definitely be going back when we are in Ormond.

I was fortunate enough to try The King” Imperial Elvis Peanut Butter Banana Sandwich Brown Ale 8.5% ABV. This was an amazing beer.

Kudos to Tomoka Brewery for getting creative in their brews and taking chances! We didn’t love all of what we tried, but we loved that they tried. The pizzas are also great, a perfect size to share with someone. We were happy we stopped here for lunch!

A group of us had beers & food. The Hopquest IPA is a great American IPA. The Muthu Fuggle EPA is a great English IPA. The bacon cheese burger pizza was great & the buffalo blue pizza was also amazing. The chicken wings were also great. I will be back when I am in town.

We love this place! We stop here whenever we are on our way into Ormond Beach. The beers there are very good– not only Tomokan’s, but the other Florida brews they have as well. The pizzas are very good, and they are nice enough to let my boyfriend and I get half-and-half toppings: classic pepperoni for him, and I make something from their long list of ingredient options. I suggest their specialty pizzas– they’re all terrific! Can’t wait to visit their new location in Port Orange!

Our 92-year old Grandma wanted pizza. Up came this place. I wasn’t sure this was the right place to take her, but we’re kind of foodies and it sounded the most interesting. Couldn’t have made a better choice. She and our 3-year old enjoyed a pepperoni and sausage pizza and we had the spinach, goat cheese feta, red onion… Wow! The 4 of us ate 2 pizzas, we couldn’t stop, they were SO good! And the Wild Pale Ale was out of this world! We’re from WI and have our share of good micro brews, but this one will be on our minds for a while. Next time we’re back in Ormond Beach, we’ll be back here!

Was visiting some friends in the area and brought me here. A lot of good beer on tap. My favorite was the Hop Quest IPA. They also serve food that is pretty good. Here is where I was introduced to Hot Boiled Peanuts. I was a bit skeptical until we ordered some. It was salty, juicy and the peanuts were soft. Great for drinking brews. They also have an N64 with a bunch of games that is a lot of fun to play while there. Don’t forget to write on the chalkboards in the bathroom!

I might be over rating this place. They only had one of their beers on tap, Sour, but hearing the list of what they have has me hopeful. They did offer a great selection of guest beers. Plus they’re moving to a new location in January with a promise of more of their brews on tap. The 4 stars is really about the OMFG Apple, Bacon, Chicken, Goat Cheese pizza I enjoyed. It’s not fair to offer something this good in a hard to find little place like this. I’m looking forward to my next visit to completely evaluate their beer selection.

I came back with the family and tried a couple more beers and a couple pizzas. I really enjoy spending time here. The beer selection is very good, with at least 1 or 2 homemade brews. The pizza was great as well. I like the thin crust and pizza oven.

We came here on their 1-year anniversary(happy birthday!) to a pretty packed house. Ordered a few slices of the pizza which were insanely slow, though we were warned given their expected high volume. We received 2 of 5 slices within 10 minutes, then another 2 within 20, then kept waiting another 20 minutes for the last slice, by which time everyone had finished theirs. When we did finally inquire about the dragging wait, our server noted, «We gotta stone oven, bro,» so that makes sense. The 420 slice was pretty good — and seems pretty aptly named, given the above comment and the clientele.(Gotta know your demographic!) I was feeling foolish and hip and ordered the goat cheese which, to my slight chagrin, only featured a few bits of the earthy cheese with the rest of the ingredients slopping off. The tomato sauce was supposedly made with their IPA, but it didn’t add anything noticeable. Their house beers, though. Ugh. $ 5 drafts would be a good anniversary deal, I guess, if they were delicious. However, we universally agreed that their beer was more akin to rubbing alcohol. Now, the party I was with included my dad, brother, and husband, who in that order range from low-brow to more high-brow beer enthusiasts. Dad, uh, prefers his malt liquors, whereas my husband prefers the hoppiest of IPAs. Our server gave us a few samples, which was nice. However — and maybe it’s because I have no palette for beer? — I couldn’t even tell the difference between the gin farmhouse ale and their Hefeweizen because they both tasted like acid. The watermelon wheat tasted too close to a comparable Jolly Rancher. At least the pilsner had a high ABV — I think around 6%? Still not impressive. My brother wondered aloud how the place has been open even a year. Yikes. Again, I reiterate that it’s quite possible I have no taste for beer. And I totally understand supporting your local brewery. That’s cool, and please do! I just wish the beers were better here!
