Worst experience we’ve had at a restaurant in years — 3 tables being used in the whole restaurant and it still took us over an hour to get a salad and omelette — kids sing and dancing in the kitchen — servers outside smoking and they mopped the floors so that they where slippery and dangerous to walk on — we will not be going back to IHOP again — stay away at all costs

Terrible terrible place. Portions were half of what they were suppose to be the waitress was terrible. Don’t go there ever you will be very dissappointed. I go to ihop all the time and this was a new location for me and it is not what I expected and not only my food was like that all four of us were not happy about it. There are better ihops than this one.

First time to this IHop. Came with my husband and my two children ages 10&7. We were seated right away. The restaurant was pretty busy. The waitress came over right away & asked what we would like to drink and brought them fast. She asked if we were ready to order but we needed time. After 10 minutes I had to flag her down to take our order. She apologized saying she was the only server, which I was surprised about since it was busy and dinner time. The food took a bit and everything was ok. Not fantastic, but it is IHop. When we left the cashier gave the kids balloons. Kids are free. I felt service could have been better if there were more servers, otherwise a good stop.

Let me start out by saying that we frequently go to this location and never have had a problem but tonight was terrible. We walked in and we were seated and told that Sienna will be our server. We waited at least 10 minutes before someone other than Sienna took our drink order. The drinks came but we still waited for Sienna to take our order. My husband did notice that a young lady was talking to a group of young men at a table. Yes, that was our server Sienna who didn’t bother to even take our order as walked in the back. Needless to say we eventually got our order and then our food after about 50 minutes. We go here because the service is fast and our 3 year old granddaughter likes going here too. The table next to us were also upset about their food and wanted to get a discount.

Meh. Overall, not the BEST experience I’ve had at an IHOP. The last time I’d been to an IHOP was back when I was in grade school, so about ten years ago. I come back expecting amazing pancakes and really good food, but I wasn’t very impressed. I ordered the apple cinnamon pancakes with the eggs-sausage-hashbrowns thing on the side, and had water to drink. Let me break down what I DIDN’T like: 1. The cinnamon apple pancakes were regular pancakes with a tiny amount of fried apples on top. The apples weren’t very hot, could’ve used at least twice as much cinnamon, and weren’t very gooey. You want fried apples? Go to Cracker Barrel. You want cinnamon apple pancakes? Go to the Egg Yolk Café in West Chicago. You want mediocre pancakes you could’ve made at home, with a little bit of apple pie filling on top? Make it at home and save a trip. 2. The syrups, while unique, weren’t very enthralling. They weren’t warm(There seemed to be a trend of «not very warm, not very fresh» going on,) and the strawberry one tasted so artificial, I’m half certain I know what it’s like to eat a fake strawberry better than I do a real one. The blueberry was the only decent syrup. The regular syrup was hard to swallow and I just didn’t really care for the butter pecan syrup. 3. The scrambled eggs were too small. That’s probably just a preference on my part, but I’ve had better scrambled eggs. Kinda meh, and kinda small. Same goes for the hashbrowns: They were weirdly compacted together like they were stale, weren’t as hot as I’d have liked, and needed salt. The sausage was fine, though. 4. Our waitress brought a lot of glasses of water without taking the old ones back promptly, so we had a couple glasses going on at the same time. Not the biggest nuisance ever, but kind of annoying. Then this is just a fault of this particular IHOP: It’s impossible to get INTO the damn building. We had trouble finding the exit to get over there, and it was weird trying to find the parking lot entrance. I’d rather go to an IHOP with a more easily accessible parking lot from the road, not from some weird turnsy-roundy back way. The good was that the whipped cream was amazing(but I would’ve liked more,) we got a lot of waters and our waitress was kind, and the woman at the front desk was very nice and smelled really good. That’s a weird compliment, yeah, but she did. She smelled like shampoo. She even gave me the name of her body mist. Score! So overall, it wasn’t an outright BAD experience, but it wasn’t what I was hoping for. Ah well. C’est la gerre.

The worst breakfast I’ve ever had… overpriced or under served which ever way you want to look at it. The bacon was cooked flat it looked like the set a block on it the pancakes were rubberized the hash browns were two shades from blackened do your self a favor go elsewhere find a Dennys or go down the street to Grandma’s Table

I am NOT a breakfast person, but my wife loves this meal. So, after church it was the best place for her to get pancakes and an omelet and for me to get lunch. Normally, I worry about going to the HoP, but today it was wonderful! Noe, our server, was awesome, and the manager friendly and present for guests and staff! The food was hot and tasty, and we will definitely be back!

I almost never review chain restaurants. I mean, who doesn’t know what they are going to get when they hit up the McGreaseburger or Taco Smell? I HAD to fire off a quick review of this IHOP, however, completely due to the service we received from Peppir C. This lady was the epitome of perfect service. She was attentive, knowledgable, and a ray of sunshine in an otherwise mediocre restaurant. Seriously, it is worth it to come to this location to eat if Peppir is working!

So they seat us & left us for 25 minutes, that is when the host noticed we have not been helped yet he gets us out beverages & takes out order. We have waters & coffees but no silverware to stir the coffee… & now the host is nowhere to be seen. We have been here about a hour now. I could have made this meal in less time & for less money, with a whole lot more love that we found at this IHOP. Can’t say I’m surprised, I told my dad we should not go here. I knew better but now I REALLLY know. They food servings were ridiculously small & they forgot the jelly with our toast. Good thing this is Oswego & everyone is so basic, they would not last long in a progressive area.

Q: what’s a bunny rabbit’s favorite breakfast restaurant? A: you guys are smart, figure it out. Caty D and myself were craving morning fare, so despite a throng of Sunday churchgoers, we opted to come here. After a 10 – 15 minute wait(which could’ve been much longer were it not for quick turnover of tables), we were seated and ordered up. Their toasted marshmallow hot chocolate($ 2.49) was infinitely delicious and cost less than my glass of milk($ 2.69). I had the strawberry-and-vanilla stuffed toast combo(filled with yummy cream cheese) that came with 2 eggs, 2 strips of bacon and hash browns for $ 8.99. Caty D got a savory item that had avocado, turkey, eggs, and white cheddar sauce atop Brioche bread. I’ve had the stuffed french toast before and it’s insanely good, although my hash browns were pretty undercooked. There’s a metric asston of items to pick from on the IHOP menu, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. Sadly, only the photo of her breakfast developed, mine got washed out completely. Bread = 4 Circuses = 3.5 Service was fine; our waitress mentioned that if we completed the survey on the back of the receipt, they’d knock off the cost of 1 drink at the register, which I thought was pretty nice. Food came out fairly quickly and the host(s) seemed on top of things. Noms were satisfying, I’d return to this location.

Excellent breakfast menu; we had(free) coupons, but they never hesitated to accept it. Scrambled eggs, sausages, hash browns– the usual great stuff!

I love going to this IHOP late at night after I get out of work with my room mate. Our server Patrick always treat us like old friends and welcomes us. Its as good as it gets from a chain restaurant.

I had just got over the flu needed to get out and have some real food. The wait staff was nice and they were very courteous. The only issue I had was this sound coming from the back kitchen. Very hard to enjoy my food with some loud sound like a timer come from the kitchen. All in all my food was pretty good.

This is going to be short. Simply the worst service I have ever experienced in my life. Rude, slow, incompetent, and every time you ask for basic items, like an extra napkin, you be left feeling like you are the biggest pain in the a** in the world. Never again would I subject myself to this lousy down right disgusting wait staff again. If i could give them zero stars, I would.

While IHOP never had the best breakfest the one thing I can say about them is you know what to expect. I found this location to be much better then the one on Route 59 because of the shorter wait time. I find myself learning way to much about peoples poor shower habits while being cramed in at the one on 59. That isn’t the case here. Seems the waiting area is bigger and much more open. The food here tastes the same and the service is what you would expect. One thing I really like about IHOP is the Chocolate Batter pancakes. They are pure genius. Chocolate in every bite. Top them off with Whip cream and they are perfect. I also like the pot of coffee on the table here. No waiting for the waitress to see you have a empty cup. All and all a great place for a weekend breakfest.

I found this IHOP to be the better ones in the area. I was here on a Saturday(usually hell day for breakfast time) and the staff was exceptionally friendly. Our waitress even asked if I wanted a to-go cup for my coffee. I’ve never been asked that before. The whole restaurant was clean… even the restrooms. Can’t say that for many places. The food was typical IHOP fare. No fine dining but it satisfied my pancake craving. The one knock on them was that the food took awhile to get to my table. But it was such a relief to go to a clean and quiet restaurant that I’ll take that over a slow kitchen any day.
