So tonight my boyfriend and I had dinner at the red lobster in our neighborhood we paid the tab through the manager and then chased out of the restaurant by the server screaming we didn’t pay out tab we were so embarrassed as the restaurant was getting busy and people are starting to walk in and out of the restaurant we called the manager and she comped us a whole $ 10 for next visit I will not be stepping foot back in that place first of all what is $ 10 going to buy anyways.

I’m an experienced diner who has eaten all over the world and used to be a Zagat rater. The worst restaurant I’ve ever been to is this one. If you like overpriced soggy butter laden gloppy seafood you’ll love this. Otherwise avoid this Doug Ducey style restaurant. It’s disgusting.

This is the best Red Lobster in Tucson. Smiling servers and good food. They pay attention to the details. I had broiled scallops that were melt in your mouth perfect not little rubbery eraser heads.

I haven’t been to a Red Lobster in a while, but I had heard they were doing things to improve so my family and I decided to give them a shot and they didn’t disappoint. It is still a chain place, but good seafood places in Southern AZ aren’t exactly on every corner. We has crab legs, shrimp, and a chicken entrée(for the non fish eater in the family). Everyone felt they had a good dinner and there were no complaints about portions, taste, etc… It seems like the changes they are trying to incorporate are starting to pay off and we will definitely give them another shot in the future. I just wish there was a 3.5 star option as I don’t think they are quite 4 star yet, but 3 does seem a bit low.

I don’t recommend eating the crab legs. End of story.

We ate here on the night of the Christmas tree lighting in the Oro Valley Marketplace. Despite it being pretty busy inside we received great service. This usually is a nice place to go and enjoy a relaxing meal. The service is very good. On this visit they had changed to a new menu(see below). I don’t think it was a good dollar value for what was served. I went with the swordfish and my wife had the chicken. The food was tasty but it seems along with the new menu the portions have gotten smaller(a lot smaller). The salad was very small but tasted good. The entries were served with the sides. The baked potatoes were pretty small in size however they tasted good and still had that crusted rock salt on the skin. The rice pilaf and swordfish was also tasty but a small portion of each. My wife enjoyed her chicken and it was an OK sized portion. For dessert I got the brownie a la mode. I have tasted better brownies out of a boxed mix. With two baskets of biscuits and the dessert I was satisfied however if I was hungry I don’t know if it would have filled me up. When we return it will be for lunch and see what the portions are like.

We went here for lunch one day and sat at the bar for some drinks, biscuits, and a couple apps. Service was spot on, food was good, and of course the biscuits – yum!

I haven’t eaten at Red Lobster since I was about 12… so got a craving and popped in for lunch. Sadly, the food we had was not good. Like bad not good. Other dishes coming out looked better… maybe I just don’t know how to order. We had the tilapia tacos($ 8.99) which were so salty and fishy tasting that we didn’t even finish the three tiny tacos between the two of us. Yikes. We also split an appetizer of crispy fried green beans and fried calamari which in hindsight was fried food overkill. The beans were nice until they got cold, the calamari was chewy and not too nice from the start. The green beans were supposed to come with a side of Sriracha aioli. which the server didn’t notice to bring until we had eaten a good portion. If you look at the pictures online and on their menu at the restaurant you will see that there is NO comparison to what they actually bring you. Overall, just not impressed. You’ll get better seafood pretty much anywhere else.

My husband and I had a surprising amazing dinner there. We sat in the bar area. We had the oysters. Huge! The lobster did was great. He had the New Orleans Salmon and I had the Bar Harbour Bake. Delicious! My only complaint is they could not make skinny cocktails.

Very nice place, nice and bright. First, they bring out the most wonderful buttery rolls … To die for. Our server Daniel, was great. Timed our courses just right. Had the mussels to start then the lobster on lobster with mashed potatoes and green beans — awesome! No room for desert! We will definitely be back.

No wonder they’re struggling. We had dinner there last night and the meal was totally unremarkable. Salads we’re premade iceberg mix that you often find in a bag at the store. Sides soaked in butter. Even the fresh salmon they touted was bland and prepared more like you’d expect from a Denny’s than a seafood specialty restaurant. If you want to eat healthy, skip this place and if you want great seafood, spend a little more and go somewhere else. Darden was wise to unload this chain. It’s going nowhere.

My husband and I stopped in on New Years Eve. We were surprised to be seated right away because we’d walked out of a pizza place(Mama’s) that had nearly an hour wait for just a slice of pizza. The girl who sat us was either new or not very good at her job or just off her game that night. Whatever the case, I could have done with more focus on US, the customer than her repeatedly trying to tell another employee that we were a «2» or a «three top» or that we were seated in «[waitress’ name] and not [other waitress’ name]‘s area» or whatever the hell she was saying. She never once gave a friendly hello or anything. Not a big deal, but definitely not a good impression. Our waitress, or «seafood expert» as she called herself, was good though I’m forgetting her name. She and the place still looking pretty new were really the only things that made me give this a 3-star review instead of two. While we were eating, another employee was spraying the seats next to us with whatever chemical was in the bottle. Not something I want floating in the air while I’m trying to eat dinner. On the same note, she was using some little push broom/vacuum thing while we were eating too. I get that she has to clean and do her job, but we weren’t there long, it could have waited. Or, the first girl could have sat us somewhere else. A couple other things, the biscuits here were bad. Like, burned and hard bad – not the typical Red Lobster biscuits. It might not seem like much, but I actually don’t like seafood and I only love coming to Red Lobster for the biscuits. And the music… good grief! At one point, I was pretty sure I heard Kanye West on the radio pumped through the restaurant. I generally associate Red Lobster with older people and I can’t imagine them having requested that crappy music.

Not a big chain restaurant person but this is the place for seafood. Service is excellent and I really appreciate that the servers are patient with my father, like a lot of seniors it takes him some time to get his words out. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always delicious.

This is a relative new restaurant(3 yrs old?) and it still looks brand new as it did the day it open. No sign of any wear or tear, very clean and beautifully furnished. Even though the location at River & Oracle has been remodeled there is a huge difference between these two locations. This one is much nicer all around. We started with a boiled shrimp cocktail. Good thing they only come with six or I would eat so many it would be my whole meal. Their current promotions are all these Crabfest Specials. So I ordered the Snow Crabs and Crab Linguini Alfredo. I’ve eaten plenty of soft shell crab and other crab casseroles while living in New Orleans for 20 plus years but I don’t think I’ve ever tried snow crabs before. These things were great! Easy to crack open and pull out all the meat in one stroke. They tasted so good I immediately wanted to order another half pound. The linguini Alfredo was a little rich for me. I knew it would be no matter who prepares it but I was able to eat at least half of it and make sure I got all the crab meat. It came with a garden salad that was too big and hard to stop eating because it was very good. It had a lot of chopped ingredients. I can never finish a salad and have room for an entrée so I have to eat half salads all the time. My wife had the peppercorn steak and garlic shrimp. It came with mashed potatoes and an additional side. She chose asparagus which is a little extra but she loves it and will always order this if available. She said the steak was cooked perfectly as was the asparagus. The mashed potatoes added just the right amount of creaminess to complete the meal. Her entrée also came with a salad and she chose the Caesar salad. While she said it was ok, she felt it was missing the dressing. There were some shavings of parmesan cheese but the salad lacked flavor. Probably a good thing because she wouldn’t have been able to eat all of the entrée if she ate the salad. The cheddar cheese garlic biscuits are good. But be careful not to fill up on these. Save your appetite for the entrée. Just writing this review is making me hungry with my mouth watering for more snow crab. I’m thinking about going back there again this evening for dinner after just eating dinner here two nights ago.

Not much fish or fun. Nice looking steak house like interior, higher end looking than I expected. My first surprise was not much fish on menu, especially if you don’t want yours fried. We both tried the flounder, an unusual item in the southwest. My was two small pieces served with roasted vegetables. Small fish portion but not bad almost on par with frozen filets from Costco but the roasted veggies were not roasted and lacked flavor. My wife had the stuffed flounder, same fish pieces but truly awful, inedible cream of a stuffing. No one seemed to be having fun here especially the waitress. Nice facility, dismal dinning.

The cheese buscuits are to die for… could just eat them and give up the food! My son had the burger of all things and LOVED it! My shrimp was just ok and the service was almost non exsistant.

Beer — Okay, it’s a chain but don’t you still have some choices in what kind of beer to offer. Fat Tire was about the best they could do. And not much besides. Food — Okay, we’re in Arizona but I’ve been going to Red Lobster in Arizona a very long time and the seafood has seriously declined in quality. At least at this restaurant — I can get better at Costco. Why don’t they? Service — Okay, we went for an early dinner but four or five employees were draped across the benches outside when we arrived — obviously the next shift — but where’s the manager that needs to tell employees this is not acceptable. We get inside and the place is really kinda disgusting — I don’t want to say dirty — but there were crumbs everywhere — on the bar — on the edges of the bar — all over the floor. Everywhere. Come on — have some pride. Reminded me of how Ruby Tuesdays looked one day when I went in. .. just before they went out of business. Get those employees inside and get that place cleaned up. Too many good restaurants in Tucson not to bring your A game.

I know this is a chain, but when I’m craving seafood, this is one of the first places I think of where I know I’ll get exactly what I’m expecting to taste. And oh, you buttery biscuits, how wonderfully addicting you are. I agree with Britannia R. that this is what a «textbook Red Lobster should be.» I have been to other Red Lobsters in the area and this one is cleaner, has a more relaxing atmosphere, the food was perfect, and the waiter was spot on. My waiter was attentive, helpful in describing the specials for the month, and never left me wondering where he had gone off to. I ordered the grilled shrimp and ½ lbs of snow crab with green beans and rice, and it came with a salad, and those delicious biscuits, all for under $ 20. Depending on what you order this place could end up being expensive, but for if you come during one of their awesome seafood specials you will leave satisfied without breaking the bank.

Go here with my teenager quite a bit… like he deserves it right? :p Okay, we went for the«endless shrimp» and as far as that goes, we were not disappointed. The shrimp was indeed, endless. However we make the same mistake everyone does, we ate the salad, cole slaw, and biscuts before the shrimp arrived… brilliant! The issue that we had was more on the service side, the young man had way to many tables to deal with, couldnt remember what food went to which table, and lack of management help on the floor makes it worse… trust me. I know.
