The food here is amazing!!! My favorite is the rice noodles with the egg rolls!!! Yum. The area is kind of run down, but the food makes up for it. The dining area is tight but manageable. The only thing i think they Should consider changing is the tight location. Ive come here multiple times and will definitely return on a regular basis.

This place is by far the best Vietnamese food ever! Trust me I’ve had a few and this is the place that can’t be beat! I’m not from here but when I go to port Hueneme 1 weekend a month, this is my go to place! The best phở ever! Their rice dishes is amazing as well! Packed with flavor and amazing dishes! If you are nearby stop by this place! Trust me you will never be disappointed! Btw service is great as well!!! It gets packed sometimes specially during lunch/dinner hours but worth the wait!

#26 is my favorite phở here; it comes with shrimp, pork, thick noodles, and green onions in the soup, and on the side are fresh cut jalapeños, bean spouts, lemon grass, and a lime. I like to add their spicy red sauce(so spicy and tasty!) and I like to chop the jalapeños more so they are more consistent in the soup. It’s delicious! #56 is also a really good choice; it comes with egg rolls, charbroiled pork, rice, a tomato/onion salad, and another pork product. It comes with this yummy dipping sauce! The service is always good, especially with Jimmy always here to help out and politely speak with customers. You are almost always guaranteed a no wait(at least the times I’ve came) and the food is prompt and hot. Definitely come check this place out!

I came in for my very first time today and I must say, I have never experienced such fantastic costumer service in my life. My server was Jim and, my goodness, was he amazing. But first the food: the phở was more flavorful than any other phở I have had in Ventura County. It didn’t need any additives; though I love heat, so I added some Sriracha. Jim say me and brought over some chili oil to add — I haven’t done that before, so that was my first lesson from Jim. I then ordered a late plate of egg rolls, and let me tell you about that Jim taught me: if you order the plate with lettuce, the egg rolls become irresistible! He taught me how to set up THAT sauce too! Today, I got amazing food, superb service and a lesson in phở. I’m so happy I decided to come in. This is an establishment that I will definitely come back to and I would recommend to all my family and friends. Again, Jim was the absolute best server I have experienced; thank you Jim!!!

The service was great, Jim was great, and the food even better. I haven’t found a place this tasty in LA yet. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Also, not only do you get delicious food, the portions are big enough to fill you up and still have some to take home :) My order was: Broken Rice Plate 45 — egg cake thing(super good) — meatball patty(also delicious) — charbroiled pork — pork skin — rice — veggie salad — pork consommé Egg rolls(the best I’ve had in a long time)

It’s a Sunday night and it’s utter madness– the«to-go» line has enough guests to rival the amount of guests sitting at booths and tables, the phones ringing off the hook and it seems like there’s a new bus-boy starting his shift during one of the busiest nights possible. Add to that a toddler yanking me in 10 different directions as we stand in line? Whoa. Typically conditions like these are enough to turn anyone off but as always Jimmy’s running the show, making sure everyone is taken care of and made to feel important. He’s placing orders, expediting orders and providing awesome customer service in general. The food is amazing, the price can’t be beat and attentiveness and warm welcomes we receive each time will keep us loyal customers for many years to come. Bonus– they have a fish-tank. The tiny human wanted to make sure everyone knew~

The thing that separates this place from all the other Phở is the Meat! It’s trimmed. I am so impressed.

Outstanding food! The Phở was amazing and so was the Com Tam(rice dish) for a Vietnamese restaurant to have both items and to prepare it so well is amazing. Our server was Jimmy and he was superb. 10⁄10 experience and my g/f loved the food as well being her first time. Im Vietnamese myself and eating here reminded me of my homeland. Thank you Phở Saigon!

I’ve been here one time, and that will definitely not be the last. I’m pretty easy to please when it comes to Phở, and since I work in Oxnard, I’m just a five minute drive from their location. The staff are so friendly, and when I came to pick up my order to-go, I knew I’d be back and a long-time returner.

It seems like our little vacation has turned into Unilocaling places we visited for food. Tonight was absolutely awesome. The staff are extremely happy and Johnny on the spot with service. I ordered the Chicken Phở. I also followed what other Unilocalers were suggesting to taste the broth before you put anything in. Boy was very happy I did. It was by far the best Phở broth I’ve tasted. We also ordered Spring Rolls that were outstanding. Diffidently a must try!!!

I don’t know if it was because I was starving but dannnnnnng, the Phở I ordered today was freakin’ amazing. Something inside me said, «try the broth before adding anything»(perform the true Phở taste test). I’m so glad I did because the broth here is so delicious, even without adding Sriracha, Jalapeños or even that fresh squeeze of lime juice. Customer Service? Cool people and quick. Portions? You can easily share their one size bowl between 2 people which is great because the price per bowl is reasonable averaging, $ 7.50 per bowl. ***The broth to noodle/meat ratio? Broth: 50% Noodles: 15% Meat: 35% Definitely more broth and meat versus noodles, which I’m totally okay with! I was able to consume about 1⁄3 of my soup and had enough left overs for a late lunch snack. I’m excited to take my husband here, who is an avid Phở Fan. Like any other Phở Restaurant, they also have many non-phở dishes: rice plates, many appetizers and noodle dishes. I am definitely a Phở Saigon Fan!

I’ve been coming to Phở Saigon since their previous location near Five Points in Oxnard. Their quality has never changed. Their customer service is excellent! So far everything I’ve ordered here, like the famous house special Phở soup, broken rice dishes, phở bowls without soup, and their vermicelli rice patties have all been so delicious!!! It’s been difficult to narrow down my favorites but I enjoy trying something new every time. Vegetables are fresh and the food quality is excellent… I really have NO complaints! BUT if you aren’t a fan of fish sauce, beware that it is in everything. My husband is terrified of fish and hates seafood, but he has NOIDEA that the amazing flavors are from the sweet fish sauce. Thanks Phở Saigon for another amazing meal! I love that you guys always serve my food extra fast and super hot :) It feels like home here!

This place gets very busy but it’s worth the wait. Jimmy makes you feel at home and really knows the value of superb customer service. The spring rolls were delicious and fresh. The vermicelli was excellent and both the charbroiled pork and chicken were tasty too.

Based on recommendations from friends and other Unilocalers, my family and I went here for dinner on a Sunday night around 5:30pm. The place was spacious and half full, and we were seated quickly. After ordering, we received our food in less than 10 minutes. My parents shared the #9 beef phở, my sister ordered the #6 beef house special, and I had the #16 shrimp and pork wonton bowl. The beef phở came with a darker broth and rice noodles, and the wonton bowl came with a lighter colored broth and yellow egg noodles. Mine was delicious, and I was able to finish off the whole bowl easily. The wontons weren’t huge, but they were tasty. When I tried the other bowls, I was surprised to find how different the two broths were, and in the end I decided that I liked mine the best due to the lighter(and shrimp-y) flavor. They agreed that their bowls came with a good amount of meat, but my sister didn’t realize the #6 came with parts of meat she didn’t particularly like(such as tripe and tendon) and ended up putting them to the side. One thing I was a little disappointed in was the lack of cleanliness in the bathrooms. The stalls themselves were fine, but then I walked to the sink area, there was a huge mess of paper towels spilling out of the trashcan and all over the floor… nothing a quick cleaning run couldn’t fix though. The total came to $ 24 before tip(around $ 7.50 per order + tax), which is about average for phở. Overall, a good, quick dinner at a reasonable price. I would probably come back if in the area and in the mood for phở.

This is the best Phở place in Ventura County. Compared to Basil in Camarillo, it is night and day. I actually didn’t order the Phở because I get nervous eating Phở anywhere other than OC hah… However, my husband did and it wasn’t disappointing. Broth is the most important part followed by the noodles and they were both flavorful! I ordered the Wonton egg noodles and for me, it was better the next day after reheating it up as left overs(I love leftovers!!). Maybe I was so full from all the appetizers we ordered the day of to fully enjoy my entrée. Either way, the best dish I had that day I would say is the fried tofu with spicy soy sauce dip on the«secret menu.» I would probably be coming back just for that! Cons: Their spring rolls were mediocre, they didn’t have the dessert drink I wanted, prices are expensive for a Phở place, and it’s further from us. Otherwise, good go-to Phở place in Ventura :)

What a breath of fresh air! It’s great when you find a vietnamese establishment that has friendly staff and actual service! Guess I’m too used to the antics of Westminster. Very clean inside and good amount of seating. TVs and whatnot around. Typical menu variety. Ordered the grilled pork vermicelli. Pork wasn’t too fatty and had good flavor. Solid. Got to sample the phở tai as well. Was good. Highly recommended if you’re looking for Vietnamese food.

Yesterday I went to visit a good friend in Oxnard for the afternoon/early evening. My friend recommended this place and said it’s really good and that I’ll really love it! There are other Phở Saigon locations in the SGV area, but those places didn’t give me a lasting impression like this place. Is this place something to write home about? We shall find out! Location: Located in a small strip mall. Plenty of parking to go around. Credit card: Accepted! Hail Yes! Ambiance/Décor: Very clean and lighting was perfect with a touch of modern with their décor and from what I obsterved this place caters more to non-asians also. This is probably because this city and surrounding cities are primarily caucasion or hispanic. Service was exceptional. I also love the fact that this is a family owned business. It is true folks… Jimmy the owners son comes out and greets his guests and asks how everything is. Not many places do that and most importantly I usually value service over food. Brownie points for you sir! Food: I ordered the bun thit nuong cha gio. I really liked it! The charboiled pork had a lot of flavor and wasn’t burnt like the places that I’ve been to in the San Gabriel Valley or Orange County. There was plenty of fresh ingredients to induldge. The only thing difference was that the eggroll were smaller. The nuoc mam complimented the vermicelli, egg rolls, vegetables, and charboiled pork perfectly! The smell was distinctive and oh so goood! Tip: Add some hoisin and sriracha sauce Reaction: Great rest stop to get your viet food fix before heading off to your toursty stops of Salvang and Santa Barbara. If you live in this area, you are very lucky! :)
