Good food. Good environment. Nicer casual but jeans are still cool. Great choices of steaks. Prices are reasonable. Full bar. Fantastic service, very professional. Will return.

My wife and I have dined here many times, and have never been disappointed. Onion soup is one is the best and beef is wonderful.

Checking in again and have to say that while we still are not thrilled with the appetizer selection(get something that will work for two people before a steak dinner), the food and service are fantastic! Thanks for ironing out the kinks — this is the best neighborhood bar/restaurant in town!

Highly recommended for happy hour. Excellent service, beautiful presentation, good food. Go early and sit in one of their upholstered private little salons. We had the nachos dish and the prime rib sliders, both were delicious.

Wanted somewhere new to celebrate my birthday and was completely happy with my choice! Food was excellent and so was the service! We will definitely be back!

Great service can save bad food. Bad service can ruin great food. I don’t eat at a lot of chains, but in the northwest quadrant of Tucson options are slim. I’ve been here several times and the food has mostly been ok to good and the service has been consistently awful. That was not the case tonight, tonight was great. The stars were aligned for our happy hour party of four. Our good energy was met with an excited smile and the outcome was win win. Too many servers and barkeeps just mail it in and that’s terrible, but again — not the case on this night. Service at the bar was top notch and the suggested appetizers from the local bartender were on point. Prime rib sliders were deliciously topped with a horseradish that could ignite a fire. Crisp shrimp cocktail and tuna tacos with a zesty wasabi sauce also got«wave» reviews. Get it? Every need was anticipated, our glasses were never empty and we even got the tv changed to watch our favorite hockey team. Thank you Keg, pleasantly surprising.

We came here last Tuesday and Ryan was our waiter. Excellent service throughout the night! I’m glad to know that service across a chain steakhouse is consistent and amazing. We ordered drinks and meals. I have been to the other restaurants in many other states and have been equally good. Steak came out exactly how I wanted. By the end of the night, we were full and ready to sleep. Till next time!

We’ve eaten here several times before when in town for a visit and have always enjoyed having this upscale restaurant. Tonight, however, we were disappointed not with the food but with the timing of the delivery of the food. My husband was the only one in our party of five who ordered a salad. While were waiting for our dinner to come, we asked for bread after we saw it being delivered to other tables nearby. Our waiter, who was super nice throughout the night, acted as if bread was a special request before bringing it. My husband finished his salad, we finished the bread, and then finished our wine. We all began to notice that it was taking a long time for our dinner. In fact, the waiter came by once and said the food would be right up, since he saw them plating it. It would be at least another 10 minutes before our entrees were brought, and a total of an hour after we had arrived for our 6:00 reservation. We all agreed the food was delicious. Everyone was happy with their orders: Teriyaki steak, bacon-wrapped chicken, pistachio-crusted salmon, ahi, and the prime rib sliders. However, we decided that due to the slow service, we would not go back anytime soon. I think the waiter was fine, but something was going on in the kitchen at the time of our order. We watched as other parties were seated, brought bread right away, and got their entrees all before we were done. There was a manager roaming from table to table, but somehow he skipped our table all night, so we couldn’t tell anyone of our displeasure with the wait. We won’t rush back, and when we want a nice meal, we’ll be trying another spot.

The only thing missing is their lack of making Apple Pay a part of the payment procedure. As a snowbird I try to frequent Apple Pay restaurants. So far Keg has missed out on 7 of our dining events since Sept. 1st2015.

Love The Keg. They have a great happy hour with excellent cocktails and bar food. The rib-eye sliders are tasty served with horseradish. Be careful though, all of their bar dishes are very rich and it’s easy to overdo it. But what the heck, it tastes great. Table service is just as good. The wait staff is top-notch and we have never had anything but an excellent experience there. The steaks are consistently cooked to order. I especially like their Chicago option for grilling, which is extra char on the outside, while done to order on the inside. The only steak I’ve ever tasted that was better was my dry-aged USDA prime strip steak cooked sous vide to 128ºF and charred over an infrared grill — but I digress.

Made to feel special! A split of champagne and a happy anniversary card signed by the staff awaited us! Meal and service 4*s!

My husband and I usually eat here at least once a week. I love their salmon and my husband loves their Filet. We always have their spinach strawberry salad. If we have room it will either be the Billy Miner pie or crème brûlée.

Been going to The Keg in Phoenix for years. Decided to go out while in Tucson(Oro Valley) for our Anniversary. Service as always at The Keg was great. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Very attentive staff to details, such as the fact it was our Anniversary. Seated us with a card signed by the staff and the manager came over at the end of our meal and provided us a complimentary champagne toast. Stopped at the bar before dinner and took advantage of a glass of wine at happy hour price! Thanks for a great night!

I have been here once for dinner and a fair few other times for happy hour. I think their happy hour and bar atmosphere is better than their dinner. Just know this is a very dark, atmospheric restaurant. They also have a really cute little patio when the weather is nice with a great view of the mountains. The waitresses are all really great and really beautiful. Here are a couple reviews of their happy hour menu: Baked Garlic Shrimp– Very good, but the thing that is on the menu that tastes most like you can get it anywhere… ie: they took it out of a box, unfroze it, and baked it. Still yummy. Baked Brie – I wish there was more. Their crostini is hit or miss in terms of being too crispy, but they have some amazing basil pesto and red pepper jelly and it is the best in town! Scallops and Bacon – YUM. Bottom line. Loaded Nachos– A great bang for your buck because it has a good amount. I always add some meat and it is great! Mojito – Good and refreshing Margarita – my favorite mixed drink there if I am not feeling wine. Usually wine is my first choice though and the wine is a good pour. Oh and their bread… bread is my favorite part. The bread here is GOOD. Basically a great upscale bar on this side of town!

Flawless and incredible upscale food and atmosphere. Best filet mignon I’ve had in Tucson(bacon-wrapped with dayum good garlic mashed potatoes). With wine, it’s $ 100+ per couple — and absolutely worth it. My only negative is the location. It’s all the way up in Oro Valley at Oracle/Tangerine. Definately a solid«once in s while» or special occasion place for adults/couples.

We dined here a few days ago and it was just plain excellent!!! Service was superb and the food more than met our expectations. I would highly recommend if you would like to have a delicious steak dinner! We both had the filet and the twice baked potato, wedge salad and some fine Cabernet wine. The manager, Ray also was delightful as he checked on us as well. Loved everything!

They wow’d me a few times. That’s what I call a 5-star restaurant! First of all, I have to say that the view at night is EPIC. Situated just high enough on the hill to get a great view of the city nearby, the city lights added a nice touch to our group’s dinner. Everyone was pleased with their meals(mostly steak selections), and the wine was good! Desserts were amazing quality as well. I really wish I lived closer, as I would definitely come back here again. Keep up the great work!

This is a pretty fancy place. We have eaten here many times over the last 4 years. The service is always top notch. The food sometimes is another thing. The good. This place looks great. It is modern and upscale. From the patio with some great views of Pusch Ridge, to the bar that has a nice and relaxing feel, and then the dining room that is visually perfect from the lighting down to the masonry work on the fireplace this place comes together nicely. We have spent time in the bar during happy hours before a movie or just simply shopping at the marketplace. They have a well-priced happy hour and we have not been disappointed here. The bar is my favorite part of this place. The food is usually great. From the 12 dollar burger to a 30 plus dollar steak, the flavors and presentation are outstanding. The bad. We have had to send food back on a few different occasions. Our last visit(01÷11÷15) we ordered our steaks medium well. Both were served very pink. I would rate them rare(my wife’s very rare). She sent hers back to the kitchen. It was then served well(very well). The kitchen manager came out and talked to her. He said he had looked at both steaks and they had in fact not cooked them right. He took her entrée off the bill and that was nice considering she only took two bites out of the very well done steak. This last visit consisted of a failed dining experience at $ 55.00 dollars with her entrée removed from the bill. This was also a no alcohol meal so you get the idea a little pricey for a failure here. More importantly this was a little special dress up and go out meal for us that was somewhat ruined by a poorly cooked steak that was cooked wrong not only once but twice. While looking around we saw a few other tables sending stuff back to the kitchen. The ugly. The acoustics in the main dining room are just horrible. If you see several cars in the lot the noise level in the main dining room is going to be as loud as eating in a loud diner. The voices just echo off of everything. This is truly a failure for the dining room and the main reason why I say the bar is my favorite location to dine in. Overall. I am only giving The Keg 3 stars. When they are at their best and while dining in the bar it is a nice 4 – 5 star place. At its worst and with a busy loud dining room I would give it 2 stars. The place is very visually appealing and would make a perfect date night location if the dining room was not busy and loud or if the bar or patio seating is available.
