So of course after my nice review, they had to raise the price of the pizza from $ 6.99 to $ 7.49, so it comes to almost $ 8 after tax. I don’t approve!

Interesting concept but the pizza is less then average I have tried it a few times but honestly it’s just not great or even good. I’ll pass!

I like the idea of it! Fast, personal pizza, made just the way you like! Awesome! Large variety of toppings and they offer a meal deal when you pair a pizza with a salad or dessert and a drink(I think this is around $ 10). However, I wasn’t very impressed with the overall flavor of my food. I’ll still give it another chance!

$ 5 pizzas. Not much else to say. Made to order and reasonably priced. Perfect place for a college student.

Great pizza… but the young staff is impolite and they make everything very rushed and disorderly.

I came here for lunch last week with my husband and his friend, and I think I absolutely fell in love with Pie Five. I really, legitimately don’t know what there is to NOT like about this place! The idea is brilliant and stupid simple — get a personal sized pizza with whatever you want on it. My husband and I very rarely agree on pizza toppings, and as silly as it sounds the struggle is real! So this was great — he got thin crust loaded up with mushrooms and meat, and I got a thicker crust loaded up with cheese, onions and jalapenos.(We both had some other stuff on there, but that was the main idea.) And the pizza was GOOD, I thought! It was also pretty big, and I ended up taking half of it home. For a few more bucks you can get a drink and either a dessert or a side salad. The desserts looked great and wickedly bad for you, so we all bypassed them for a salad. Interestingly the salads are put in some type of cracker or bread bowl. None of us ate it because we were eating pizza and how many carbs did we need? I don’t understand the logic behind that ATALL. I bet most people end up throwing it out, which is nothing but a waste. It’s definitely worth it to check this place out and I’m really happy that they’re opening locations in Howard County closer to where I live. You really can’t go wrong!

Pizza was good! They allow you to fix your own pizza even choosing different crust! Toppings were fresh, place was clean, service was good and food was prepared quickly!

Fast service, friendly staff, clean dining area. This was my first time here. Stuck to safe toppings lol. my pizza was tasty and fresh. I wil definitely be back. The pan crust is thick but not too doughy, sauce isn’t too acidic, cheese is yummy and plentiful. Fresh toppings :-)

Went to Pie5 today with my co workers and it was our first time. It was great experience! They even have gluten free for an extra $ 2.00 but it’s worth it.

This place is pretty decent. Not spectacular, but decent pizza. The options are very nice to have when you and your SO can’t decide on what kind of pizza to get. My wife, for example, can’t eat red sauce. and I love it. so with the olive oil and garlic option, she can get her white pizza while I get my normal people pizza! Pie Five does need some issues fixed. the dining room area needs some extra attention to detail when staff is cleaning up. The tables were sticky and floor had trash all over, not to mention the large pile of trays and pizza pans that were loaded up on the trash bin without being moved. The pizza was actually really good, and with all the different options, you can’t really go wrong. I recommend dining in rather than carry out mainly because it’s a lot better when it’s fresh out of the oven. We opted to get the salads bundled with our pizza, which is a nice option if done right. However, the salads are measly little romaine bowls in a «cracker» bowl. Pro-tip: DONOTEATTHEBOWL. It’s salty and terrible, just don’t. the romaine they used was still really wet, so the dressing I chose wasn’t sticking to the lettuce at all, which provided a sad attempt at a salad. Staff was very friendly, and helpful. If the dining area was kept a bit cleaner, they would have a real winner on their hands. The location is great for them, thanks to Stevenson University being right there. perfect clientele.

Really good pizza. Quick and friendly staff. Would return and recommend. Receipts come with 20% off coupons every time you visit so take advantage of that.

Everyone knows that no two people can ever fully agree on pizza toppings. So the fact that you can have a personal pizza of your own creation is frankly wonderful and a great way to cut out the back and forth bickering that occurs when trying to order pizza for a group. The setup is simple: like a Quizno’s or Qdoba(and other chains that don’t start with Q) you tell the person behind the bar what you want on your pizza, they pop it in a little oven, and voila! Your edible creative spurt is ready to eat! I tried the pan and the thin crust, and I prefer the thin, however, if you like your crust to be very«bready» then the pan is right up your alley. The marinara sauce is sharply acidic, which I loved since I always strongly dislike sweet tomato sauce. Blech. The toppings are fresh and there are a ton of options, making this a great little place to grab a quick and relatively healthy bite to eat. Here’s what keeping them from getting a higher review: the desserts. You can get a combo meal with either a side salad or a dessert. My wife got the salad, so I got dessert for us to share. I mean, how can you go wrong with a turtle brownie? You can go very, very wrong, it seems. Even She Of The Ginormous Sweet Tooth didn’t take more than a couple half-hearted bites after the disappointing first one. It was dry, possibly a bit stale, used way too much cocoa and was cloyingly sweet. We left most of it on the plate. The service was pretty good, but there are some logistics that might need tweaking. For example, if my wife is standing in front of the salad section very obviously waiting to be served, it’s a bit rude to take the large salad order of the woman at the back of the line first. She’s still looking at pizza toppings, and we’re now holding up the entire line waiting for you. Not a good plan overall.

My friend suggested this place, he described it as the Subway of pizza parlors. The good: Plenty of choices. You get the crust, sauce and toppings of your choice. Cholula is the hotsauce they offer(yum!). Pizza is the perfect size for one person. The OK: It takes awhile for the pizza to cook and you stand and wait for it. It wasn’t crowded when we were there, so it wasn’t an issue, but I would imagine that it would be a bottle neck if it was busier. I think a nice solution would be if they had table top numbers then brought your pizza when it was cooked. Important Tip: They have a points club, so the more pie you buy, the sooner you’ll get a free one. I’ll be back.

Found this new gem off OM Blvd. Great for kids. Tons of options to personalize your pizza and salad. It’s the Chipotle of Pizza. We will definitely be back soon.

Pizza interesting concept, not horrible, little better than mediocre. Not expensive, good for kids, though the kids size is too small for kids, mine always finish it and want more, so I order them the regular size and they are satisfied.

I love the fact that I can add as many toppings as I like. However, I like my pizza hot and it was lukewarm. My cheese hardly melted. The service was okay and the place was clean. I’ll give it another try, but no time soon.

Tried it for the first time yesterday and was surprised how good the pizza was. There is a lot of different options and you can even build your own pizza… I will be going back sooner than later to try a different type of pizza. I tried the buffalo chicken pizza and it was very good! The idea of a place where you can get a personal pizza and it actually be great tasting and filling is absolutely awesome! You can eat the whole thing and not feel guilty!

My family loves pie5. It is a great novel concept. The pizzas that they have on the menu are pretty good and the crust while not official NY style good is unique and has a good flavor. I enjoy the BBQ chicken pizza and the sauce is good maybe a tad bit sweet and I would enjoy a bit more spice in it. The kids enjoy the chicken carbonara though they don’t like mushrooms the Alfredo sauce is very solid. The side salads come in a little pizza shell but it’s good and crispy like a pretzel though the chicken breast doesn’t work as well for me in the salad. The service at Pie 5 is always friendly and the hallmark is their speed and oven which definitely reminds me of Quiznos and is a great way to use the type toasting that has become popular. It’s not a fine dining spot but it’s a cool alternative to subway or traditional pizza places.

Very novel concept. It is basically a Quiznos but they make you pizza instead of a sub. Clean facility and the line moves relatively quick. You would expect the pizza to be searing hot with stringy cheese since it is made fresh right in front of you… However, the pizza came out with very uneven temperature; Some areas cold and others warm, never hot. This was from within less than minute of it leaving the conveyor belt oven and me receiving it. Portion size is good for one person. Needs improvement on the baking quality, otherwise a decent place.

My overall score would be a 4.9, but let’s be honest, this is really a neat 5-star quality fast pizza place that is different from other pizza joints. For starters, as soon as you walk in, the staff will warmly greet you and help you figure out the menu if it’s your first visit or just need some inspiration. I love that they have thin crust options and salad choices too. The food is prepared before your very eyes so you are in full control over what goes in or what doesn’t. My 0.1 deduction is for the salad dressing being a little heavy on my Greek side salad. I know to make sure to ask for none or light dressing next time. ;) The pizza itself can be totally customizable. I am about 5 minutes away from leaving to go there again to try out a different combination. Pie Five also offers a frequent diners’ club(join the Circle of Crust!) that keeps track of your purchases and rewards you at different increments of points. Definitely enticing to diners like me!
