Typical scam. Every Valvoline shop I’ve been to says the same thing. This includes shops in MA and NY. …Serpentine belt needs replacement, transmission fluid is burnt and should be clear, needs replacement, etc. My car was fully serviced recently so I knew it was B.S. The most obvious part of the scam wasoneof the technicians said he could replace my serpentine belt for a discount and for «cash». Not only are they ripping customers off with unnecessary upsells but the employees are ripping off their employer.

I don’t know why I keep giving this company second chances. Last week, they charged me for items I did not authorize nor want. In all my visits, I never received a charge for special canister oil filter or extra oil, yet this time it was an addition. When I called, the person said too bad. Really? Look at my record. Never needed extra oil before???
