Pier 1 Imports

I love looking around in Pier 1 — I feel like I’m prowling in a jungle of home décor amazingness. Furniture, kitchen things, pillows, holiday, candles, décor: they have everything you need to make your home stylish — okay, okay — or, for the decoration-​challenged, at least make it look like you had a plan.
In quality, Pier 1 is a step above Kirkland’s and on par with World Market. They’re a little on the pricey side if you walk in and get something at full price. I just left the college age bracket and into the twenty-​something group with a full mortgage hanging over our heads. I wish I could furnish our entire home with Pier 1 treasures, but alas, I must gather a piece at a time or watch the clearance shelves.
This particular location is pretty large! I had a wonderful time browsing and snagging the after-​Christmas markdowns. The staff was friendly and very helpful. They get an A in my book — can’t wait to go back to peruse!
