PALMBEACH: Bice outdoors on a beautiful night is just wonderful. Run by guys who know what they are doing and who have been there long enough to know everyone, it’s a terrific restaurant for locals and tourists alike. It’s stood the test of time and is a favorite of ours. We were there last night and see that the inside has been re-modeled. While I don’t like change, I think this is for the better. That said, we only eat outdoors.

Fantastic Italian food. It’s on the expensive side but my risotto was outstanding. We ordered the Lasagna, fresh catch of the day, and the A la vodka, everything was delicious. The patio area out back gets super crowded with Palm Beach Islanders but the side patio is private and quiet. Service was great but it’s not cheap — $ 300 for 4 people, one of whom was a designated driver. Did I mention dessert? Warm apple pie a la mode was to die for! Thank you Jose!

This restaurant was a nice surprise. Our waitor was attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and the setting of sitting in the courtyard or in the main dining were both great options. The fresh bread is a nice touch. My husband had the lasagne which he liked and I had the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were lean and tasty and the pasta was homemade. I didn’t care for the sauce mych and neither did my husband but it grew on you as you are a never ending bowl of pasta. We both enjoyed our appetizer pizza.

I took my wife here last night for our 5th anniversary. A friend of mine from Boston recommended the chicken Parmesan, and said it was the best he had ever had. We split that and a half order of the bolognese. My observations; First, the food. The chicken parm really was one of the best I’ve had. It was prepared perfectly. The bolognese was excellent… I’ve had better but this is certainly top notch. Second, the service. It was fantastic. I asked the waiter to split everything and he didn’t flinch. They split the parm and the bolognese(so we each got a ¼ order of the bolo and ½ of the parm) and brought it out just as I asked. Some waiters and kitchen staff get very persnickety about splitting dishes and its quite frustrating — they will bring it out on one plate as if to prove a point. NONE of that here. Everything about the service was fantastic. I highly recommend this place!

Cannot believe this place has less than 4 stars. Came here for dinner on a Friday night while on vacation & it was excellent. My girlfriends & I enjoyed the caprese salad appetizer, eggplant, bow tie pasta & salmon(mine; perfect) & a special request Vegan penne pasta dish. The staff is so accommodating & attentive. The wine was refilled before ever near empty & the service was fast & professional. Id recommend this place for a girls night out, date night or solo. Excellent! Please go.

Beautiful courtyard, too bad it was way to hot to seat outside in the lunch time! It’s very Europian and classy, service was great and food super delicious! I had lasagna and it was one of the best I ever had! They have great selection of home made pasta!

Big menu with great food and very good service. Highly recommended. Burrata excellent(tomatoes could have been better). Orecchiette with broccoli rabe, garlic and Parmesan was outstanding. All other client and partner dishes looked great as well. For those however on a budget or gripe about prices –don’t come.

Warning for Celiacs! High risk of getting sick from mediocre food. Our server was obviously extremely inconvenienced and annoyed by my questions about what was safe for gluten free and celiac. He directed me to have the one thing on the menu that he knew was gluten free(gluten free pasta) and I had to request that he ask the kitchen what salads and vegetable appetizers were safe. The service was overall slow and bad, the food was mediocre. I had to send back one course when a gluten containing garnish was left on top. The rest of the table and me explained painstakingly that I had celiac, please remake the dish and don’t just take the gluten off the top. Our server made a rude comment and a joke under his breath that he wouldn’t repeat. Our whole table was frustrated by the service in general and uncomfortable by how the server was responding to the gluten free/celiac issue. Shortly after leaving the restaurant I became sick with the tell-tale signs of gluten contamination. I’m guessing that the dish garnished with gluten wasn’t remade but the servers general lack of concern(and potentially antagonism) there could have been a breakdown at multiple points. This was the worst restaurant experience I have had re: Celiac sensitivity amidst 7 years with diagnosed Celiac and frequent traveling, dining out and eating on the road. If you have any food allergies, please don’t ruin your vacation by eating here.

Last week while in town visiting, I enjoyed an early Sunday dinner with my Grandparents and our close friends at Bice. We were fortunate to eat in the BEAUTIFUL courtyard at a round table. It is truly an experience. The staff was top notch! To begin, three of us had a «small» portion of Fettuccini Alfredo(It was a generous size appetizer!). It was not on the menu but my Grandpa and his friend are always bending the rules and pushing the boundaries in restaurants; teasing, laughing and joking — in the best of ways! One of the other highlights on the table was the Eggplant Parmigiana. For an entrée my Grandpa insisted that I order the Dover Sole. It was delicious — something new for me and combined with the backdrop and company, it was a night I will not forget. Someone else described their Linguine and Clam Sauce as super fresh with the pasta being perfectly al dente. Bice is a Palm Beach classic. If you have the opportunity, go for it! Sit OUTSIDE :)

pri ‘tenCHes — adjective — 1) attempting to impress by affecting greater importance, talent, culture, etc., than is actually possessed; 2) the staff at Bice(excluding the bus help). We enjoyed a day of seeing WPB via scooters and found this place hoping for a casual Saturday lunch. The crowd consisted of women decked out in designer suits/dresses with platform heels(on a Saturday afternoon?) and then there was the scooter crowd. Oh wait, that was us being made to feel very out of place by the management staff. I didn’t have a problem with the prices, it is what one would expect in that neighborhood, but the food was rather mediocre. Perhaps it was because it was Mother’s Day weekend, but we were interrupted in our lunch by saleswomen from nearby shops peddling clothes or jewelry. Seriously? Can’t I have a private lunch with my family without being solicited? The last time I was hassled so much at a lunch was when I had to grab something quick at a McDonalds in downtown Chicago and fought off the homeless people. If you hold yourself off to be a fine restaurant, then please, let your patrons eat in peace and keep the saleswomen from circling like vultures.

I go to Biche once a year, for the past 4 years. My grandma loves the place. Sitting inside is a very different experience than sitting outside. Inside: Cold, bustling, dark lighting. Outside: Awesome. The food is average hear; if you come from a big city you’ll be disappointed by the prices and the quality. Food is standard, classic Italian with a generous dose of olive oil. Pastas are fine, if handmade it’s not done the day of. Their fish is good albeit very traditional(e.g. branzini, salmon). Skip their soups, they are not memorable.

Disappointing. On the plus side we were seated immediately at a table outside, which is a really nice area. I ordred a Manhattan. I think you can tell a lot about a restaurant by the way they make a classic cocktail. Well this one was terrible. Not a good start. The Caesar salad was very bland. The chicken special I had was pretty good. This after dinner coffee was so weak it tasted like dish water. But the service was pretty good. I should add that the outdoor dining area must be pet friendly, as I counted at least five dogs on leashes. The valet parking was very good, but that it’s not enough. I won’t go back.

ok, so it’s definitely decent food. the ambiance rocks for lunch, especially if you sit outside. the service is nice and friendly too, but the food itself is a bit overrated and overpriced. i am okay with spending money on good food. it’s something i value. it’s just, for these prices, i should be paying for not only the ambiance, but also the food. not sure i’ll return.

When we are in town we stay at the breakers hotel and love it. The concierge recommended bice. So with that we felt that are expectations were high. When we arrived we were seated right away… That was the only pleasant thing about our dining experience. The music was loud and the busier the restraint got the slower the service got. Shall I cut to the chase… We payed the bill and gave a 20 percent tip. As we’re waiting for our car service back to the breakers… the waiter came running out with the bill in his hand demanding 3.00 for the glass of ice tea that he forgot to charge us. Zero class. Never again. Very bizarre

Bice has a really charming and romantic outdoor eating area, but the food is bland and not particularly memorable. Additionally, the presentation of the food is arguably below average for fine dining, because everything looked so awkwardly plated. Please see attached photos. My favorite thing at Bice was the prosciutto with melon appetizer, which was very fresh. Good for a romantic date.
We had a large party for Christmas Eve. The mixed reviews on this site should be overlooked. This place was mobbed and the staff was just great. I ordered the veal and it was pounded flat. The best veal I have had in a long time. And the caprese salad with beefsteak tomatoes is terrific. I would send people here

I ate here recently– unfortunately my experience was not very pleasant. My friend and I arrived around 2, there were about 3 other tables of people, the rest of the restaurant was empty, yet it took 15 minutes for somebody to come over and greet us. I ordered a simple dish, and did not like it. When our waiter(finally) came to check on us I told him I was not enjoying my meal, he did not ask if I wanted something else and took it away. I was sure when the bill came I wouldn’t be charged– yet there was a $ 23 charge for about 3 bites of food. The waiter told me since I ate some(maybe 3 noodles and a piece of chopped chicken) I would be charged. I did not feel like arguing so I paid and left. You would think for a restaurant on Worth Ave. the staff would be a little friendlier, no?
