Pizza Cucina

I had a craving for double dough pizza and I was not disappointed. The dough was tender and chewy. The sauce had great flavor and was just the right amount so as to not overpower the rest of the toppings. The Italian sausage had a good spice blend that complimented the pizza perfectly. The only thing missing was a side of marinara sauce to dip the braided dough in… the tiramisu was a great ending to a great meal. The flavors were on par and it was very fresh… my only complaint is that the lady fingers could have been soaked just a tad bit longer some bites were a little dryer than others. Overall this is an authentic pizzeria with an enticing menu. Will definitely put this on my list of regulars. Kid and husband approved as well!

Pizza was good. I really like their vodka cream sauce! Service was good. My husband really liked the fish tank. We’ll definitely be back again.

Nice family-​owned pizza joint. Plenty of space. Good for families and kids. Just not my favorite kind of pizza. Don’t get me wrong, the sauce was good, the toppings fresh, but I care a lot about crust and their double crust wasn’t very flavorful and just too carby. We ordered the colossal. Maybe will try a thin crust next time instead.

They served us the best pizza we have had in a long, long time. The sauce & seasoning are perfect. The ingredients are fresh & they do not scrimp on them. Also had the Antipasto Salad which is a very generous serving containing the freshest of ingredients. The atmosphere & is wonderful & the staff welcoming & friendly.

Just had my dads 70^th birthday party there and it was wonderful! Great food and atmosphere! Staff wonderful. We have been going there for years.

This was our second time ordering from Pizza Cucina. We decided to go with one of the specialty pizzas. So glad we did. The Cucina Colossal was a pizza to be reckoned with. It was great. Heavy with all the ingredients. No skimping here. We also ordered a side cheese pizza and it was also great. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful! We will definitely be back!

Yummy thin crust and nice fresh tomatoes madd this first time delivery order really hit the spot. We will be sure to order again. Great service on the phone too.

I won’t order any other pizza when I’m in Oswego. I called in my order 10 min before closing time… I honestly didn’t know they closed at 10 PM, I thought they closed at midnight on Saturdays! Oops, BUT the person who took my call not only entertained me while taking my order, BUT delivered it WITH a 6 dollar off coupon. Totally worth it, not only because of the amazing food, but because he’s a people person. I was introduced to Pizza Cucina when I was working at the ⁵⁄₃ bank right next to them and I’ve stopped in at min once a week there because their food is great. Usually on Wednesdays when they have their half off pizzas. Tanya is amazing! I love her! :) Thank you again for making us our pizza so close to 10 pm!

I wanted to believe the reviews were true, I wanted this to be something more than your standard lowbrow stale ingredient pizzas you find around colleges and well, Oswego. Sadly, it was a disappointment. The pizza was just meh, Now I’m not saying it was awful, you could eat it, but there was no flavor, the sauce was too acidic and way too much making it overpower all the ingredients, the cheese tasted processed, and the toppings, first barely there, and secondly did not taste fresh. The dough, thin crust but wasn’t cooked at a high enough temperature so it got chewy and bland.
The wings on the other hand… pretty good actually. Very crispy and great spice. If they took more time with flavoring their pizza the way they do the wings, they might be able to salvage something. It just, doesn’t seem that they care about the pizza craft and are just there to be there and the results mediocre at best. I really don’t think I’ll be back, at least if it is my decision.

It is nice to eat at a restaurant that prepares food with fresh ingredients and pride! Pasta dishes/​sauces are all wonderful and prices are extremely modest. This might be the only restaurant in Oswego that does not serve prepackaged overpriced food items. The pizza is great too!

I was disappointed when I moved to Oswego seemed every pizzeria was Mediocre. I’m glad I found this place!!!

I have ordered here in The past without issue but tonight a 2 hour wait for delivery of food that’s cold and burnt is a little insane. If you eat here make sure it’s carry out.

There was a miscommunication with our order so we ended up sitting around for about 50 minutes for our order. Fortunately the owner was really nice and sorry about it and gave us a credit for next time around and a couple free pops. The pizza was really delicious so I’d order from here again, especially because the customer service is good.

Wednesday, 40% off pizza. Oh my.
This is good pizza, best in Oswego/​Montgomery area. Truly, the toppings are plentiful, the crust is good.
Get the thin crust and be happy.

Came here based on all the positive reviews I read on Unilocal and overall I left very satisfied.
They have a small «seat yourself» dining area with paper menus on each table. Our server was also the person running the counter, so she was very busy and not as accessible as you would expect, but still did a heck of a job.
Ordered a large thin crust with sausage and black olives and an order of breadsticks. The pizza was full of flavor and the crust was very crisp. Their breadsticks were flat, but also full of flavor and there at least 8 with the order.
The best part is that on Wednesdays they have a special where they take 40% off any pizza ordered. Even without the Wednesday discount, the prices are pretty generous and the portions are exceptional. I look forward to coming back.

The pizza is excellent… if you can actually get it delivered in a timely manner. Their delivery service is horrible which is why I’m only giving 3 stars. They say within an hour but it’s taken an hour and a half and 2 hours on separate occasions. The pizza wasn’t even lukewarm when it arrived and the garlic bread was cold and hard. When I call it’s always some excuse about traffic or driver got backed up. Once, ok. multiple times, it’s a problem. One of the drivers acts mad or inconvenienced whenever he shows up, but the others are nice. I highly recommend carry out or dine in! The thin crust pizza is excellent! It has a delicious sweetness to the sauce, and they give you lots of toppings and cheese. Every Wednesday, pizzas are 40% off. The food is 5 stars, but the delivery service needs work!

For the most part, pizza is pizza. You can get it anywhere and more often than not, it’s pretty good. I love pizza, so I’m admittedly not too picky on where it comes from. However, pizza from Pizza Cucina is different and that makes it stand out from the others. There is something about the sauce that sets it apart. My personal favorite is their stuffed pizza (there’s more wonderful sauce!), but you can’t go wrong with their thin crust or double-​dough.
My wife and I don’t agree a whole lot on food choices, but this is by far our favorite pizza in the area.
I can’t really speak to their other food as I’ve never had anything else (and never plan to), but if their pizza is any indication on how their other food is, it’s probably pretty good. Honestly, why bother, though? Get the pizza!

Ok, so I was looking for a good pizza place and ran across this on Unilocal,saw only 8 reviews and 5 full stars. My first thought was that these were some nice employee reviews to build up the business (being the skeptic that I am) and decided to order to either bash the business on writing their own reviews for being marginal at best or praise them along with the others.
As you can see I chose to praise. This is some of the best pizza I have eaten in Chicago and I grew up here. For a short period of time I even worked for a local pizza place that was voted #1 in its area by reviewers. So I can safely say I know what good pizza places do. I have to say this one hits on all cylinders.
First time I ordered I got a BBQ trio, which is called an S.O.B. at the more chain pizza places. I ordered with the double crust (not quite pan, not quite thin) and me and my wife loved it. Even reheated well, which you won’t find with pizza places that use cheap ingredients. The price was nothing unusual or noticeably high, and it was really an excellent pizza.
Within a week I ordered again, this time a chicken alfredo pizza (having trouble with regular pizza sauce, must be getting old) and it was equally as good.
Had the chance to speak with the owner, real nice guy and knows his stuff. I highly recommend eating here… repeatedly
