The food is okay. However, the service is horrible! I called and placed our order and when I inquired about changing out white rice to fried rice I was given and order number and a time to pickup, never an answer to our question, then she just hung up. When we arrived to pickup no greeting at all. I gave them our order number and asked about the free crab rangoons when you order $ 30 or more and she informed me we did not order enough, our total was $ 29.79. I understand We did not order $ 30 but .21c? Where is the customer service? So we added something else and she rolled her eyes took my money and sat my change on the counter. I will NOT go back!

Number 1 Chinese food establishment in Oviedo. It’s not even close. I go here all the time. They are friendly and professional. The place is clean for a Chinese joint. I give this place a sold 8.4÷10. Great prices on the lunch menu. If you don’t like China one then you should fuck off

It’s Sunday. I want Chinese food and I want something reliable. I’m on the finale of Daredevil Season 2 and I need dumplings and white rice. Basically, I want starch with my starch. But I’ve been here a million times before and China One has never let me down. Nothing fancy here — your standard fare at a decent price. But when you know what you like, you always go back for more. Even if their fortune cookies feature typos like«noddles.»

The Best Chinese Takeout in Oviedo. China One is our family favorite for twenty years. Pork Mu-Fun is my personal favorite.

I have been a total of five times. First four times the food was decent and convenient. The last time I went my food was not good at all. It was also super busy that particular day.

I live nearby and find the food here is always made quickly, tastes great and rice is never dry like other places. I usually order between the chicken lo mein, fried dumplings, general tsos or bourbon chicken lunch /dinner specials. My sons enjoy the chicken wings. We have also tried the ribs(with and without bone), and find them to be delicious. The staff has always been friendly to me, and I can’t remember our order ever being wrong in the past few years. The dine-in area is minimal, but it’s no different from other Chinese take-out locales. Not recommend for a foodie, as I doubt you would enjoy it here, but again, it’s a quick take-out place.

This is our standard go-to Chinese take-out place primarily because it’s within a mile of home and the service is very quick. The food is average… not bad but nothing special. The lunch specials are very reasonable at around $ 5.50 for most but consisting primarily of fried rice and a smaller entrée. I find I’m usually better off to order ala carte by getting a pint container of what i really want to eat which comes with a small steamed rice on the side and order soup(if I want any) separately. It’s a couple or so dollars more but more of what you want and less fried rice. If a man takes your order over the phone be careful to check your bag contents before you leave. I’ve found mistakes made frequently when one of the men happen to fill in for any of the women on the phone.

The service is great and the people there are friendly and it tastes great so if you are ever looking for one go to this one!

Great New York style Chinese, lived here for 14 years and moved from northeast, this is the closest to northern Chinese we’ve found. Family owned, just great people that live in the community. A must try in my book.

We order from China One about every 8 weeks. Our order consists of sweet and sour chicken, beef with broccoli, 3 egg rolls, large ribs, large pork fried rice, fried wontons, large wonton soup. We get at least 3 meals out of this order. All of it is excellent except the wonton soup which is dark brown and tastes like it’s got some kind of dark hard liquor in it. I don’t eat it. Sunray, which is very nearby, has the same problem with their wonton soup. It must be a Florida thing. We’re from New York and wonton soup isn’t dark brown. If it wasn’t for the wonton soup, I’d give them 5 stars.

So basically everyone on the Oviedo Facebook page told us to check this place out and since its right next to our apartment complex I gave it a try. We may or may not be back depending on the other Chinese food in the area. I’m from Massachusetts so my expectations are probably much too high for Florida. The food was mediocre. The staff was friendly. The service was timely. I’ll probably update this review after trying out a few other places. Overall it was neither good nor bad and the price was fair.

The food here is delicious. You know the food is fresh not only because it tastes good but because they make your food at the moment while right in front of you. You can watch them cooking it! Keep in mind that it is a TAKEOUT restaurant. It is not a fancy place where you sit down and eat. But for what it is the food is great!

Food was just okay, I have had much better Chinese before. I do not recommend this place everything there was over cooked and expensive.

I have only been here once but I was not blown away. This is your standard Chinese place intended for takeout or delivery so they only have like 4 tables and it is not very pleasant to sit and eat there. They have the standard dishes at standard prices but I felt the food was a little less quality. I compare it to the quality I expect for a buffet, but they are making the food to order so I would want more in order to make this a place I order from regularly. No complaints, just a very accurate use of the 2 star description of «Meh, I’ve experienced better.»

Went to china one due to Unilocal rating. We usually go to Panda Express, and wanted to try something local. Prices look inexpensive, but when we got our lunches there wasn’t much chicken in the mix. Not sure what we can order to get a decent amount of meat, most of their entries have a meat with rice, or Lomaine. If we find something where we can order the meat and side separately we may go back. But when they combine both you have mostly just carbs.

When I went to UCF, this was my Chinese joint. Although the person behind the counter answering the phone may be a little short with you, the food is REALLY good. The General Tso’s and the sesame chicken are especially good. They have a deal where if you buy $ 20 of stuff on a pickup order, you get a free order of Krab Rangoon’s. Their krangoons are pretty good. I’d recommend ‘em. Good place.
