It has been forever since I’ve been to the Shack. It’s a Best Buy world, what can I say? Well, for now anyway. Best Buy is going to close a bunch of stores soon.
In any event, I wanted to talk about the person who helped me, known on my receipt as «JR.» She’s a lovely young black woman who is everything right about a retail operation. Came up to me quickly when I entered the store, showed me what I needed, gave me space to decide, helped me get an accessory, suggestively sold on the way to cash wrap, suggestively sold at cash wrap, and gave me a «think about it» regarding Radio Shack’s underpriced cell phones (they are seeking to be a place people go to in order to buy cell phones so they’re being very aggressive on their Samsung pricing, etc.). Great experience at a place I never go
exactly the reason why a casual customer might return.
