Asked for a consult on my hair & within 5 minutes, they had easily answered my questions & accommodated to my scheduling — they were able to take me immediately without an appointment! Nellie does incredible highlights! & extremely reasonable prices & a very clean environment.

First time here and i have to say, I love it! Nellie was really sweet and gave me a great, natural ombré. I’d never lightened my haor and was really nervous, but she did an awesome job! Plus the salon is beutiful, with a nice harbor view. Added bonus, the Honey Cups coffee shop is right below them, and they have great cappuccinos. The perfect compliment to an early morning hair appoimtment!

I purchased a spray tan groupon and let me start off saying that I’ve never had a spray tan before so I had no idea what to expect or do in preparation for it lol Nellie, the salon owner, was able to see me when I came early to my appt. She answered all my questions and made sure I followed her directions during the spraying process. The whole appt lasted no more than 20 minutes and make sure to bring a flowy summer dress so it doesn’t rub the spray tan off or hug your skin. I showered the following morning and my tan looked really good. It lasted a good couple of weeks and I would probably do it again since it was so fast and easy lol Thanks Nellie! :)

I had my hair and makeup done for my prom and I loved the look they gave me! Everyone was so polite and professional and I got a full package for an unbeatable price. I highly recommend this salon to anyone.

Overall I had a good experience with my one hour massage. My two girlfriends from out of state came with me and we had an appointment to get a massage all at the same time. We were running a bit late but it was no problem they still fit us in. Very clean salon. Only downfall was that there was no music playing during my massage. I guess that’s partly my fault; I should have spoken up and said something. Both of my friends said that they had a great experience.

I did not like the service here! It was over price and my hair didn’t turn out good at all! They let me walk out with brassy orange hair. I have bleach my hair so many times but never this terrible. I always have it done in West Hollywood but since I didn’t have time so I decided to just do it near my house! I do not recommend this place.

This place is great. It’s clean with a beautiful view. I made the appointment with Nelly, who gave me some of the most beautiful highlights I’ve ever had. Red and blonde and a terrific cut. It’s a pleasant place. Everyone was super nice and seem to work as a team helping each other out. I love to see that kind of stuff. Thank you ladies I have no problem recommending your Salon. Peace

So I received a gift certificate to Bella Mar for a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure & blow out. I called to book an appointment and it originally was for June 15th. So I went to the salon and they were closed. I called and the manager answered and apologized for the miscommunication and offered to come in herself. I didn’t feel comfortable so I rebooked my appointment. So I went in today at let me tell you the staff is VERY nice and the salon is BEAUTIFUL with a great view. My pedicure was good, the lady was very sweet and took her time on me offered me water and magazines. Next was the facial. The facial was my favorite. The lady did an amazing job and I was completely relaxed and she explain everything she was doing. Next was the massage. It was okay the first thing I notice the bed was cold & the AC coming on right when the lady reviled my back and I was already cold. Next the lady’s tummy kept growling so it was hard to relax. Then she got a bad cough and was trying to control it with water and candy. She apologized to me and I just said it’s fine.(We’re all human right) but every time she took a sip of water her cold hand would touch me and I couldn’t really relax. Next was the blow out Nelle the owner did that. That too was just okay. I am going back for another facial I didn’t get the manicure because I have my own lady. Nelle let me apply the $ 25 from manicure towards a facial I booked next month. Oh I also took a picture in the robe it went down to my calves. Not short like the pregnant lady said. All in all this place was okay. I hope this helps you Unilocalers.

I wandered in after the Farmer’s Market, and was amazed at the gorgeous Salon and exemplary treatment and upscale services available. I enjoyed a pedicure, waxing and facial, with very professional skills and attention. I’m very pleased.

First off, I chose this place based on Unilocal reviews and I was really let down. This review is for the spa services and not hair. Nellie(owner?) performed all of the services. She is a jack of all trades and master of none. I booked the«Day of Indulgence» and they allowed me to swap out the swedish massage for a prenatal massage. Short Version: All of the services were absolutely SUB-STANDARD and I literally cried for the entire 30 min drive home. Long Version: 4 services 1) Prenatal massage: I am 22 weeks pregnant and this is my first prenatal massage but certainly not my first massage ever. Basically, it wasn’t a massage. She asked me if anything was hurting. I let her know my lower back was sore(as expected for preggos). She then rubbed sticky lotion all over me with her sandpaper hands. That was it. Her hands were so rough it was distracting. I repeat, there was NOACTUALMASSAGING, no technique, no concentration on the sore spots, no muscle rubbing, not even massage oil. Absolute amateur hour. I’m pretty sure she has not attended massage school. To top it off, at the end she rubbed some lotion on my feet and then immediately started rubbing my face and chest(eww) and then wiped the rest of the lotion in my hair. Thanks, I needed greasy hair. Also, towards the end of the massage she sprayed a cloth with cheap smelling stuff(perfume, air freshener?) and put it over my eyes. I seriously considered walking out after the massage. I chose to be optimistic, which was a poor decision. She told me I could put on a white robe instead of putting my clothes back on. I opted not to because it looked to small, too short and too thin. Should I tie it above the giant belly so it can open and everyone can see my downstairs or maybe below the belly so everyone can see the boobies? No thanks. She asked me why I didn’t have the robe on and I told her I didn’t want to carry my clothes around. 2) Custom Facial: I was really looking forward to it because this pregnancy is causing both very dry skin and acne. First off, I had to lie on a flat table as opposed to a reclined chair like every other facial I have ever had. I’m in my 2nd trimester so being on my back is not that terrible but it’s still not exactly recommended by doctors. SHEDIDNOTASKME A SINGLEQUESTIONABOUTTHECURRENTCONDITIONOFMYSKIN. She put on some cleanser(I think) on her hands, then adjusted my hair and ran her fingers though it and then put the cleanser on my face. WTF. If she needed to adjust my hair she could have done it before she put stuff on her hands. Then she wiped my face with a wet towel that had both hot and cold spots. Then she popped a few whiteheads with her bare FINGERNAILS.eewwwwwww. No cotton barrier or gloves. It hurt because my pores had not been properly opened with steam or a hot towel. Then she exfoliated my skin with gritty feeling paste and circular scrubby machine. Followed by a sucking machine. Followed that up with 2 rounds with a «facial hammer»(metal with a hot and cold side). She used the hot side first and then the cold side, PULLINGONMYEYEAREATHEENTIRETIME. Put a mask on that burned and I asked her to change it. She said it burned because it contained peppermint. I doubt that, it did not smell like peppermint. I’m not sure the purpose of masking a face you have just rubbed with cold metal. My pores could not have been open. While the mask was on she blew cold mist on my face. She finished with lots of spraying of something above my face between rounds of the cold hammer and oxygen sprays. She completely neglected my chin and upper lip for the entire facial. She ended it with running her fingers through my hair and pulling it slightly which is so dam STRANGE. No scalp massage. She did put a hot towel under my neck and pull up and to the side, also strange. My skin is now very tight, very shiny, kinda burns, is weeping where she popped the white heads, and I still have noticeable blackheads. I’m still staying optimistic like a total idiot. 3) Pedicure: The spa chair really sucks for short women. The water barely covered the tops of my dangling feet. This was MORELIKE A POLISHCHANGETHAN A PEDICURE. I got a very light exfoliation with a cheap smelling scrubby gel. No pumice stone scrub, no callous removal, no foot massage, no actual cleaning except that my feet were in water. MYHEELSARESTILLVERYROUGH. She rubbed lotion on my feet, applied a base coat, had me put on my sandals and then put on the polish. I got lotion all over my sandals which was slippery and unsafe. 4) Manicure: On par with the pedicure. More cheapo scrubby gel. MYHANDSARESTILLROUGH. I came home and removed the polish because it was lumpy. My nail edges were not filed smooth and she did not remove the 3 hang nails. I’m so upset that I took my business here. Not a single service was acceptable. I am not a confrontational person but I really wish I would have spoke up and left.

What an awesome place! I just moved here and was looking for a new hair stylist. I have long blond hair and I’m really picky. Teri did such a great job! She was very meticulous. I feel so grateful to have found her. She did my hair just like I wanted. It’s perfect! The salon is beautiful too and has a great view. Everyone was so nice. I’ll be back! I’ve found a new fav!
