Quaint, relaxed and great food at this hidden gem. Amazing soup, veal Marsala, panini with the freshest ingredients. Ashley was a great waitress and happy hour specials is a must time to visit each day. Can’t wait to tell others about it that visit the palm coast area and visit soon again

My wife and I tried Bella Gusto tonight for dinner and it was fantastic! The food was delicious and came in huge portions. The staff was very courteous. And the prices were reasonable. I would recommend this place to all of my friends looking to get a great Italian meal with some leftovers for the next day:)

This is a wonderful restaurant with delicious menu items, robust and flavorful sauce/gravy, which I feel is key in understanding good Italian food. The wait staff are dynamic and quite helpful, and the special delectable. It is located on A1A, and can be easily missed on this dark stretch of road. The restrooms are not pretty, and I would encourage you to avoid using them. But, the food is out of this world and the chefs are direct from the C.I.A.

I don’t know if this counts as an actual review but If it does, I would not recommend going there. Even though we read the reviews here on Unilocal first as we typically do, since they were filtered, we figured we needed to check this new place out for ourselves as we don’t totally understand the machinations of filters. But. on to our adventure… turns out it was the wrong night to go there. The restaurant was closed because the toilets in one of the bathrooms were backed up. This was dinner time with a whole staff of people wandering around. We probably should have called first but who knew; besides, the drive to get there is really pretty all along the ocean road. Conclusion: I have to give them two stars because at least they were honest and told us the truth why they were closed for the day/night. And we really felt sorry for the staff who obviously didn’t know about this when they showed up for work. But really, how hard is it to get a plumber? Will not waste the time and gas on going back. I don’t see this place lasting too long.

Our friends told us about this new restaurant as well as the fact that the chef was excellent and formerly was the chef at The Hammock resort. I ordered the mussels with red sauce as an appetizer. They were very small and very salty. I was unable to eat them. My entrée was sundried tomato risotto with diver scallops. The scallops were cooked perfectly but the risotto was extremely salty. My husband ordered the veal parmesean which was nicely prepared but over salted. For an experienced chef we were very disappointed. As a pizzeria style restaurant with zero atmosphere, plastic chairs and less than acceptable food the prices were higher than one would expect considering the location and lack of ambience. An average dinner for two including a beer or wine(no liquor/cocktails) appetizer, entrée and dessert plus tax and tip could be $ 100. Hoping the chef has a lighter with the salt I might try again.
