The location is above par: The Breakers. Food was quite good. Service was swift and courteous. Maybe a little too«swift.» Full of families dining so not necessarily a romantic dinner ambiance.

The food was good. I would not say great. We ordered Chicken Marsala, my wife had a Margarita Pizza with an Arugula Salad, and our friend ordered Chicken Parmesan. Everything was good but as good as any Chain Italian Restaurant goes. But in this case double the cost. Thats where it all went wrong. First of all we never knew who our server was. We had different people approach our table. They got the order wrong. And whenever we needed something like refills or silverware, we had to call and wave for someone to come. And worst of it all was the price. Way too expensive! I know its«The Breakers» but the service and the food was not any better than Olive Garden. We were very disappointed. And worst of it all the tip was already charged with a 20% when we got the check without a chance for us to put what we wanted. And they had a space for any additional tip… Wow! They said it was Hotel Policy. There are other restaurants around I Would happily leave a 20% tip or more. But not this one. I wouldn’t go back. Very dissapointed

We tried last night, totally disappointed. The food quality is as similar as regular Italian restaurant(like olive garden restaurant) with price much higher. We tried wild mushroom pizza and pasta. Neither were good. Do not recommend.

Three stars… If I had kids I would give it 5 stars, but I don’t. My boyfriend and I are in Palm Beach for the weekend and when deciding where we should eat tonight, figured we would stay in the property, try the Italian restaurant and have a nice dinner. I should have read the Unilocal reviews before making my reservation because we were expecting to have a nice date night and did not anticipate dining with children running ramped around us. The food was good, our waiter was very accommodating and friendly. Will maybe get food to go, but won’t come back unless we have some little bambinos in tow. Food: we had the burrata, tortalloni, the bolognese, and the pasta dish with the chicken, mushroom, sundries tomatoes in the cream sauce(I couldn’t decide between the two so the waiter brought me a half order of each!) Everything was delicious.

We went to the Italian restaurant for happy hour on a Friday night and were pleasantly surprised. The prices were great, variety was ample and service was comparable to the great service provided throughout the breakers resort.

GREATFORDINNERWITHTHEKIDS! What is awesome about this is that you can take the kids to either the game room, the basketball court, the playground, the craft room or the kiddie play room. A SAFEPLACE for kids of all different ages! You can then enjoy the tasty bread wine and dinner while your kids go wild in another room. Of course they must be well behaved and the younger ones need to be watched ut for the most part you can almost zone out. I recommend the pear gorgonzola salad followed by the snapper piccata. YUMMY! Ask for the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies for desert! Simple yet probably the best desert. I wouldn’t say this is where I want to go sans kiddies but as far as dinner with kids. this is TOPS

I’m only reviewing this for the families with kids out there. Plus it seems like they haven’t gotten any recent reviews. My family has eaten here for many many years. Of course it’s not our first option for Italian dining in Palm Beach but it is convenient if you’re staying at The Breakers and have kids. The restaurant also comes in handy if you spent all day at the beach or pool and totally forgot to make dinner reservations but still want somewhat reasonably priced food that’s edible and convenient. They will even watch your kids in the play area while the adults eat should you so choose. Aside from the major perk of being kid friendly they also have convenient carryout. Order carryout at the bar or call it in and your meal is promptly ready to go without any hassle. The to go orders always include utensils, napkins, bread and cheese so if you’re staying at the hotel you should be all set. As for the food I have to admit I usually get the same thing: either the chicken parm or eggplant parm that comes with a side of pasta(at least it did last time I was there so you may want to ask). Of course it’s expensive but it’s a safe bet and sizable meal. Two people could definitely share. I’ve tried the pizza and it’s just ok. At the very least, it beats the other options if you’re stuck in a rut and don’t want to leave the hotel. Their children’s menu is extensive as far as children’s menus go and reasonably priced in light of the other options. To those who complain about the food they just might be ordering the wrong thing or looking for what they want to eat at the wrong place.

Like the other reviews, I would agree that it’s very kid friendly. The playroom, arcade and video game room are located under the same roof and the kids end up there during dinner which is great for the adults. It’s a safe place so there are no issues. As for the food, I enjoyed my meal as did my wife and kids. I just had a pizza which was fine and had a nice crispy crust. My wife had the snapper picatta which came with some sauteed spinach which was very good. The kids had the shrimp scampi(also very good as I tried it) and the chicken fingers. As for the prices, yes they are high for most menu items but you’re in a resort — what do you expect? You’re there to just eat a decent meal and walk back to your room or go somewhere else in the place. There are many cheaper alternatives if you’re willing to drive to them. Finally, the wait staff was awesome and very attentive as it is in the Breakers as a whole. Ask them if you want a special or customized dish. The table next to us had a chef come by and they described exactly what they wanted for one of their dishes.

The outdoor play ground and inside play area is fun for kids but food is your average Italian. Pretty friendly staff.

This is a very kid friendly spot. I would give this place 2 stars on the food alone, but what is special about it is there is an amazing array of things for kids to do all around the restaurant. Seated at a table close by, I felt very comfortable allowing my 2 and 4 year old to run off with my friends older boys. They would appear to eat then disappear between meals. For the first time in 4 years I was able to relax and have a conversation AFTER the meal. As most know toddlers don’t allow that to happen! Food has no heart. My spicy spaghetti pomodoro was dry! And not spicy at all. Pizza greasy. Husbands pasta was dry as well. Dry!!! I honestly do not think I have EVER used«dry» to describe a pasta dish before.

Way overpriced. 20 $ for a glass of house red wine! Pasta entres were well over 25 $. Appetizers around $ 20 Food was adequate but room was noisy and full of kids. Won’t go back

Advertised as kid friendly yet they left us waiting outside while they finished a ‘managerial meeting’. They opened 25 minutes late? I think you should at least seat people and say their might be a delay. So far I’m very disappointed in the service at an otherwise beautiful property.

A family friendly restaurant, you’ll see lots of kids… I came because the price looked affordable… I had the pizza… it was excellent. One of the few affordable restaurants at the hotel. Staff is very helpful the bartender was super nice, even gave me a free drink while I waited.

Family friendly is no joke, serious. Family friendly. So much so that there is an arcade, indoor playroom, computer room surrounded by aquariums, an outdoor basketball hoop within ear shot and an outdoor play scape just down the path to the entrance. On par with The Breakers, the staff were amazing — from the hostess to the waitress to the manager. We arrived pretty early for a Saturday night, 6pm. We surveyed the wine list for a bottle but were not impressed. We ordered a couple of glasses and dug in to the bread basket. Nice bread basket and spreads including a sun dried tomato pesto and a white bean and garlic spread. Hubby had the Rigatoni sub veggies for pancetta and I had the Tortelloni sub veggies for the sausage sauce. Pretty great. The Tortelloni filled with Mozzarella, Ricotta and Reggiano Cheeses was house made and tasted it. In fact they were quite big and the plate really could have been served ‘family style’ as could the Rigatoni. Way too much food for us, but enjoyed none the less. I went crazy and ordered a dessert drink, I mean a major dessert drink. Frozen Tiramisu with Kahlua, Amaretto and Bailey’s blended with Espresso. Aye, fantastic and the only ‘sweet’ I’ll need for a while. Yeah, get one. Overall, drop by if you are staying at The Breakers, other than that it is not particularly remarkable other than being very child friendly. I frankly thought it was overpriced, which is rare when it comes to house made pastas. $ 27 for my dish and $ 24 for Hubby’s was well over prices in NYC, Chicago, Vegas etc. One can easily find a home made pasta dish for less. However, walking over from your room is quite easy and the front patio is darn comfy.

GOOD food! Although, my fav thing about it here is the décor and the outdoor arrangements! The essence of what an Italian restaurant would be. Food is tasty, service is good, and there is another room(bar room) that is a more private dinning area. Great place for families.(Especially the arcade located in the restaurant and playground outside).
