Food was great. Service was just okay. The waitress with super short gray hair was just not very attentive. We spent over $ 150 on lunch and the service was meh. My husbands beer bottle was picked up and taken away before empty. Dessert wasn’t offers until we asked. We all kind of felt like we were annoying her. Every time we asked for something she kept telling us the price as if that might be an issue… Not so informative as offensive. We loved the food and will probably be back… But hope not to get the same server. We tipped over 20% to maybe show her that she should not stereo type… Definitely not due to service. Father’s Day was still enjoyed with great company and great food.

A great location, located on El Paseo. Walking distance to lots of shopping and other stores. The customer service we experienced was good, we were taken care of. The food was very average. I ordered the chopped wedge salad, there was hardly any dressing on it, very dry and have had better… My friend and I both tried the burger, both were overcooked, dry and hardly any seasoning, even though we ordered them medium. Maybe we came on a day when the kitchen wasn’t on top of their game… Can tell mostly older ones frequent this place… they seem to cater more towards the middle age to elderly crowd.

The chicken pot pie here is amazing, but the New York steak was very under seasoned. The herb brown rice was completely lacking salt. The waitress we had was also very socially awkward and hardly ever checked on us to see how we were doing. I added a star because the chicken pot pie was so good.

A huge favorite, among the Walker Mafia(over 80-something) crowd. Expect to see lots of illegally-parked cars, unloading these old-timing folks all over El Paseo… slow it dowwwn! Quite honestly — its nothing but pricey, Coco’s style food… all served by better dressed staff, and with a Full Bar. Let the Seniors HAVE this place!

The Daily Grill is my favorite breakfast spot on El Paseo. They have good food, good service, and good drinks. It is in an optimal location if you are planning on shopping before or after.

In the middle of El Paseo, at Daily Grill you’ll find good food and nice cocktails too, a quiet atmosphere and an attentive service. It looks pretty popular between the Palm Desert senior clientele. Outside seating recommend for a more lively experience.

Daily Grill was very accommodating. I hosted a work luncheon for my boss’ birthday Thursday, May 12, 2016. Everyone from the hostess to our waiter were just top notch! Per the recommendation of my boss and the waiter, I had the chicken pot pie and OHMYGOD was it AMAZING! I almost licked the bowl. To top it all off, they gave her a complimentary brownie and ice cream dessert to finish her meal. I am definitely going back and I highly recommend. :-)

What keeps me coming back here is the wonderful Cole slaw with peanuts. A very unique twist on a basic menu item. The rest of the items on the menu are great too, especially the chicken pot pie. Not your typical pot pie but a huge pot pie filled with luscious vegetables and lots of big chunks of chicken. And save room for the wonderful desserts.

I really like the Daily Grill. Over the past six or seven years, I’ve been here at least three times with a party of four or more. Our meals have been really, really good. They have a full bar and pour a good drink at a fair price The menu changes from time to time, but I’ve had seafood, steak and chicken dishes here and loved all the meals. The last meal I had here was, I believe, a special… it was a full chicken breast(both sides of the breast bone) with a wing drummette attached on both sides. It was pan seared with a crusty rub and was just outstanding.(See my pic). Service is professional and efficient. Parking is easy in a large lot behind the restaurant.

Had great service & great drinks. Known for their Chicken Pot Pie which did not disappoint. Their lemonade is fresh squeezed & amazing. Even better when you add a shot of vodka!

So I just ordered food through and chose the daily grill. I’ve eaten her before and it’s always been good but this time was terrible. Wedge salad was a small slice of ice burg chunk that was mostly white with almost no green. It was turning a brown color. Got a dinner pot pie and they brought the small one. When LA bite called the manager, he informed them that they gave me the large pot pie. I have picture to prove they gave me the wrong one. Didn’t get the wings I ordered and my chicken meatballs with angel hair was so unbelievably greasy. I can’t believe they let the food leave the restaurant like that. What a shame.

Just love the vast menu and the food is always excellent. Especially enjoy the pot pies and when they have the lobster, it’s sublime. Bartender is great and pours generously. It tends to be crowded and noisy and the hostesses are not particularly friendly which is slightly off putting. But overall, as locals, we go off season when it’s less busy.

We eat here once a year on our vacation. It was always excellent. Last night the food was very under satisfying. My wife ordered the sand dab special. The fish and broccoli were undercooked. My wife sent the plate back for the first time in her life. I ordered the chicken pot pie which had been wonderful in the past. It had little flavor and seemed to lack all the spices and onions that it needed. I don’t know if the cook has changed, or if it was a really bad night in the kitchen. Don’t know if I’ll ever go back

Great food, even better service. We were in town from NorCal and had the pleasure to eat here. The skirt steak recommended by our waiter was to die for. Would definitely recommend. Our server was absolutely fantastic. Always there when we needed him, never a bother, and seemed to know when we needed anything.

Our first visit to the Daily Grill was okay. The place was packed, but they were able to seat us on the patio pretty quickly. The staff all seems to have pretty good attitudes, and we felt welcomed. We tried some appetizers including the hummus which was very good. The main reason we came was to try their pot pies, and we were excited when they were placed before us on the table. We each breached the crust on our pie, sampled the dish, and then we looked at each other. We were both completely underwhelmed, but it was food so of course we ate it. To be honest, I have had better pot pies from the frozen section of the supermarket, and they didn’t cost $ 15 each or whatever they charged us at the DG. I would go back so I can try some other menu items, but my expectations are not too high at this point.

A nice spot for a good meal. We had a reservation for 3 on a Friday night in late November — and glad we did! The grill was busy! We were quickly seated and taken care of by our waitress. The menu offers a good variety and there is also a nice selection on the kids menu. They are pretty easy with the add-on’s and substitutions, which is great — you get exactly the meal you want. I had the NY steak, it was cooked perfectly. Good spot for a family meal! Lots of parking in the back!

I was looking for a new place to have lunch and this place was a really good surprise. They have a lot of setting, great prices, great food, a lo of different options, including healthy plates. Staff is nice and kids meals are great as well. Their sweets are really good as well. I’m so glad I found this place and I will definitely be back.

I have mixed feelings about the Daily Grill. The façade and concept are great, but the execution was just ok. From the outside this places looks like a first class joint but when you enter, it seems more just run of the mill(personally I think it needs a renovation). The menu is large and lots of choices for everyone and I chose the California turkey melt. The sandwich was good, but nothing to write home about. Overpriced I think for the most part. My brother in law had the half caesar and pot pie. I wanted to order the pot pie, but after tasting it, I wasn’t too impressed. Overall, Daily Grill is a great concept; personally, looks(the façade) are much better than the menu.
