No décor whatsoever; bland uninteresting food. Would never return and I I live nearby.

Excellent veal, eggplant and chicken Parmesan! Nothing in a 50 mile radius can beat the service or the pricing! They have a great wine selection too! We felt like we were eating at a high priced restaurant in little Italy! Very quaint and a great family atmosphere. We will definitely come back!

The pizzas and pastas are so good. The family who works here is very friendly and the resturaunt itself is adorable with very nice décor. Its a shane the place is half empty almost every time I go in there because it really is such a nice family owned restaurant. I wish more people would go there. Itd be such a shame to see this place go.

You’ll be hard pressed to find more authentic Cuisine in the valley. The only thing I can recommend is the seafood, the freshness of which will be hard to find for any place not on the coastline, I’ve never tried anything else because it’s that good that I order it every single time. Zappa de pesce and thank me later.

Owners are great. Good food for a decent prize. The meatballs and pizza are my favorites! Try the popeye pizza!

Apps NG… Mushrooms soggy, calamari prob frozen, overcooked & rubbery. Pasta e Fagiola(pasta Fazool) in a tomato soup, not a broth. Lasagna, veal, eggplant entrees good — my dining pals cleaned their plates. Not much atmosphere… Seemed more like a pizzeria. Not comfy cozy feeling. Waitress brought wrong veal dish and quickly reaccommodated with correct dish. Ehhh… Not much choice here in Oxford tho for Italian. Other than at home!

Appetizers were not good. Fried calamari was tasteless; don’t know what the stuffed mushrooms were stuffed with but they were tasteless as well. Had lasagna entrée which was very good. Hubby had penne w broccoli rabe and sausage; rates it 5 out of 10. Waitress was great but midway through meal she must’ve taken a smoke break bc she reeked of cigarettes. Not sure we will be returning.

Food here is excellent! Have not had a bad meal, and eat here often. I always do takeout, so don’t know anything about the service. I do wish they would landscape the front of the place though it’s sloppy and not appealing to the eye. I would bet they would get more business by just keeping it tidy. Can’t complain about the food though!

I’ll be honest, I’m picky when it comes to Italian food and only like moms, but this place ROCKS! We love going here, probably the best kept secret gem in Oxford. The food is awesome! Never have we had a bad meal ever and we eat here frequently. Their fried calamari is amazing as is their stuffed mushrooms and clams casino. They have an awesome oil/veggie mix that they serve with warm bread that’s made there. Awesome! Their salads are served ice cold, something that many restaurants don’t seem to do. I hate warm lettuce and their salads are always nice and cold. Their spaghetti sauce is not sweet, perfect and delicious with all their meals. The portions are huge and you will leave full. Run don’t walk to enjoy a delicious meal there! You won’t be sorry.

service: slow, inattentive Price: high for what you got. $ 18 for veal dish, I was sharing with a freind and was charged $ 3 for extra plate. So $ 21 for veal dish food ordered: Veal Florence Was served some hot rolls and waited forever for the food to arrive. The chicken soup tasted good but the chicken was not soft to chew. I thought that was strange. I’ve never had a chicken soup with chewy chicken before. The small salad came with my dressing on it, I ordered dressing on the side. So much honey mustard on it I didnt eat much of it. Now for the reason I am writing this review… the VEALFLORENCE. This was the worst attempt at cooking ever. It was served over spinach. I love spinach. The spinach had hard stringy centers. easy to choke on. You could roll it on your fork like spagetti. Hard to chew. I am 57 and never had unedible spinach. I can’t even imagine how you mess up cooking spinach. I also love veal, but not this veal dish. The VEAL… it was… how do I describe it. It was covered in breaded mush. Swimming in some very very strong lemon juice and oil. I litereally was pressing my fork into the lemon mush to squeeze out the juice so I could eat the veal without the tart taste. No luck. You could not taste the veal. All you tasted was the lemon… almost like eating a raw lemon. I have had veal at many restaurants usually I am very satisfied. This dish gets one star. yuk. I would not go back to this restaurant. There are plenty of places with better food and service.

Great local place. Been here many times, though mostly for pizza and hogies. Recently went for the entrees and had the swordfish piccatta. It was the best seafood piccatta I have had since Jumpin Jays in Portsmouth NH. Cucina rustica just my personal rankings.

Was out in Oxford by chance with a friend and stumbled upon Cucina Rustica. We looked on Unilocal and didn’t find any reviews, but the place looked inviting from the outside and so we decided to take a risk. It was 8 p.m. on a Saturday and the place was bustling — in a very nice, cozy way — a good sign. Patrons were joking around with the servers, and a general current of laughter pervaded the room — another good sign. All signs were pointing to our Cucina Rustica excursion turning out very well, and indeed it did. The food was wonderful — flavorful and homey — and the service was stand-out. The food is plentiful and the prices are reasonable. This might not be the place for a fancy dinner, but for a lazy Saturday evening in May it very much hit the spot.
