My mom and I went here for lunch and had a bad experience. First– I asked the woman at the counter(not knowing she was the manager at this point in time) about pricing and she told me how much it would be, then it was almost double when it came time to pay. I asked her why she told me the other amount and she gave me a reason that didn’t make sense. It sounds like she misunderstood what I was asking, but she should know, as a manager, to clarify. I then asked off she could delete the order and just give me the meal, specified that I cannot have peppers and asked twice that peppers not be in the sandwich. Sandwich came out with peppers! We didn’t have time to wait for a new sandwich to be made because it took forever. I asked for a manager and she said she was it, did not apologize, but gave me a refund. Also, there were no drinks in the cooler. Brought this to the managers attention and she brought out warm drinks and left them on the counter. It wasn’t too busy to put them in the cooler. There was no ice in the drink machine. I realize it needs to be manually poured in, but there were two employees standing around laughing and joking, one of them could have filed the ice, and put bottled drinks away. The tables were dirty which made it hard to find a seat. I asked my mom how her food was and she said her sub was very soggy! Clearly very poorly managed and we won’t be back.

Not a fan of this location. Service is slow, poor, and inconsistent. Staff makes you feel like you are bothering them when you come in. The food is okay. The«freestyle» Coke machine always has issues with the touch screen, and is always out of flavors.

Not the first time I’ve been to Firehouse Sub. I went to one out of this state and it was much better. No busy at all but they couldn’t even be attentive to their customers. Very slow delivery. Cashier made to many mistakes. Not Firehouse high standard services here. I wanted to stop by because they give the community firefighters supports and give great events for the community. My Cesar sub was delicious tho. I enjoyed my food and the place was clean. However I prolly will not be back cause they are super slow.

I love Firehouse… every sandwich — every time. This was no exception. Love the freestyle coke machine too!

I went because of the reviews and I was very disappointed. I ordered the Sicilian, cheesesteak, and meatball subs. I would have rather eaten at subway…

Today around 330 pm I dined at Firehouse Subs at the Garrison Shopping Plaza in Owings Mills. I had the chili it was pretty descent, hot temperature wise and a little spicy. I had to remind the boy that I did not have a spoon or crackers. Napkins are already on the table, but w the spoon at Firehouse I quickly learned that it is a small firehouse pouch which is cute. My issue per this visit, no one available to take my order immediately, very cold AC, employees not being aware of there customers and needs, the television is very high. Also the subs are a little pricey! Subway and other sandwich shops have them beat with pricing. There are favorites like the number 1,3,5 and 6. I’m not sure if I’ll dine there again.

Subs italian and brisket were good. The wait staff was attentive. Had a little wait time considering I was the only person in line.

Their commercial lured me in but the food captioned me. When ordering the food it was so easy. No one pushing brioche or quinoa on me or a special sauce. I explained to the cashier I didn’t want Taft medium cup because it was like a big gulp. She laughed and said yea I agree and handed me a small which is like a medium. I opted for the cherry limeade which was diabetes sweet(still tasty) I won’t get that again but the hook and ladder is now my goto. I picked up a veggie sub as well to put a spin on it. Plus the carbs will have me dragging. All in all this place is to the point and tasty. Reminds me of a firehouse if it had a restaurant inside. Come try it out

I gave this place two attempts to satisfy my need for a SUB, and both times the servers did not include the basic ingredients that they advertise on the wall. Their prices are high, and they hire folks that cant recall all the items that belong in their products. Not a good choice.

Firehouse has the best tasting subs… and they support the local firehouses — another plus. We have never experienced bad service at Firehouse Subs. I am handicapped and they go out of their way to help me. I believe on occasion they are slightly short-staffed, but seem to manage with minimal delay. I believe they are competitive cost-wise. If I had to chose between a Burger King Chicken Sandwich Combo and a Firehouse Sub Combo; not a big price difference, Firehouse would win every time. I don’t consider Subway competitive. We’ve lived and eaten all across the US so we’ve tried lots of sub shops. I’m sure there are better or different styles of sub shops, but we definitely find Firehouse Subs tasty and consistent overall.

The food is ok for the price. A sandwich is going to cost you $ 10 without a drink or chips. The staff was low in energy and didn’t appear like they wanted to be here. Not a bad place, other places in the area will serve you better for the same price.

This is my second time here. I came once and was not pleased, but I do believe in 2nd chances. Their propaganda techniques in the commercials will get your mind and pallet all excited, but once you get there, it’s a horse of a different color. The fist sub I got there was over priced and small compared to other sub places. This time I went, it was still over priced, but there was more meat on my sandwich. Yup, I decided to get a sandwich this time. It was made Italian cold cut style. I did not get it toasted hence, «cold» cut. The sandwich was pretty good and I would go back for that, but not for a sub. It took forever for them to make the sandwich. I’m not sure if everyone working was new, but I am sure that everyone working was extremely slow! I think this place has some improvements, but has the potential to be a good place if they prices were cheaper and the service was quicker, just to name a few.

Ordered a meatball sub. Bread was slightly burnt. Meatballs and sauce were bland. The cheese didn’t help much. I won’t be returning.

Very poor experience with very bad customer service. My friends decided to order online, and let me pick it up on my way home from work. The order was placed at 8:20pm, with a pick-up time of 8:40pm. I arrived at 8:40pm. I was not greeted,(anytime somebody walks in the door the employees say«Welcome to Firehouse») and stood at the counter for a full minute before an employee came to help me. I told them that I was there to pick up an online order, only to find out that not only was the order not ready, they hadn’t even looked at the print out with the order on it. A woman who I can only assume was the manager on duty came up to me and apologized and said that they’d have the order done for me in five minutes. Fifteen minutes after she told me that, the order was finally done. I walked out very unhappy. Once I got home and everybody started eating, they noticed some of the subs were made incorrectly, and nobody got a pickle. This was a terrible experience. There were only two other customers there, so it wasn’t like they were busy. I also thought that maybe they’d throw in a few bags of chips or cookies to make up for the wait, but the only thing I got was the first apology. I’ve been to Firehouse before and have had ok service and decent subs, but this was inexcusable, and I won’t be going back.

This place was amazing I never heard of Firehouse Subs. After working(my Chan is an HVACGUY) on a Saturday we decided to take a lunch break. I got the Sweet Thai Pulled Pork Sub and it’s was great. Not to include the soft drink machine where we had over 120 selections, just imagine Fanta Raspberry or Peach Sprite… yummy! Rickey who took our order was exceptional. I highly recommend this place great food, and great customer service. They have dome of the best sauces you can put on a sub. I bought this sweet yet spicy sauce that you can put on your chicken, steak, or ribs. Five stars for me. Channing’s Choice.

Love going to the owings mills location. Food is always correct and they are friendly. We like that if you go on your actual birthday they will card you and give you a free medium sub. That was really nice. Like the soda machine and the choices you can get. I really do recommend this place. Quick and easy meal at a good cost and fast! Lots if good choices.

My total price for a large steak&cheese w/meal came up to $ 12.12 its not that big kinda looking medium than being large!!! The bread wasn’t toasted however was fresh n soft! No fries just chips!!! I think subway is much way better and more reasonable price! Service was okay and kinda friendly! Nothing really impressing about this place!

I will never go here again. Everything I could imagine was wrong with this place. Firstly, service was mind-numbingly slow. I ordered a chicken salad sub and it took TENMINUTES for them to make it. There were two people in there waiting for subs when I arrived. Why did any of this take so long? I don’t know. Secondly, price — overpriced, for sure. Nearly $ 7 for this sub? I’d expect to pay that at a high quality establishment, but not here. Thirdly, not enough meat. I ate half of my sub right away, and do you what happened when I finished half of that half? There was no more meat. At least ¼ of my sub didn’t have any meat on it. And the height of the meat was laughable. This sub was mostly a roll with some stuff thrown onto it. Service was actually good. The customer service lady was very nice and very friendly. Still, definitely not going here again.

Last weekend for the Ravens game we ordered 2 turkey bacon ranch subs, 1 italian and a bowl of chili. The subs were all excellent with alot of meat, that was moist and fresh. The chili was not very spicy according to my wife, who stated Famous Dave’s(the rib/bbq place) has better chili. However, everyone loved their subs. As for the other Unilocaler who complained about the size and price, we disagree. The subs were just as large as you would find at Subway and about the same price(maybe a $ 1 more). I ordered a large italian and the sub took the whole size of a full dinner plate. After eating it I was stuffed and didn’t want anything more. The menu is a bit hard to understand as it mentions a combo, but never explains that a combo is chips and a drink. Also, its hidden that you can get the large for $ 2 more. Finally, the subs are listed as coming«fully involved» which means loaded complete with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, onion, and a dill spear on the side. Once you know all this information then you should be ready to order. As for the soda they have Coke freestyle machine where you pick the cola and flavorings with over 120 possibilities. We decided not to give this a try, but it did seem like fun. We will have to give it a try next time.
