Wingstop

I actually like getting food at this Wing Stop. It can get busy, so if you’re in a hurry I recommend you order your food ahead online or on the phone. Otherwise expect 10 – 25 minute wait times. Theres a small area for dining, around 6 – 8 tables (2 tables seat a couple) (4 – 6 tables seat 4). So don’t plan on bringing a huge party over.
Parking can be a pain since its in the Walmart Shopping Center on Rose. & they are doing construction on that same side (heard its gonna be a Starbucks). Great, just more reason to fight for parking smh lols.
I’ve been getting the boneless wings lately, plain, & I like trying the new sauces on the side. I don’t care for having my food all drenched in sauce, esp if its the mango habanero. Oowee, now that is spicyy. Haha.
They have one of those new soda touch screens w/​lots of choices of drinks. Lots!
& They have 2 tv’s on opposite sides of the room…
I’ve gotten pretty good service during my times here, I’ll be a repeat customer :)

The food is likely a health hazard. The fries are great. They are likely baked or fries slightly. The wings should be checked for expiration date. I had stomach ache for two days after. Health inspectors please check this place. The mock up KFC and TGIF is an attraction for lonely people or thugs with a bad taste.

Went and picked up some wings as usual and wanted to give credit where credit is due.
(Order was on Wednesday, 3/​2, pick up at 6pm)
Placed my order online, showed up 10 minutes early, and as soon as I walked in, the Manager named Tina I believe, asked if I had been helped, I explained that I had an order that had been submitted online and should be ready in 10 minutes. She quickly asked my name, asked her team to see if they could expedite my order as I had arrived early. She was very interactive, very professional, and courteous. Great Job Tina…

Lemon pepper wings all the way! I usually order the 10 piece traditional wings half mild and half lemon pepper. I would have never thought of ever trying lemon pepper wings if it wasn’t for my husband having me try his from Wingstop. This place is now my favorite wing place to go especially when on the go. They’re very fast and very efficient. Not once have I ever had a messed up order from this Wingstop. I would recommend going here to anybody, it is my favorite wing place!

Awful service. Only one star for the mediocre food.
Gave this location two tries and each experience was horrible.
First time I ordered online, when I arrived I was rudely told that their location doesn’t do online orders due to a glitch and that I should have called on the phone. I asked them why their site offers it for this location and I was basically ignored and then asked what i wanted to order. again. No apologies or anything for the inconvenience. Then I proceeded to wait 30 mins, for an order that they told me would take 20 mins. I was on my lunch break from work and it was a huge waste of time.
Second visit, I went ahead and placed a phone order for my coworkers and I to pick up on our break, again. I was told it would be ready in 20 mins. Knowing it would probably take them longer based on the last experience, we arrived 10 mins later than when they told us to. Our order was still not ready and we still waited about another 20 mins. There were only 2 other small parties dining there and we just saw staff standing around in the back as we waited. Cashier was also extremely rude while reading off our order to us. Rolled her eyes when I corrected the name on the order. She originally couldn’t even find it because she took down the wrong name over the phone.

I’m so happy we got one in Oxnard and cam now! Obsessed with the wings !!! After being there for a few months now I never really have much of a problem with the order or a wait time. Good food !

I went the other day and I had a great experience. Juan (pretty sure that’s his name he had a man bun!) was great! His attitude was spot on. I was hungry and confused and I was giving bitchy vibes but he kept his positive attitude and let me sample different sauces so I knew what I was getting and made sure I was satisfied. I got Mango Habanero, Classic, and lemon pepper. Lemon pepper was my favorite! Perfect blend of citrus and spices. The classic was your basic buffalo wing nothing special. And the mango habanero weren’t terribly spicy but they had really good flavor. Definitely going back!

Was super excited to try wing stop here in Ventura cause it was my spot when I was in Colorado. I was disappointed really cause it was no where near as good as Colorado. But I’m willing to give it a try again cause it was packed on the Friday night.

Meh. Neither here nor there. The place is alright with the food being mediocre. It’s a small little place with not much seating. This doesn’t seem to be a problem anymore though as most people prefer going across the street to Buffalo Wild Wings. I wish wing stop had Wing specials like wild wings. I would for sure frequent this establishment more if the did.

I love buffalo wings, and sometimes it is challenging trying to find a good wing spot. The wigs here are not the best, but the sauces are really delicious. The actual wings are small in size and tough meat. I will only order take out from here as the restaurant is not very appealing to dine in. I suggest checking your orders before leaving the store as we have had missing items on more than one occasion. If you are in the mood for wings this place will do the trick, but don’t expect top quality chicken.

I’m all for places that stay open late. They become another option to cure the hunger pains or people who dine late and not want the food you can get from waiting in a drive-​thru. You have to get me pretty upset to get a one star rating. It’s not like my order was difficult to put together. I didn’t order a 10-​piece combo, wanted half to be extra crispy and the remainder to be cooked normally and/​or wanted all drums.
The only challenging task the employees of this Wingstop couldn’t complete was I wanted cheese fries with my combo. I was informed there would be an additional charge which I had no problem with. About 10 minutes later, my name gets called and when I get to the front, the employee proceeds to read off my order and it was correct.
Now, most people here would double check their bag to make sure they got everything that was ordered. I didn’t feel the need to because I didn’t order the entire menu or anything out of the ordinary. I get home and I’m missing the damn cheese sauce to go with my french fries that I was already charged for. I was really set on trying them out for myself off a recommendation from someone I know who eats Wingstop regularly.
It wasn’t a big deal that required me to get back in my truck, drive back to Wingstop and ask they give me what I paid for. The employees don’t really want to be there and the wait time for food is longer than normal. Take this one star, Wingstop Oxnard.

Being that this establishment is in Oxnard, I didn’t have high hopes for it. But, turns out it’s pretty good as far as food quality and customer service. It’s located in an area that is fairly preoccupied, so parking right across from it may not happen, but you will find parking. after you order be prepared to wait, I’ve experience many customers get upset that it’s taking long. But keep in mind it is being made as you order, they don’t just have a stack of them ready to re-​heat for you. It’s with the wait when you get those deliciously warm wings. Highly recommend the lemon pepper and Hawaiian. A big tip to save you all that, order online and then pick up. Haven’t had issues with this establishment and recommend it.

This Wingstop is similar to all the others and the menu is standard. However, it seems like this place is very crowded and they’re often too rushed to do your order justice. In particular, the wings have way too much butter or oil and are just sitting in a puddle of grease. Also, I don’t seem to get many actual drumstick portions of the wings, just the smaller section. The fries also are not cooked enough and tend to be soggy. All of this is because they’re rushing and not putting out very good quality food.

Order online and then pick up your order. Easy peasy and you don’t have to wait forever. I’ve never been to the store, since my boyfriend always picks it up, but from the other reviews I’ve read, it doesn’t exactly sound like the best spot to eat in. Besides. I prefer to eat messy in the privacy of my own home where I can wash my hands with no problem. Cuz wings aren’t the neatest thing to eat.
I really really really like the original hot wings. I’m not big on spicy foods, but this one has just the right amount of kick to it that it won’t leave your mouth burning. Cuz what’s the point of eating if you can’t taste your food anymore?
Slather it with ranch and boom, instant tummy happiness.

Pretty long wait for food, especially when you’re hungry, 20 mins seems like forever. We ordered traditional wings and boneless. The traditional came out really crispy which is nice if you like that. Don’t order boneless with dry seasoning. They come out extremely hard, dry, and the seasoning just falls off. I had boneless with Cajun flavor and it was alright. I’d rather go to Buffalo Wild Wings across the street for boneless.
Besides the wait and fighting over the last tables available, there’s also a line for their one soda machine. It’s nice they have the dispenser with so many come options and flavors. But sometimes too many options is overwhelming for some and they stand at the machine forever trying to decide what they want.
Overall, the wait is too long for poor quality food.

Walked in, no line, ordered, receipt states order placed at 1:29pm. Many others after me come and order. One of them receives their food before me. I receive my food at 1:55pm, 11 minutes after they said I would.
Wake the cluck up Wingstop! No one cares how cute the cashiers are. Get me my damn chicken!

I am typically a Wingstop over BWW type of person. I understand that this joint is new, but wow get things together! Yes it was busy, but I’ve been to a Wingstop that was busy and got my order just FINE.
First visit, it was probably a week after opening. Ordered 15 wings/​boneless combo and fries with ranch and honey mustard sauce. I was told the wait would be about 20, well damn, but surprisingly my «order» was ready in about 10! I was happy and quickly walked out because it began to get busy. I checked the bag and I didn’t have any of my sauces so I went back in and got them. Came home, and what do you know, they forgot to give me my fries!
Second visit, was maybe a week and a half after the first time. Ordered online for 20 wings, with fries. Came about 20 minutes later to pay and pick up. And guess what, they didn’t get our order. Really? Does online ordering even work? So we placed our order AGAIN. Waited about another 20 minutes for our food. This time we made sure to check our order. Noticed that we didn’t get any ranch. So we asked for ranch, but its extra? I thought your wings just came with your choice of sauce on the side, they had asked me last time. Come on, we are ordering 20 wings! Geeze.
The wings are good, just service needs to be more tentative and work on the tweaks with online ordering. I’m sure it will get better. But always double check your order before stepping out the door!

Am I a fan of Wingstop? Yes, yes I am.
Is it as good as Dirty Birds in San Diego? No, but it’s good enough and it’s here in Ventura and I’ll take it!
I tried the lemon pepper, the teriyaki, the mango habernero, and the garlic parmesan. I am a huge fan of the mango habernero, perfect amount of sweet and spicy! Don’t get the teriyaki and the garlic parmesan, it’s not as flavorful or saucy. The lemon pepper was sour and salty and I would eat that one again.
Them butter rolls though! Don’t get one each, just buy the full half dozen or dozen! I am not kidding. If you a carb fanatic like I am, you will love this. Mildly sweet like Hawaiian bread but so savory! Yum!

Love this Place! Chicken is delicious! I get it with Hickory BBQ Sauce. They have Baked Beans, Potato Salad, Cole Slaw, Baked Bread Rolls and Fries. Everything was great.
