Love this place! Happy upbeat, wonderful people. They work hard to give back to the community. The food they serve reminds me of my moms cooking. They have wonderful home baked goods. They have a DJ on the 2nd Friday of the month. The employees really know how to have fun. You don’t meet good hearted people like this often. You need to check this place out!

Love the owners and family. I think they have fantastic hamburgers. And their fries and ranch dressing are outrageous. I think that the quality of the ingredients in their food is what keeps me coming back.

Great breakfast restaurant at reasonable prices. The day we were there everyone who worked there was family. Our waitress had the most welcoming smile and she and the owner were extremely friendly. We began the breakfast sharing a home made cinnamon role that was out of sight delicious. Our eggs were cooked like we like them. The hash browns were brown like we like them and the pancakes were just right. The coffee was delicious and the cup was kept full and hot. The restaurant was tastefully decorated with license plates from about every state along the border. I’m from Illinois and I was surprised to see several old plates that didn’t have«Land of Lincoln» on them. There was even a plate from the war era made of cardboard and covered with cellophane. We found out that the owner is a former grade school teacher who has been running the place for about 3 years. It is easy to tell that she and her family love working at the restaurant. It doesn’t get any more«down home» than this.

I came here for breakfast. The restaurant was just about empty. The waitress was pleasant, but seemed really confused about the menu. I ordered my breakfast with eggs over-medium and received an omelet instead. Given the earlier confusion, I chose not to request a replacement. The omelet was pretty sad. It looked like it was made in one of those hinged as-seen-on-TV omelet pans. It was overcooked and hard, and the cheese inside wasn’t melted — well, more accurately, it had been melted, but was starting to firm up. The chorizo was okay though. Not the worst breakfast I’ve ever had, but not good enough for a return visit.

Ok. I am in this place every weekend at least once. Food remains very good. Coffee can’t be beat and refills are always on time. The cinnamon toast pancakes are worth any drive you need to make. Wait staff is what you would expect from family. Prices are fair and reasonable for the quality. Please continue to support this great business. Car show on the 24th.

This place is a hidden treasure. I tried this place out with my mom and I was immediately hooked on the cool and interesting décor all over the walls from the past. The service was very friendly and the food came out fast. I ate the cinnamon roll pancakes and wow, my tastebuds were amazed. I recommend everyone try this restaurant because who doesn’t love a tasteful breakfast to start the day.

When we first walked in we were greeted by a very nice woman. Pancakes are good. Biscuits and Gravy are pretty good as well.

Staff is extremely friendly and the owner Cathy is full of charisma and warmth. They excel at breakfast items, breads and desserts(breads and pies made in house). The cinnamon rolls are delicious. They are open for dinner as well but we’ve never been. Ambiance is casual, welcoming and cheery. I think they have a lot of regulars which gives it a local community vibe. Great place if you are not in a hurry and want to take your time, there are puzzles and games, a separate room with a big screen television and couch, and ping pong tables outside. Their early bird special is a great deal too. Apparently sometimes they host car shows and have live music too. Nice!

I don’t understand how anyone could not love this place. Great food, staff, and prices. They even make some of the breads in house. Even the best of places can have an off day, but I have had only the best of experiences here.

How do they stay in business! Burned bacon, burned pancakes, under cooked eggs. Upon re order, still inedible. Had to ask for syrup 4 times. Coffee seldom refilled and other drinks went dry, never to be refilled. $ 38.00 for four. We were repeat customers, never again. Go to Jerry Bobs. Much more predictable.

Possibly one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. Homemade peach Danish on fresh croissant bread melted in my mouth. Biscuits and heavy, eggs, cinnamon pancakes… My family and I tried many different meals this morning and each one was different and incredible in its own right. Kids and I are stuffed! Yes, the portions are on the small side, but the prices are fair and they offer many sides, so just order more! My family and I are like kings for under $ 40. The service was above and beyond. I have no idea why there are some negative reviews here on Unilocal… maybe some dramatic change has happened here in the past few weeks because my experience was incredible(and I’m very picky!).

Not good. If all you want is a lackluster breakfast, good. If you want more, go elsewhere. Slow service — and we were only the 2nd group in there! Dingy and dirty. I won’t be going back.

Small portions. Out of a party of 4 people 2 liked the food and 2 did not. Food did not arrive all at the same time(several minutes later). Long wait for the food from the kitchen and they were not busy. Located in the corner of the strip mall between the animal clinic and Asian restaurant.

Great breakfast. The cinnamon roll pancakes are amazing. Everything is homemade. The breads and rolls and pies are especially tasty. I would also recommend the burger and fries as well. Very good food. Great people who work there as well. I would avoid the«church crowd» rush as it gets busy on Sundays. But they open early so you can avoid them.

Came in for lunch, were one of three tables being served. The restaurant was eerily quiet, no music or anything playing. My friend and I each ordered salads and a beverage, mine being Diet Coke. When it was brought out, it tasted watery and had no carbonation. I caught the waiter and mentioned that there may be something wrong with the machine. Sat for almost 10 minutes with no water or anything(and you know, it was like 107 out so I was a little parched) until she came back and said, yes, the machine was broken. I’m not going to fault the restaurant for a malfunction, but with so few patrons, it shouldn’t have taken that long to at least address the issue. The salad I ordered was described on the menu as blackened chicken with black beans, pico del gallo, and corn chips with a ranch chipotle dressing. What arrived(at least 20 minutes after ordering) was a bowl of spring lettuce mix with a black chicken breast on it(tough enough to tile a roof with), some chip pieces, and a few kidney beans sprinkled in. I had to ask for pico and dressing. Didn’t want to fight over the beans. There was at least some species of bean down there. There was nothing to rave about here except that I can say the place seemed clean. But I will not be back.

Remember real home cooked food? You will actually taste freshly made food here. Its not a franchise, but rather owned by by two people that have high standards. We went for breakfast — the eggs were sooo good. Fresh and creamy. Potatoes were real potatoes etc. There is a reasonable«Senior» menu for $ 4.25. The menu is flexible with«Build your own Breakfast» and«Build your own Omelet» options. The lunch menu is just as impressive withe«Build a Burger», sandwiches, home made soups etc. Dinners will be served starting in August. All items are available all day(That’s refreshing). To sum it up, food and pricing are good, home cooking is a palpable quality — it’s worth sampling. Its in a strip mall, on the NW corner of Ranch Vistoso and Oracle Road, in Ora Valley. Enjoy
