I always like going here, it’s one of the better fast food venues in Oroville. The food is fast and tasty. Their dipping sauces are full of flavor and their biscuits are the best!!! But sometimes the chicken tenders are a bit chewy.

I came in on a Friday afternoon and it really wasn’t that bad for Dine in, Drive thru was more busy …
I knew I wanted to try the $ 5 box. You get 2 pieces of chicken, two sides and a biscuit. Customer service was friendly and I got my food within a few minutes. One thing I thought was cool was the music, nice background while eating. I’m pretty sure it was all cajun Bayou style music!
I was surprised how big the chicken pieces were, two big ones in my box, light and dark. I picked both Spicy chicken. My sides were alright, I prefer the mashed potatoes n gravy the best! The biscuits are always DELICIOUS, definitely my favorite thing at Popeye’s.
$ 5 box was such a great deal.

I really like Popeyes chicken! It is much better than the KFC that used to occupy this location. Service here is usually good and the help is friendly. I went to the drive-​thru last night to get chicken to take home. The cashier said it would be about 4 minutes and asked me to park out front and they would bring it out to me. I waited 10 minutes and decided to go inside. They were very apologetic and insisted on giving me a refund along with twice as much chicken as I had ordered. Everyone makes occasional mistakes so I was pleased that they made every effort to make it right.

I dont know about this place. But this place gives me the creeps. I have better experience with other Popeye’s Chicken venue. But this, I dont know…
Anyways, awesome chicken. Thank you girl. Everyone here is great. Cleanliness kinda needs work in the bathroom. Thats the only reason why I gave such a low rating, wouldve given a 1, but I will give a 2 star rating to be fair. Namm sayinn.

The food is good. But I think they undercook their chicken. My husband got sick after eating here twice.

I am pissed! We sat in line with 4 screamin kids for over 30 mins. When we FINALLY got to order we were told that they were out of every seafood option i wanted. So we both got the 9pc combo meals with SWEET TEA. And a side of Popshrimp, The menu was kind of like a In-​N-​Out one i think since i saw no crawfish or half of the other options people have said they got. It came out to like $ 17. They were also out of cups so they gave us a large (score right… not so fast) We ordered SWEET TEA… yea We got bland water downed (no ice) plain tea… Ok fine. w/​e We opened our food to dig in and found that there was less than a full container of popshrimp It looked like they were pouring them in and then forgot mid-​pour! Closed it up, whelp there ya go! –_​– THEN… I was thinking man… $ 17 for this dinky box? So i counted the chicken inside, supposed to be 9 right? There was 6 in BOTH boxes! … Ok. wow. um I am going to call because there was a line out the door and even if i went back i am 100% sure we would not be seen within the next hour. So i tried to call 332‑8333 It said d/​c. So i called the «free food» 1800 on the reciept? d/​c!!! So THEN i called the listed #on another site 332−8372… It went to a personal answering machine… Are you effing kidding me?! So i drove home to paradise. i am so pissed off right now. I will NOT be back.

The happiest day was the day Popeye’s took over KFC at this current location. KFC was completely awful and a disgrace to fried chicken. Popeye’s is not only delicious, but they offer new and tasty menu options like fried crawfish, etc. I’ve eaten here twice since they opened and I really enjoyed the food.

The party is soon going to be over for people going to this place! The white chicken I got in a meal was dried out, chewy and overcooked. On top of it, I got the spicy one, and it was rather bland with a hint of cayenne. The biscuit was way over salted, and probably had 2 days sodium allowance, and the coleslaw yet chilled and crunchy, was very sweet. I wonder how much corn syrup was in that?
When it gets down to it, factory farmed fast food just is not really good for you and here it included taste.

Messed up my order Last night after waiting forever to get it. They replaced it no prob only after I was Across town and home.

Fine for a fast food joint in Oroville. Karen the manager was very nice! Messed up my order 2x’s so we will see if they make it right.
Update: They fixed my order with no problem. I will eat here again.
You can eat at Denny’s here in town for about the same price.
