Sara was all alone — I think the person who was supposed to be there didn’t arrive on time and despite being the sole associate in the store with 3 people she managed to be helpful and courteous.
I was in the store because I’d lost my Brookstone umbrella, which for 4 years had been the best umbrella I’d ever had… until I lost it. So after a period of mourning (and getting wet while in denial…“I’m sure I’ll find it”) I bought the exact same model.

Brookstone is so glorious, mainly because of the massage chairs you can try. It’s hard to find a time where there isn’t someone taking up all the chairs, but when one is empty, it’s a great experience. I definitely am going to save up my money and get myself one!
I also like all the doodads they have throughout the store that is supposed to make your life easier: outside speakers that look like canteens, super comfy pillows and mattresses, iPod docks… you name it, they probably have it. It’s a great browsing store but it’s also a great place to find fun and cool stuff for tech geeks or guys that are hard to shop for.
