Starbucks

It’s been a hit or miss for me at this location but I normally get a descent experience.
This location can get crazy busy depending on what time I go.
The parking can be a bit of a challenge.
The drinks are usually made right especially if you are very specific about how you order it like extra hot no foam.
If Matt is there he is always friendly and says hello.

I asked for whip cream top and bottom but only received it on the top. When the lady was done with my drink she just left it on the counter and didn’t say anything or look at me, I was waiting for her to though. I wouldn’t have known that was my drink if I didn’t get up to check. And if I didn’t get up and check it would’ve just been sitting there. I saw and heard her calling the names when she set the drinks on the counter, but for some reason she didn’t call my name nor get my order right.

Fast and friendly services. Bathroom is well kept. Lots of tables for group work or meetings and beautiful outdoor seatings

This was the worse experience I ever had at a Starbucks. The cashier was talking to a coworker so I stood at the register for about 45 seconds before I was even acknowledged. Then he had to ask me what size after I ordered my drink because he wasn’t listening. Then when the lady made my drink she just pushed it to me on the counter without even looking at me. Didn’t call out the drink or say thanks or anything. Very disappointing. The only good thing here was that they were playing Bob Dylan

AWESOME service. I don’t go to any other Starbucks! I go out of my way to work every morning just to come to the esplanade Starbucks. They have the best baristas :)

This was by far the strangest Starbucks location I’ve ever been to. While my family and I were deciding on what to order the staff gossiped and were very unprofessional. We were the only ones in the store at the moment but I felt like I came in after closing or something they just acted as if no one was there. We ordered anyway and two drinks came up pretty quick and when I said thank you to a barista she just grimaced, I definitely felt unwanted there. My sisters drink took awhile for them to make and standing there listening to them talk felt awkward and at one point they discussed how much tips they made at another location. I was shocked. I don’t usually write reviews but every other Starbucks I’ve been to the staff were really professional and friendly. At this one I had the opposite treatment and I wish I hadn’t even gone in. They finished making the drinks and as we were leaving two more groups came in and they seemed to act the same. Giving it two stars because the drinks were made fine but the employees here were just so unprofessional, it baffled me. I would not come here again.

This is my favorite Starbucks! The collection has a new one which is closer to my office, however, the service and vibe here is AWESOME! I don’t mind driving an extra mile. They know you by your first name & always suggest new drinks. Eric is quick to get you in and out, and he is always in a great mood. They truly make the Starbucks experience great!

I come to this location almost everyday. I came in today ordered a grande hazelnut latte with whip and my cup felt very light than usual. I was rushing to work so i didnt even bother to ask or check my drink. When i got to work opened my cup and found a half empty coffee. I was upset because I expect atleast a decent amount for the money I paid for ($ 4+) I’ve been coming to this location almost everyday and its so convinient for me. Maybe I need to find a new location.

They took 20 min for 2 drinks because they forgot about 1 and I was accused of stealing right after I paid for something

Matt and Eric never let me down! They always know my order when I walk thru the doors and they provide the quality customer service I expect from Starbucks. Even when the line is out the door these gentlemen know how to control the crowd and I never have to wait long because they work in a timely manner. This is the ONLY Starbucks in Oxnard I will go to. They should really be the models of customer service for this chain. Keep up the GREAT work Esplanade Team! You guys rock #SatisfiedCustomer

I love that I can update my review. This is my friends favorite Starbucks so she takes me here. And it was very clean and staff is always great!

Perfect for a quick stop right before jumping onto (or off of) the 101 freeway. Nice thing is there’s an open Subway & Jamba Juice about 200 ft away. So if sweet pastries aren’t your thing first thing in the morning, remember, you got options.

Thanks for providing internet for us college students, great drinks and food. You guys are awesome!

This starbucks is always too busy for me. I can never go before work because it takes too long. Leaving my house an extra half hour early just for coffee is not cool. But i do love starbucks coffee in general. And this one always has fresh baked goods.

This review is for the staff working today 5 P.M. I came in to purchase the 14 oz mugs this afternoon, the only main purpose of my visit. I brought the red mugs in the register to pay for them. The cashier informed me that they didn’t have any bags to put my mugs. That was quite understandable, however no effort were made to ensure that the mugs will not break as I walk off the store. I requested to have the mugs wrapped with newspaper, tissue paper, etc. something of that sort so that I can transport my mugs safely. The barista nor any of the employees offered to wrap up my mugs after paying them. Instead they handed me paper towels so I could do them myself.
I didn’t know that Starbucks is now self-​service. I am very disappointed with their lack of sense (hello, mugs break). Don’t get me wrong — I still love Starbucks, just please train this branch with a little more CUSTOMER SERVICE & provide them with some common sense.

I came here once before while out shopping in the land of the ‘Nard and they were closed due to a remodel… ON A WEEKEND??!
So, now here I am again, out shopping and I open up my Unilocal!app to find the nearest Starbucks… They were open this time!
They provided excellent service, the staff along with the patrons were all in the best of spirits, making my visit a most pleasurable one!

I visit this Starbucks at 6am at least once a week and they are always ready for the early crowd which I appreciate. They are awake and friendly. I will say that the consistency with Batista’s that make the drinks are not there. Sometimes I can have a really good drink and somethings it’s just so-​so. This location is nice and easy to get to from the freeway that is why I stop here.

they always get my order right whether it’s a white mocha frap, java chip, tuxedo, green tea chai, etc.
never seems to slow down here but then again, the esplanade is always busy. there’s always skaters, business men & women, teenyboppers, & when 24hour was across the street, there used to be a few people who came from the gym to indulge in a guilty frap.
staff is incredible. always upbeat & lively. cat, ashley, & crystal would have to be my favorites. seems like they always make my drinks better than i expect.
as well as that hot guy. definitely don’t mind a delicious hunk making my drink.

OMG, can you believe it… Another Starbucks

I had no idea this Starbucks was even in the neighborhood… go figure.
I am not a coffee drinker but my wife was in need of some late-​night caffeine since she was doing a late shift at work. I did a quick search online and at 10 minutes before they closed raced over to get what she wanted from this Starbucks location. (It had something to do with a peppermint mocha.)
It was a bit hard to find since it is tucked in the corner over by Jamba Juice in the Esplanade shopping center but I finally saw it over on the T-​Mobile store side. There really is not much in the way of Starbucks signs on the shopping center side so you do have to kind of look for it.
I got there seriously two minutes before close… maybe two people on their laptops left in the store and one customer. I assumed that they would have closed since many retail places end up closing a couple minutes early. You know how it is… you show up at a retail store or restaurant a couple minutes before close and half the time they are already closed or the person who helps you gives you attitude because they want to get out of there. Not only were they open but they made my order fast and exactly like my wife wanted. I had her drink over to her at work 5 minutes later and she was very, very happy.
And seeing her happy makes me happy. 4 solid stars.
