I love Vietnamese food. My in-laws are from Vietnam and I have had some of the best in Southern CA(including little Saigon). We ordered a bunch of stuff to bring home and share. Phở, Chi Gao, Spring Rolls and Bun Xau. The Chi Gao were really greasy, yes they are fried, but it was too oily and it tasted of old oil. The Bun Xau was also really greasy and had very little shrimp in it, mostly bean sprouts. The Phở was ok, again a little greasy, and the Spring Rolls were fair. They were not bad, but after all the greasy food we tried, they did not sit well. Maybe we should have tried those first. i keep hearing how great this place is, maybe they changed cooks? I hope so, i would love a great Phở near to me

The male waiters that work here are truly stupid and inattentive. They will not seat you and will not wait on the tables I waited for them to seat me and they never did completely ignoring me. The food in this place is good but the service from the male waiters is horrible.

My favorite phó joint in Oxnard! It’s fast and convenient for those on the Northside or central Nard. Love the spring rolls that comes with peanut sauce, the phó gá and many of the vermicelli dishes. So many great choices on the menu for those that want to venture away from just the soup. Service is adequate just don’t expect 5 star service. It’s a quick eat n go spot.

Usually good, but tonight they could not get their act together. Phoned in an order 20 min in advance and still had to wait 15 minutes when I got there. They got the order wrong but caught it before I left got home to realize they still got it wrong. Tried to call them a few times so they could have it ready when I got their but they would not answer the phone. I get there tell the guy at the register but instead of apologizing he say«we are busy». Still had to wait an additional 20 min. I didn’t order anything unusual. It was the house special. That is twice in the last couple of months that they mess things up. Next time I’ll go to the other phở place on Saviers«Phở First Choice». Too bad.

I am a big fan of this restaurant. I almost always have to stop at this place if I am passing Oxnard. I love their Seafood Phở! Good portion. Price is reasonable. On my last trip, I was little disappointed that they skimped on seafood a little but it still tasted GOOD! Place has nice interior and spacious floor, and kid friendly. We really enjoyed the free Wi-Fi as well. Can’t wait till I am in Oxnard again.

I was really on the fence about giving this place 5 stars, because it’s really amazing. Not only is this place cheap, like take your whole family for $ 40 cheap; but the quality is there. I’ve been going once a week for the last month which is unheard of for me, I am never that committed. I crave this place all the time and I always order the same thing, an order of egg rolls, a number 51&53(for my boyfriend of course). The size small is enough to fill us up both and half the time I can never finish mine. The atmosphere is what you would expect for a family run restaurant and you’d be missing out if you didn’t try this place.

Really good Vietnamese Phó. Ended up there one night and asked the server the best seller noodles soup; house special… So let’s try the house special. The soup was really good and of a good amount even if I ordered the normal size. House special has all the kind of meat and thin rice noodles; simple, tasty and definitely a score. I ordered Vietnamese tea with boba. Everything really good. Prices are amazing and perfectly balanced. Honestly thinking about going back tonight for dinner!

One of the few Vietnamese restaurants with freshest ingredients used in the appetizers, popular Phở and others. Reasonably priced too. A must try place.

Their soups are above average. Their rice dishes are decent. Their vermicelli bowls are below standard: huge portion vermicelli noodles served on a bed of lettuce without herbs, and the serving of meat/egg rolls/shrimp that comes with this dish is sadly small. They have very good service here. Whenever I order a non-soup dish, I always ask for a small cup of either chicken or beef soup, and they always serve it with my meal for free.

Yummy! Perfect for that chilly Oxnard Fall weather not to mention healthy. It straight cleared my lingering cold today. My friend picked up some phở for us from here for lunch. I did the beef phở. The broth was so yummy and the beef was very lean and tasteful. My only complaint is that the online menu was super tiny and unreadable so I wasn’t able to pick out what I wanted and had her pick for me once she got there. For that I took off one star.

Had dinner here last night with my family. The place looked pretty busy and let me just say I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. The restaurant was lit up with these cute lamps that hung from the ceiling, a couple of televisions for your viewing pleasure, and was very well kept. When we walked in we were seated right away at a booth table and were graced with two servers. The male server took our orders while the woman supervised. I’m guessing a new trainee, because he was a bit confused with one of my orders and asked the woman for help. I ended up ordering their house special with a coconut milk tea boba, my bf ordered the chicken and shrimp fried rice with a lemon soda, and last my sister ordered the shrimp rice cake egg noodle soup with a green milk tea boba. Within 10 minutes or less our order arrived. I was amazed how generous they are with the large serving of phở. I struggled finishing the last bit of soup and noodles and my coconut milk tea boba was very delightful. Overall, I enjoyed my experience there. They had such a large menu I wouldn’t mind coming back to try a few more dishes. The only let down of our visit was that my sister ordered thick rice noodles with her soup and and instead received thin rice noodles. An understandable mistake which is why we’ll be giving them another visit.

My husband and I are regulars in this establishment we eat here probably 5 times a month. I wanted to update my review I have notice that the customer service has greatly improved. We get our water right away and the servers are very nice and make sure they get you seated right away. We got to know one of the servers who is very helpful and friendly who remembers us every time we see him. He even remembers what we order and like. It’s always nice to be remembered even for the simplest of things.

My girlfriend and I came in earlier today I ordered the phở #35. The broth was delicious it had great flavor and I’m the type of person that likes to compare it with other phở restaurants. The fried rice was decent but I felt that it was lacking flavor. They have are usually busy but they have a well attentive staff. This place is good but not my PHO choice. You see what I did there.

I’ll be honest and say I have been going to the phở place down the road for forever. I don’t know how long this place has been around and I can’t believe I didn’t know about it’s existence until last night. I was craving phở last night and a friend who lives down the street recommended this. We were met by a friendly guy when we walked in and seated right away. We lucked out because they were closing in 45 minutes. Some people were turned away 30 mins later. I digress. I’ve been on a vermicelli kick lately so I got the #69. My niece got the wonton soup — #59. My other friend also got the #69 and her boyfriend got the combo phở. We all also got bobas. The green tea was by far the best. The taro and almond were also good, but the green tea was superior in flavor. Verdict — the food is great. I ate my whole bowl. As did my friends. My niece tapped out halfway, but she always does. We also finished the spring roll and friend wontons. The dip that came with both was so good. Also, nice touch on adding lettuce with the noodles in the vermicelli. I also appreciated how clean the place was. Same for the bathroom. And I liked that they had tvs, but not too many or loud so it wasn’t distracting. We shall be back.

QUEPINCHEASCO! Had dinner at Phở on Friday night and In my boyfriends soup he found a cockroach! Please beware and do not eat there unless you want some free cockroaches in your meal. Stay away!

I have lunch with my Japanese friends every week and we had Vietnamese for this week. My friend had this restaurant menu so we ordered some dishes to go on the phone in advance, picked up and ate them at our friend’s place. We ordered Spring Rolls, Pan-Fried Rice Flour Crêpe, Filet Mignon Crispy Egg Noodle, Grilled marinated beef with vermicelli patties and Combination Fried Rice. That was good enough for 4 people… it cost about $ 43. Inside the restaurant is clean, staffs were friendly.

Phở Oxnard is my «second» favorite phở spot in Oxnard. I work on the north side and when I don’t have the time to get to Saigon this is my go-to place. Their service is always good and their food is on point. I don’t know exactly what it is with Saigon, mint maybe? Jimmy’s crazy character? But they definitely have an edge. With all that said, phở oxnard is still solid and you won’t be disappointed. My favorites are the 69, which proves how immature I still am every time I blush ordering it… lol, and the rare beef soup(forget the number.) I add about 4 to 5 spoons of chili to both meals since in my opinion phở without a mild runny nose just isn’t phở at all. The only con of this whole shopping center is parking. Tip: If time is of the essence, don’t park in front of the restaurant during peak hours, park across the way. Sometimes people just won’t wait and it takes a few minutes until someone will actually stop and let you back out. Last thing you need after a good meal is a frustrating parking lot experience. Try it or Diet Final Word For Phở on the Northside of Oxnard, definitely try it.

Stopped here last night for dinner with my husband and things aren’t as wonderful as they used to be. Staff seemed new and uncertain about the menu or what was in different dishes. The recipes are the same, but my husband heard that the old owners are now 100% at the Camarillo location and that this location is now being run by someone else. Service issue examples: my husband asked for soda water and our sever didn’t know what that was and said they didn’t have it. We said he’d gotten it every time before and the server checked and then brought it out, apologizing for the confusion. I ordered spring rolls with only shrimp, no pork and asked if I could have mint added inside. Our server said«I think it comes with mint inside already…» I said no(as it has never come inside without my asking in the dozens of times I’ve come here over the last 5 years). I jokingly offered that it should though! I was then served spring rolls with both pork and shrimp and no mint inside. I sent the plate back for a corrected order. Food(once correct) tasted the same(which is amazing), but service was a little awkward and lackluster. The food will probably still get me to return here, but I might have to take more trips out to Camarillo for their second location and the staff/owners I’m used to. 5 stars for food 2.5 stars service 3.5 stars atmosphere/comfort
