I had such a great experience at this office. The girl who helped me was so polite and patient with me. She offered to help me find some frames and took an hour out of her time to give me choices. The store became busy and she always made sure to come back to continue the hunt. I extremely appreciated that she was able to give me a explanation of the breakdown for glasses. It’s my first time needing a progressive lens. And she explained how it works and what to expect. Overall it was great service. I’m glad I was recommend by a friend. I’ll be coming back next year!

If I could give it a zero I would. Very poor customer service, I spent over 800 $ and thats the bogo offer. I was walking around looking and trying on frames when a lady came up to me, being very pushy I might add, I had a set of frames on and she says ohhh those look very good on you. to make a long story short, I ended up with glasses I don’t like and won’t wear. I sent them and email asking for an exchange and they told me no. I just wanna know what do they stand to lose if they do an exchange? They still have my money, I just want different frames. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I went here last year. The doctor was okay but the staff were not. The heavy-set gal that seemed to maybe be a manager was down right rude. They made me wait for months while trying to fit me for contacts. They never called me to keep me up to date with the progress. It was terrible service. I finally got my prescription and went back to my previous doctor 25 miles away.

Went in this year for an exam. Great experience again. Exam was only $ 19! The doctor was superb and I needed my glasses asap. They didn’t have my lens so they needed to order them. They were able to put a rush on them and I received them in 3 days. I will still recommend this place to family and friends.

Yeah, going back to our private practice. This place was much closer to home, so we cut corners and now regret it. Poor craftsmanship on the glasses. Nose piece snapped off, and of course we didn’t have their insurance. Lens popped out soon after leaving with the new pair. Much prefer a private practice where you get better quality and service

My husband and I made an appointment to use our new vision benefits and were incredibly disappointed in their lack of knowledge and customer service. The insurance was new to us and the way I understood it would cover an exam for both glasses and contacts. The woman who took our insurance information was rude and did not explain that the insurance only covered the exam for either glasses or contacts but not both until after I had the exam and was then trying to charge me $ 59.99 for the contact exam. I explained to her that if she had explained this to me prior to my exam I would have said no to the contacts. She was rude and very loud and insistent that the service had already been rendered and I would be forced to pay for it. Needless to say we paid for it and left to buy our glasses elsewhere where we were not treated horribly. We were not going to pay Visionworks one penny more than we absolutely had to. We went to For Eyes(also in Oswego) and we had a very pleasant experience. I will never again go to Visionworks! Even though they have more frames to choose from the hassle from the staff and being treated like garbage is definitely not worth it.

I went to Visionworks because the eye doctor I normally go to couldn’t get me in for awhile and I needed contacts ASAP. The eye doctor I saw was nice enough, and the exam itself was to the point… however, the reason why I give this place 1 star is because the girls that work there are rude beyond belief and sooooo sneaky with trying to upsell you. The $ 99 deal is a joke. there are only a few frames that will work for that price and they forget to mention that if you need the polycarbonate lenses it’s pricier. I stopped ordering contacts from here because the girl told me the company who’s contacts I purchase stopped selling month supplies and I could only order half a year or a year supply. Weirdly enough when she tried putting the order through with a month supply, it worked! They also were shady about giving me a copy of my prescription so if you do choose to go here, make sure to get a copy from the doctor when you have your exam. As for the being rude, it doesn’t matter when you go or who is working, EVERY single girl that works here has such an attitude! It’s like you are inconveniencing them by even walking into the store. I cannot imagine treating anyone the way that they treat customers, especially when I am working! A little hint, if you are going here only for the«cheap prices», most local eye doctors will price match. and you won’t have to deal with being treated like garbage ;)

I went there just for an exam to later buy my contacts online for a much cheaper price. The lady that was up front that deals with your insurance and cashes you out was really rude and looked bothered by having to work. The actual doctor that I saw was the best one I have ever dealt with… she answered all of my questions fully and explained things I have never understood. I would go back just for the exam again.

Okay-it’s a one star situation now. Not only does my husband STILL not have his new glasses(yes it’s been almost two months!) but we drove out there(about 15 mins) to pick them up because they had put in new lenses. Guess what? Even though it had been four days since they called to let us know they were ready, they had actually ORDEREDTHEWRONGKIND, & didn’t have them ready. So not only did they not have his glasses ready, they didn’t even CALL to let us know that they didn’t, even though they had 4 days. They suggested that he take the glasses as they were, then drive back in 3 or 4 days, drop them off, & pick them up again 3 – 4 days later. Um, no thanks. Now it’s been almost a week & still nothing. Save yourself the hassle, go somewhere else!
