Great bread. Reasonably priced for the quality. I bought an apple sweet bread, it was wonderful, very soft and moist not overly sweet. just perfect. Definitely will go back.

Customer service was great. They gave us good recommendations for sweet and savory breads. My friend gave me a loaf of their honey pecan and raisin bread and my family ate it within two days. Their cinnamon roll was definitely amazing as well. Overall good experience and I hope to be back soon

Fantastic Bread!!! Their strawberry and peach pie breads are to die for. I no longer buy my bread elsewhere. Since tasting their Russian Rye my daughter-in-law will now eat Rye.

Just got the Almond Poppy Seed dessert bread. Best I’ve ever had! It’s not too sweet, but VERY moist. It was still warm like it was freshly baked. And it’s topped with a yummy icing. This is my new favorite!

Breadsmith is wonderful! No more store bought bread for us! Try the Mediterranean herb-yummy!

Stopped for cookies. First time in since it opened. Local couple bringing an upper Midwest chain to Tucson. They couldn’t live without it after moving to Tucson. Reminds me a little bit of Great Harvest Bread Company. Open layout, with the baking area out in full view of customers. Samples and daily specials available as well as sweet treats. Tasty stuff!

Great bread. Huge scones. Definitely a bread store and not a café. Friendly people. Prices higher than grocery store but not unreasonably so and quality is better. Nice variety.

Absolutely the best bakery in town! So happy they are here. I’ve become addicted to the French Country Bread; it’s SOOOO good. Hopefully, the good folks of Oro Valley will support this great bakery.

Once upon a time, back in the ancient days of my childhood in New York, my grandmother would stop at a bakery in Queens and bring us traditional Rye every Sunday. I stopped into Breadsmith yesterday for the first time. And there it was. Traditional Rye, crusty, soft and flavorful on the inside, just the right amount of seeds and incredibly delicious. I don’t as a habit eat bread anymore, particularly since I am diabetic. So the opening of Breadsmith is a double-edge sword for me. The bread is fabulous. You won’t go back to supermarket bread ever again. And my husband, skinny man, brought home the cinnamon cobblestone. Back East we call them Cinnamon knots. For the novice, that’s a cinnamon bun on steroids. Less frosting, more bun. And yes, I had to take a bite. Followed by several more. I have a feeling anything you sample(and they do have samples) in this true artisan bakery is well worth the calories and the guilt. Though not so much guilt when you realize the ingredients are fresh and wholesome and chemical free. But really, did they have to open up sooooo close to my house?

Love this place. Fresh, REAL bread. Many vegan selections. I haven’t been able to find a real bakery that uses artisan ingredients to make healthy vegan bread until now. We tried several loaves and none of them made our stomachs swell like commercial bread does. I’d be interested to know if they skip all the industrial super fast rise yeasts. I believe the proceeds benefit a local school culinary program.

This is a fabulous bakery, and the fact it’s on my side of town is great. I haven’t been able to find real rye bread in Tucson — until now. Their Traditional Rye loaf is the best I’ve had. I look forward to trying their New York Style Rye as well. The ciabatta is perfect with a great crust and perfect crumb. The Mediterranean herb loaf is another delicious choice. They’ve only been open three days and I already have five stamps on my bread card. I’ll be a regular customer.

We are so happy to have Breadsmith open in Oro Valley! My waistline is not so happy! :-) The owners are originally from Wisconsin and they are very friendly and nice! We’ve tried the Russian rye, French, pretzel, country white, freedom and crostini and ALL have been amazing! I do not like rye bread because I don’t like caraway seeds but this rye bread does not have caraway seeds; it is more like the molasses bread I grew up eating in Minnesota.
