KFC

We have lived in Owasso for 12 years and have eaten at the Owasso KFC about four times. It is always horrible, but every few years we decide to give it another chance. It had been a few years since our last visit but we tried it today — with bad results again.
In the past we have eaten inside. Our complaints were about a dirty dining area — the type of dirt that is a long gradual accumulation showing on the floors and walls. The place looked shabby as well. We have had our orders messed up and I couldn’t believe how small the pieces of chicken were on one occasion. The legs looked about the size of a wing drummette. We were craving some good old original recipe KFC today, so we picked up some chicken and biscuits to go. Bad decision. The biscuits were cold and kind of dry. Not appetizing. The chicken was so greasy it was like it sat in the grease after it was cooked. The skin was mushy and the trademark KFC spices just didn’t taste right. At least the chicken was fully cooked, otherwise we would have made a trip back and asked for a refund. We each ate a piece and threw the rest away. Just too creepy.
I doubt we will ever try our Owasso location again. It’s a shame, because KFC has been a favorite of ours for so many years.

The chicken tenders at KFC are now flat, tasteless, horrific piece of frozen food fodder. Disgusting. What happened? The bean counters are more worried about exactly how many dipping sauces you are allowed per order, as evidence by the elaborate breakdown posted at the counter. The Colonel must be rolling over in his grave in response to what the corporate big wigs have done to his legacy. This chain should be ashamed of the food quality they serve …
