Considered one of the best Chef’s of his generation Chef Godbout’s cuisine is excellent. The atmosphere, the service makes for an evening to remember. It was a great culinary experience.

We been told that Chef Laurent Godbout is considered one of the top chefs in the business, so we were looking forward to visiting his restaurant in Palm Beach. The restaurant décor being somewhat modern, seem to appear the same as the previous owned restaurant. For our first course we shared among the four of us the avocado tartare, smoked meat egg rolls, and the House made truffle gnocchi, broccoli purée, and buckwheat crisp and grilled garlic oil. They were all fabulous. Then we ordered the Dover Sole, the almond crusted snapper, and the chicken dish. Everything was wonderful except the chicken dish was just okay. We were overall pleased with the restaurant except for the chicken entrée

Everything was great… until it wasn’t. When an over cooked, tough ribeye for 2 was brought to managements attention, the response was disappointing. First, they argued that it was cooked properly. Then, we were told it would take too long to prepare another steak — they’d just send some desert. We’ve all had the unfortunate experience of an improperly prepared steak. How the restaurant handles it determines the true quality of the establishment.

A group of us came to your restaurant for a $ 35.00 prix fixed meal with tax and tip included on October 11, 2015 How lovely, reasonable and enjoyable. The food, ambiance and our time with our friends was great as we celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving. A lovely young lady came around with wine service and said«would you care for some wine?» How nice! When my glass still had ample remaining wine she again asked” Do you care for more?‘ So kind and attentive.!! All was well until we received the bill. With no discussion of the price we were charged an additional $ 17.00 per glass plus tax, plus TIP. At the very least one would expect the young lady to inform us that the so-called glasses were $ 17.00 each. One would assume with a $ 35.00 prix fixe menu the wine price would be more in balance with the food price. One would expect that if the wine were exceptionally high priced, the young lady would mention that fact as she offered to top off our glasses and charge for the price of a full glass. Or perhaps offer us a bottle of our choice to purchase from the wine list that was never presented to us. We feel that your wine practice was deceptive and disturbing.

Just like their restaurant in Montréal, Chez L’Epicier does not disappoint. From the décor to the desserts, a terrific experience. The wait staff were attentive and excellent – and the food was top notch. Foie Gras to French Fries are prepared with care. The grouper with fennel was fresh and delicious. Save room for the toasted marshmallows.

First time dining and from the goat cheese black olive macarons to the grouper and fennel to the salty caramel rice pudding– brilliant. Our server was spot on the entire meal.

This was our second visit to this restaurant and really enjoyed it. The décor is modern and warm. We had the Flavor Palm Beach menu and enjoyed everything we had. Appetizer was a creamed corn with shrimp ceviche. I has penne with mushrooms and the sauce was amazing. My husband had the pulled port poutine and he liked it too. Will definitely be back.
