I really loved walking through this gallery. The young man that was working made the visit even more pleasurable. I especially enjoyed the human reproductions. They were so lifelike! Check out the ladies room!

Beautiful art gallery. The best on El Paseo if not in the desert. Staff is top notch, very professional. Pieces from local artists as well as thoughtful works from many corners of the earth. My husband and I particularly loved the feel of the gallery. Our favorite on art walk, they deal some serious art.

Melissa Morgan Fine Art is an enormous gallery space at a very prominent location in Palm Desert, and makes an excellent representation of the high-end row, El Paseo Drive. Specializing in Contemporary Art, Melissa Morgan’s has a wide range of available works on the walls, in storage, and available to source. They are very accommodating to their guests, whatever their needs may be. They lease work all over the desert, from the paintings in Trio on Palm Canyon, to large sculptures throughout the Coachella Valley, the artists Melissa represents are credible and qualified in the fine art world. If you enjoy fine art, Melissa Morgan’s is definitely worth browsing through, as walking in their spacious grounds is like visiting a qualified museum. In fact, Melissa Morgan’s works closely with the Palm Springs Art Museum, and is on par with the work featured there. If you are a buyer, the team at Melissa’s will work diligently to find the piece that suits you best. Art Walk happens once a month– go in for some wine, and be sure to come back for their artist receptions. Its a happening spot! and they tend to participate in El Paseo’s Fashion Week, so be on the look out for representations from the gallery.

We happened in just before their opening night reception for a new artist. The gallery staff was terrific and so helpful.(not cloying with answers to questions they THINK you are asking… but just the right amount of charm and information) One of the things I love about modern art of this kind(this was Nov 2012 shows may be different now) is that it’s so thought provoking. Conversation pieces are always fun. These are definitely fun(no edgy gritty bits here).

Do you like art galleries? Large uncluttered super well-lit spaces adorned with just the right amount of outstanding pieces of that perfect balance between known and new artists… perhaps even perfectly engaging folks on the floor that do not take themselves too seriously nor need you to look the part for them to be not only sincerely friendly however even generous with their knowledge… this is that Gallery. This gallery is how all galleries should be. Kudos.

I just attended my first art opening at Melissa Morgen Gallery. The event went off flawlessly, and was a pleasure to attend. The organizers and gallery staff were professional and handled the massive number of attendees with grace and poise. I love this gallery! It stands up to any great gallery in quality, taste, and diversity while maintaining a welcoming neighborhood vibe. The work on display no matter who the artist, provides much inspiration for the modern art lover. It’s very much the gallery that you envision in Soho. RONDLE

Best contemporary art gallery in the Valley. Vibrant, provocative, tasteful, eye opening works… always wonderful discoveries there! Sculpture, tapestries, assemblage, paintings, it’s all there! I love the staff and their gallery openings are not too missed. The guests are as colorful as the art!

I thought I would struggle to find this place, but then I remembered the name. This was quite possibly one of the most unique galleries I had been to in a long time. They were actually in the process of putting up several new displays so we were amidst some rubble and that made things a little more fun. They had many great photography exhibits and interesting unique art exhibits as well as things I like and find fun such as cartoon and animal shapes. The staff were extremely friendly and showed us everything even though she may or may not have thought we were going to purchase something. We definitely had something in mind, but not a real house to put it in … it’s going to have to sit in the gallery or hopefully not someone else’s house! It’s an interesting browse at the very least but I also loved the explanations and the supplemental reading materials going with the art which makes it that much more interesting when you can find out about the artist and what inspired him or her to do a piece.
