Starbucks

Was very upset I placed an order before my lunch break so I could pick up my food and drink and not waste much of my short lunch break. I arrived and neither my food or drink were ready. Not a good experience using the app to order ahead of time.

Such a convenient location! The staff here are excellent — they’re all very service-​oriented and willing to go the extra mile. I didn’t know that the whipped cream was handmade — that’s spectacular! Love mobile ordering too. Always a lovely experience.

Dirty, crowded, noisy, too small, and surprisingly run-​down. (Broken chairs.) Poor building planning for being in The Collection, because it simply cannot accommodate the crowds during peak times. I also don’t appreciate that they didn’t have a full menu up. Only the most popular coffee drinks. NO menu for non-​caffeinated drinks. You have to look up the menu online before coming in, or you’ll be starting at blank boards. Very sub-​par to most Starbucks stores. Walked in, looked around a bit, and walked right back out. No thanks.

Worse customer service ever. I live in the area and although this is literally minutes from my home every single time I come in here they cannot get my drink right and get attitudes from the employees when I ask about my drink being made wrong.

The Starbucks at the Collection delivered everything I had expected in coming to a Starbucks. The employees were very social and helpful; I received my drink in a timely manner and had no complaints on them. Overall, great visit.

This is a nice Starbucks location at The Collection in Oxnard. It is a great place to grab a drink and a snack while walking around the mall area.
The store is roomy and open. The ordering area and pickup area are not near the entrance so it does not get clogged up with people waiting for their drinks. There are plenty of tables inside and out to sit at as well as a long bar table that you can take a seat at. The times that I have been at this location, the tables as well as the store were clean and well kept.
The customer service here is good. Our drinks are always right and come out in a timely manner, even when it is busy. The employees are friendly and helpful.

For what it is, it isn’t bad. Typical chain starbucks. Same feel, same items, you get what you expect. The staff is friendly and attentive and the place is somewhat clean, although they could put more effort into cleaning tables and restocking items since the place is slow and empty. The staff gives about a 50% effort. So it’s not terrible, but I would definitly prefer to see a local mom-​and-​pop type of coffee shop here instead.

This Starbucks is especially slow and inefficient. The do the «clover» procedure for drip coffee, which makes the coffee bitter while taking as much time as an espresso drink
I find the Starbucks in the target nearby better– the employees there are much more polite and personable and it’s rarely as busy.

I came into Target to shop on Sunday morning (Memorial Day weekend). I figured I’d grab a coffee and do some shopping, but when I walked into the store, the line to Starbucks was pretty long with only one girl working behind the counter. I decided to try them back on my way out but about an hour later, after checking out, the line was still going steady. Same solo girl running around helping the customers. I wasn’t in a rush, so I decided to brave the line. When I got up to order I was greeted by an up beat, friendly, hard worker named Ari. She treated each customer with personalized positivity despite the fact that she was probably feeling a lite desperate for a break from the constant chaos. It’s that kind of customer service that deserves recognition and will keep me coming back as a repeat customer! Thanks Ari! Great job!

The vibes are super laid back… I dig laid back.
Even with the non stop grinding and similar noises, you are still able to manage a decent conversation. And even if it gets too crowded they have a solid Lounge area on both sides outside. to the best of my recollection, I have not once had a bad experience at this location. all of the baristas are very friendly and knowledgeable.
OHHH! And a gigantic p. s. is that this location has a clover machine which means they have Starbucks reserved coffees now you cannot find everywhere. take advantage and have yourself a quality cup in a «for here» mug. Okay, that is all…

Had to wait long then wait green tea not ready then oh we are out of Splenda. No sorry no May we get you something else just do you want your Green tea ?? NO I DONT. Really out of Splenda ??? Or just the 6 people behind the counter just do not want to look for it???

Ehh! Almost yuck. Not a shining star as far as coffees go, they certainly do not fit the Starbucks mold. Way too much milk for an Espresso Machiato, maybe they’re trying to hide a bad batch of roast under an ocean of milk. I’m disappointed!

I am a huge starbucls junkie. I love this starbucks because of the relations with theor customers. The manager Samantha seems like a great manager! I met her once and thought she was rude and realized it was me because the next time i realized she is such a sweet heart. Kevin is great! Everytime he is working and I see him there I leave in a better mood. They are all great.

Tanya and the morning crew are literally the only thing that makes me smile this early in the morning

Well, for what it is, a fast food coffee shop, they do a very good job.
I think this place gets a lot of bad rep. from all of the prima donnas that visit it expecting to be treated like royalty all the time. But honestly their staff is way better most other SB locations.
They always serve you with a smile, regardless of how early it is and no matter how many people are in line.
I guess I am a little biased because this particular location is close to my house but seriously though the service is much better than others.
Another plus is that they have a clover machine that makes the coffee super good and strong!
To sum it up, I don’t really think that SB needs reviews on this site to get people to go to it but I just wanted to let everyone know that the staff here is much, much better than most other SB in the area.
So if you happen to be visiting Riverpark and get a craving for a coffee with a smile, stop by and enjoy a cup of fresh brewed java here.

Hmmmm, one of the most unorganized starbucks ever. There’s always very long wait, very loud and seems like theres always tons of kids in there. It’s weird. I love kids but Ive never been in a Starbucks where there are kids running all around like a playhouse last time I was there, i ordered a blended Americano, just ice and coffee. She made a coffee frappuccino. Twice. Asked what was in it, she didn’t know the cashiers gave two different answers. I was asking because I work in fitness and needed to know what was in the drink, which I didn’t think was ridiculous but They all seem like they’re new and unaware of the ingredients which is frustrating. Haven’t gone again since that drink-​question fiasco

It’s a free standing starbucks complete with wifi. Unlike the ones inside Ralphs or Albertsons.

This store location is gorgeous. I swung by here with my friend for a caffeine fix. We were able to park at a meter right out front which was very convenient. It’s fairly easy to get onto and off of the freeway to this location.
This place was bustling, probably because we got there during the frappuccino happy hour. I ordered a light java chip frappuccino. The service was fast and I got what I ordered. There are large tables which were filled by middle schoolers on their laptops. I probably wouldn’t come here hoping to find seating but overall I am impressed with this location and with what Oxnard is doing at the Collection.

I wanna say thank you to this Starbucks for providing me a second home these past few weeks in preparation for the DAT (Dental Admissions Test) :D
I LOVE the Starbucks at the Collection because it’s really clean, new and I feel like not a lot of people study here (though they might catch on based on my review lol). There are always tables available with a couple chairs and a large communal table with stools. They have two separate bathrooms for women and men available so you don’t have to wait if it was a single bathroom.
Honestly, other than the location close to home, it’s really the baristas that make it worth coming back to study here. They are all really friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to chat with :)
I definitely recommend this Starbucks over any other location and you bet I will be returning back ;D
