Below average cooking… I was skeptical when I saw that there wast much good business in the area… I should’ve trusted my instincts! The Crab Rangoon had a lot of onion ions and I could see the seafood so that was a bonus but no saving grace. No comparison to the one downtown Aurora on River.

Even though they advertise no MSG upon request, today we were told anything with soy sauce will contain MSG. Unfortunately, I am extremely allergic to MSG, so they have lost a customer.

Well after living in the area for almost two years, I took my first bite of un authentic chinese food. The food was ok but they need to lay off of the salt. Also, the portions are extremely small and way over priced for the area. Out of everything I ate, the house fried rice was the best but the Mongolian beef was so salty. It made my eyes squint everytime I took a bite. Lastly, the egg rolls were ok but a little dried out and the sweet and sour was horrible. It reminded me of sugar and water mixed together. I probably would not recommend this place but might give it another shot as I don’t have a choice.

I’m not saying the food here was bad it just tastes very… different than what I’m used to back on the east coast. My quest for good Chinese in the Montgomery, Oswego Yorkville area continues.

Ordered about a week ago for delivery. The menu choices cover the wide variety of flavors; the taste is good but unfortunately not the same as my previous place in Shorewood. Hard to make the change after a good number of years. New to the area, so the second try needed to sell me. It didn’t. Delivery is excellent, food came really hot and ready to serve and timing as promised. Definitely worth a try to see if it’s a match to your palate.

Yesterday was my first time ordering food from this place. The only reason we went there was because they sell tapioca smoothies. We walked in and the girl at the counter greeted us right away, not with a «hello» or «hi», instead she said«are you ready to order» the counter help isn’t very friendly. I proceeded with my order of two smoothies and chicken fried rice. They were out of the tapioca balls for the smoothies… bummer…that’s why we came. But the rice was good and the portion size is nice. The dine-in area isn’t very nice, I’m guessing most of their business is take out and delivery.

I only order food from here when I’m severely hungover or drunk because it’s a little below average. It also usually takes way too long for them to deliver… like an hour-hour and a half. You’re better off going and getting frozen egg rolls at Walmart or making a trip down rt.34 for better Chinese options!

I eat lunch here frequently and the food is always excellent! My favorite dishes are the kung pao shrimp and the shrimp kow. The vegetables are always fresh and yummy! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I have a gluten sensitivity and they have modified dishes for my allergy. The service is very fast. It typically takes 5 – 10 minutes from the time I order until my food is ready. I’m sure the average drive-thru wait is longer! Also… You can’t beat their prices, especially at lunch!

Hit and miss is the story of New China Hut but I kept ordering delivery from them because their egg rolls are so good. Until tonight. Of the four egg rolls I ordered two of them were burned. Not just burned a little but enough that whoever packed them had to have seen them and sent them anyway. I’m posting a picture to show the unbelievable lack of caring. This is unacceptable. Especially when you can’t get any satisfaction from calling them. I’m sorry NCH, you’re off my list.

Decided to give another shot… Food is ok but hard to overlook the $.30/sweet and sour sauce charge. Judging by the amount of cameras aimed at their registers there are money and trust issues. Last time here!

This place has been hit or miss for years. The last year has been a miss. First off the inside looks dilapidated and dirty. Which on it own is ok but the food has been terrible, soggy over seasoned

This place is decent. The poor reviews are a little harsh. Service was great– we ordered pick up on a Friday night– ready in 15 minutes, and workers were super nice. Chicken Lo Mein was a little too mushy and lacked flavor, but with some soy sauce it was not bad. Plus the portion was HUGE. Cashew chicken was excellent! It was flavorful, but it is listed as «spicy», and it was mildly spicy– if you like extra spicy, you might want to request that. Crab rangoon was good(and FREE cause our order was over $ 20!) and the watermelon smoothie was good too. The smoothies are ice/water/fruit smoothies, NOT yogurt smoothies, so I could see how a kid might not like them, but I thought it was really good. Overall, I will definitely order from here again.

Worst lo mein I’ve ever had, which is super disappointing. The noodles were over cooked and had hardly any flavor. To make matters worse, I brought my boyfriends son who ordered a smoothie and he said it was terrible before we even tasted the food. We will not be going back.

This is the worst Chinese takeout in the area. We ordered green curry chicken and the«potatoes» were crinkle cut french fries. Yes… They actually put frozen french fries in the food. We also ordered Hunan chicken and it was in what was probably leftover sweet and sour sauce with other spices added trying to tame the sweetness. All in all this food was just plain gross. I would rate a frozen Chinese dinner higher.

This place used to be good, but over the last year we’ve had 3 bad meals and todays was our last. While unpacking there was a little bug of some sort that hopped out of the bag, upon further inspection we didn’t see anymore. I had sweet and sour chicken that tasted old is the best way to describe it, completely tasteless fried rice with it in the lunch box. My husband had Mongolian beef that was just ok. I hope I don’t get sick from the chicken. Two lunch specials and an order of egg rolls were $ 17.85, a bit pricey for bad Chinese.

Average food. Didn’t have a good or bad experience, just neutral all the way around.

The best chinese food around… they have cantonese noodles that are fantastic. My favorite place in Oswego!

I don’t know what happened here, but I really enjoyed the food until about 2 months or so ago I ordered some food and found small pieces of wood in the rice. Thought it was a fluke so the next time I ordered, a couple of weeks later, the same thing happened. Probably not going back

I love this place. It was out of commission for several months due to a huge fire in the wok area and I started to go insane from lack of Chinese food. There aren’t really any other good options around. Delivery is always fast and hot. I’ve really never been disappointed by any of their dishes. The full size portions are large, you could easily feed 2 people with each dish. The«dining area» isn’t really much to talk about — just a few tiny tables. This is definitely a carry out or delivery kind of place.

One of the only places in the area, and it’s just that. One of the only places in the area. Not great, but it delivers. The little Asian guy who delivers is pretty cool. So tip him good.
