Great experience here! We flew into Elmira airport for a wedding and we were able to get into our room 2 hours early so that we could get ready. Carrie at the front desk was great! Everyone got a bottle of water at check in and check out. Very clean and moderns rooms with plenty of outlets. Breakfast was wonderful; French toast sticks, eggs, waffles, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruit! My only negative was that the walls were a little thin because we could hear our neighbors partying next door. Other than that, I would definitely recommend!

I’ve stayed in dozens of Hampton Inns across the country. This newer one offers all of the usual Hampton Inn amenities and was clean and relatively quiet, but it gets bonus points for having lots of electrical plugs in the room, and an above-average breakfast spread that included fresh berries. It’s a very short drive to the Corning Museum of Glass.

I almost always stay at Hampton Inns and this one was exemplary. They had snacks, punches and the staff was a delight. Rooms were clean and the views were gorgeous. For business travelers, Applebee’s up the street has a discount for Hampton guests.

The hotel is new and you can tell they put work into it. The bedroom was big and so was the bathroom/shower. Everything is brand new. However, the walls are thin and I was able to hear every conversation our loud neighbors were having. Breakfast was okay, not much of a selection, but that’s what you get for free food. There wasn’t a lot of space either, so people were table watching for the next free table. Front desk was nice and plenty of parking.

This is a good mid-line hotel. It is one of the newer hotels in the area. Room was comfortable though noisy — hallway traffic and neighbors moving about were loud. Breakfast was good. The biggest drawback was the meeting space — I don’t think this property has hosted many meetings and we had 20 folks in a room that would comfortably hold 15. Had to bring in plastic folding chairs because the hotel didn’t have enough«comfy» chairs for every participant. The ceiling-mounted projector required an HDMI connector — pretty unusual(I travel every week to present to clients — this is the first one I’ve seen). They had an HDMI cable — but didn’t have an HDMI connector for most laptops. Their suggestion? «Go buy one at Walmart.» The biggest issue was the AC noise in the meeting room. It was incredibly loud when it was running — like, jet engine loud. Very poor design for a meeting space. If you’re looking to host a meeting, I’d go elsewhere.
