I was in Ormond Beach on business, last week, and stopped by. This is definitely my kind of store. Wonderful merchandise! I will be back.

A fun place to browse around for cooking and wine items. When ever I see a neat item in some add or online I come here to see if they have it. Surprisingly not only do they have the item they typically have some other to choose from. The staff have always been pleasant and helpful.

Hands down, this is my go-to spot for gifts. Such a tasteful and amazing selection for everything home & kitchen. Plus, they will wrap your gift beautifully. Staff is pleasant, and guaranteed you’ll bump into a friend on a weekend if you’re a local. Best thing? They were OPEN the Sunday before Christmas in 2010. Smart smart smart.

In November I ordered a special wine glass from the Granada Gourmet which was to be a Christmas present for a friend. The sales clerk told me that the glass might not be in for Christmas but that it would be in shortly thereafter. Last week, the last week in January and after many calls, I went into the shop again only to be told that the glass had not even been ordered yet and that it would be ordered with the Valentine’s Day merchandise. I asked the sales clerk why I hadn’t been told that an order would not go in until February and she replied, very rudely, I might add that she didn’t know why I wasn’t told. I went home and after some research, ordered the glass online and received it in two days. I will never go into this shop again since I believe the help have attitudes and I don’t need to spend my money whee falsehoods are told and clerks are snippy.

Because I pride myself on knowing my way around the kitchen, I really enjoyed browsing through Granada Gourmet and truly wish it was closer to Orlando! The cookware, dishware, faux artichokes, cookbooks and basic cooking necessities were all so beautifully displayed. It made me want to throw an apron on and start cooking. It was more inviting than a Williams Sonoma and felt more real or local. They had life-like foods displayed on tables to show the customers how a nice table could look – it was impressive and appeared so real. The sushi especially! I am sure that if you had a Martha Stewart wannabe in your life, she would appreciate a gift from this lovely shop.
