Had the shrimp scampi and tiramisu. Both were expertly prepared and delicious. Good wine list with fair prices. Our 6-year old wishes they had mac and cheese, though. We would definitely come back.

One of our favorite restaurants to frequent in Ouray. Delicious food, consistent hours and service, and a lovely ambiance. The wait staff are friendly and very knowledgable about the dishes they serve. We especially enjoy Sunday brunch in the summertime – it’s not to be missed!

Elegant place, very pretty in an old-fashioned way. Very good food and service. Rather pricey.

They get one star because they actually turned me away. Place is full and I can’t get a table; no problem, I’ll carry out. NOPE! Must be a pretty damn successful place to refuse to take a carry out order. Won’t call a second time.

Extremely slow service with no apology just excuses. The beef Wellington(their speciality) was filled with grizzle and when I complained, the waiter merely took it away without an apology or offering something else. My wife had the cannelloni and got food poisoning. Too expensive, poor food, and service. WILLNOTGOBACK!

Superb. A great grotto of good food. It was just me. So I had my dinner at the bar. Classic bar with a friendly bartender. My martini was perfection. The stunning smoked salmon appetizer could have fed three people. Fresh, with extra-crisp thin slices of toasted baguette. I was a little too full to fully appreciate the pork tenderloin piccata. Delicious. Although I took more than half home to enjoy tomorrow. All in all, a perfect eating out experience. Friendly staff. Unpretentious service. Excellent food. In a warm, elegant environment.

While on our vacation in Ouray, my lover and I decided to eat here for dinner. We stunned by the beautiful underground restaurant’s atmosphere. Gorgeous and relaxing. Our server Brian, was very helpful with selecting wines and provided is with excellent service. For appetizers we ordered the garlic cheese bread… So Delicious… And for dinner I had the spinach Alfredo and my boyfriend ordered a baked pasta both plates came with a salad. We both enjoyed our meals, good quality food and about $ 12 – 15 a plate. If we come back to Ouray were hitting this spot again.

Delicious Italian food with perfect service. Our glasses never went empty. This place is located in a historic building’s basement– super cool with stone walls and a warm, cozy atmosphere. We brought our kids and they all ordered off the kids’ menu-items under $ 10. Our adult entrees were pretty pricey, but the food was wonderful. I had the Kittie’s Canelloni, and my fiancée loved his mixed grille. We finished up with crème brûlée cheesecake and tiramisu. I would venture back here anytime! Only downside, our son said the restrooms were freezing(due to the stone walls!).

So disappointing. Spending over $ 150 on food that was less than mediocre. Presentation and quality were very poor. Will not go back again.

Lovely downstairs restaurant. We were seated in a private booth, which seemed quaint, but quickly became warm and stuffy. Ask for a table! Service was great, tasty food and the tiramisu to die for!!! Reservations a must!

Great food, fun atmosphere. Loved the lasagna and cannolini. Our table was ready early, so they sat us early. The hostess, the hostess in charge of filling our water glasses, our server, and the staff in general were all friendly. The place is reasonably priced and for a bottle of wine, two entrees(including bread and salads), and two desserts, our bill was $ 74. Our waiter was a bit of a space cadet, forgetting bread and the correct dessert for one of us, but we just asked and he corrected the problem without any attitude. We would totally come again. Get a reservation for sure! The restaurant is definitely a little loud(think Buca de Beppo), but we enjoyed the drunk cowboy across the way telling stories, so just go into it with the knowledge that it’s not quiet and it’s really good food(especially after a long day on the bikes and/or road) and you’ll be fine!

Excellent place, from atmosphere to service to food! The Tuscan Garlic Chicken was fantastic, loved the Blood Orange Red Snapper special, and enjoyed the Filet Mignon. The portions are large and come with a tasty bread and 15 herb butter. Great wine pairings and a knowledgeable staff. Each associate is constantly removing dishes, refilling glasses, and checking on you. My only detractor is that they don’t open at exactly 5:30 pm, usually have a little wait. But didn’t affect me enough to not provide five stars.

My wife and I had our 10th anniversary here and it was incredible. Everything was top notch from the minute we walked through the door. The service was excellent, and the food was just incredible. This ranked as one of my top five dinning experiences ever. This is hands down the best place for a great experience in Ouray. Just stop what you are doing right now and go eat here, you will not regret it.

Mixed reviews indeed. Here’s another one. First, our service was impeccable. The décor was pleasant and the kitchen efficient. But the food is strictly ordinary, a bad deal at the price even by vacation spot standards. People who are raving about the beef Wellington have clearly never had the dish made well. It was nearly flavorless. My Tuscan garlic chicken lacked all subtlety, leaning mainly on an overdose of garlic and salt, and even flattened, the chicken tenders were surprisingly tough. We can see promise in that the sweet corn soup was interesting and well-balanced, and the bread was quite good. But we’ll certainly not be back for such mediocre food at these prices. My sense is that the 5-star reviewers have been deluded by its pretensions.

A reservation is a MUST here! They get full up fast. It took us a while to get a table, which ok, they’re busy. A nice little place, with lots of ambiance and good food. If you’re looking for something quiet, then it’s going to be a little loud depending on where you sit. The outdoor area is nice and their«Upstairs» area is a bit quieter. The main are is nicely furnished with wood, but the wood benches can get a bit tough for the hour and a half dinner. The service is «paced» or just totally slow. So make sure you are going to have time for a long dinner. Our took almost two hours. The bread is fresh and really good with an amazing herb butter that you could put on just about anything. If you’re into Caesar salad then take a pass on this one. Dressing is weak and little of it, and ours was bit wilted. However if you’re a soup person, try the Olathe Sweet Corn soup if they have it, with the fresh cracked pepper. Delicious! For main courses we had the Filet which was a bit over cooked but still incredibly tender and the sauce was fantastic. The Mash was creamy and a good bit of Garlic. The Green Bean Almandine is wonderful as well. The other entrée was a great Pork Parmesan. Very tender, well cooked and the port marinara sauce was a perfect compliment to the imported Italian noodles(that I thought were house made). Couldn’t get to dessert because we were stuff. Waiter took probably too long in several places because he was running a lot. But would definitely do the again!

I could have the Fettuccine Verde Alfredo every day for the rest of my life! The drinks are amazing, as well. Will definitely be back next time I’m in Ouray!

Enjoyed The Bön Ton from beginning to end. Food was superb. Highly recommend the mussels as a starter and the desserts are a must. Get there early and sit at the bar. Chris, the bartender, is great. Be sure to ask him about his 18 month old son, who is adorable. Be sure to make reservations, you will need one.

We had Sunday brunch and it was absolutely amazing. The biscuits and gravy were crazy good. The home fries that came with were so good I ordered a second plate. Service was top notch, atmosphere was great. I will return to this town if only to eat here again. Bravo staff and servers!
