I like that this is one of the few places at the mall where I can walk around on plush carpeting while looking at lux merch that I can’t(always) afford. In order to be able to do this though, I have to endure what can sometimes be annoying salespersons. I like to look at my own pace(and mostly not buy) without pressure from people hoping to get some sort of commission. I shop online for Coach, and it’s just difficult to know how a bag will look on you without trying it on, so sometimes I just want to test-drive a bag I saw online. Whenever I look to see if the Oak Park Coach store has a bag I’ve been browsing online, I am more likely to find that they do have it, so I like their selection as well. Maybe they don’t have a lot of the bags available online, but apparently those bags aren’t my taste– so not my problem. I’m a Poppy fan, and they usually have what I’m looking for. So I visit when I go to the mall. Plus it seems that they’ve upped the number of special 25% off events which is ALWAYS up my alley.

I love Coach. I’ve always been a fan of Coach because of the awesome service, good quality, and lifetime warranty. Their bags are worth the price. Strap worn out or broken? Trim around the edges worn out? Zipper broken? Coach will repair or replace anything that wears out or breaks on your purse during its lifetime. Just take it to any store, pay the shipping fee and you’ll get it back in a couple of weeks good as new! This is why I’ll happily spend $ 400 on a purse from here. I would give this store 5 stars but I recently went to Chicago and bought a bag at their Michigan Ave. store. A week later, I received a nice, handwritten thank you card in the mail along with a $ 50 gift card. Impressive! Step it up, Oak Park store!

I only am going to give it an ‘A-OK’ because I can’t afford anything in this store! Sure, every thing is pretty to look at, but it just reminds me how poor I am and how much I can’t have. Most of the purses range from $ 200‑1000 and are genuine leather(unless you get one with their ‘C’ logo pattern, those are usually cloth). There are all different colors, sizes, and styles. They also offer wallets, accessories, luggage, and footwear(although there wasn’t any footwear in this store when I went, if I remember correctly). Every thing is really pretty and stylish. The sales staff obviously can tell who is window-shopping and who isn’t and cater their attention to them accordingly. Which is fine, I guess, but it makes me a little insulted because I feel discriminated against. But I guess that is a whole other blog post or rant. :) Anyway, if you want a piece that is always in style and will last forever, go with Coach.
