It is like a quick trip to Paris, this quaint French Café’ is quite the gem. We came here for Lunch with other today. It was fairly easy no time reservations for the time we walk in. The place is packed but it was fairly busy. Our waitresses were attentive. We ordered a quiches, seafood crêpe and filet of sole are fantastic, Great food. Reasonable prices. Still thinking about how tasty the food was the day after eating lunch there. Every dish was delicious. Lovely décor, will be back again soon.

The food is awesome, the environment is quaint, and the service is the best! Even when they’re busy, they’ll treat you like you’re the only table in the room. I’ve had their ratatouille, burgers, specials, and then some! Don’t forget to stop and look at all of their beautiful desserts!

They have some wonderful desserts and crepes here! We had the seafood crêpe and the burger with brie and bacon. Both were very good. Everything here is really good except the service here is a little slow.

Very cute and unassuming French bistro sitting on the edge of a ‘mall’. Very friendly staff, and nice, clean décor. Our server was a well groomed, French speaking, young man. Attentive and personable. Made me feel like I needed to brush up on my French again(it’s been a while). We sat outside on the little patio with a couple other patrons. It was a really nice day to be outside. We had the croque madame and the chicken cordon bleu. Both were tasty. It may be a bit pricey for a casual lunch here, but once in a while it’s worth the price to have a nice lunch with good service from friendly staff.

We had breakfast here and every dish was delicious. Tried the eggs Benedict on crepes, yogurt filled crêpe. The pastries are also fantastic.

Love this little café! Came here with my sister to eat some French pastries and they did not disappoint! They were actually closing as we walked in and still took us and let us fine in. Very sweet staff and the service was lovely! Planning on coming back here.

Happened to find this little spot after a trip to Chuck E Cheeses. I expected it to be much less but upon entering I was able to tel that was not the case! It’s décor is France inspired(obviously) and quiet lovely. There is a good selection of pastries to choose from, many were sold out when we got there but we could see where there was plenty. We ordered French macarons, a White Lady, and a mini tart. All so delicious! We loved it here. The staff is so friendly, too! We asked if they do latte art and they do so we will definitely be coming back to try that!

Place was busy at 9:30−10. No greeting. Picked our own table. Was asked if we wanted coffee. Yes. delicious coffee. We also had to ask 3 times for water before we got any. Waitress took our order. Quiche was good, with fruit. Poached eggs done medium, potatoes not hot enough and«different».can’t explain how. had an almond croissant which looked and tasted good but was not flaky and moist but dry and crusty? Put under toaster?.. Service was OK but noticed wait staff talking with a certain patron while ignoring other guests. we had asked for more coffee, they forgot, came back after their conversation with other patron and asked us if we wanted anything more?.. We didn’t say anything about their neglect and forgetfulness. Would I come back? Maybe.

I ordered take out for the following items: 2 French Onion Soup Steak Pommes Frites Seafood Crêpe Croque Madame +Fried Egg On top(extra $.75 for sweet potato fries) All of the items tasted great, but the crêpe was my favorite dish of the night. The steak was a little overcooked, so next time I would have ordered medium rare for a medium steak. For two people, this was plenty of food. The biggest problem I had for this take out was that the cashier forgot to give us utensils to eat. Me and my brother didn’t eat breakfast or lunch, so we acted like barbarians for a little bit until we scrummage around to find forks, spoons, and knives.

We were recommended to this lovely little restaurant by friends who lunch here regularly. They weren’t wrong, as I write this I’m slowly slipping into a heavenly food coma… my husband had the filet with Roquefort and I had Coquille Saint-Jacques and it had leeks! No substitutions here! The atmosphere is pleasant and others around us were also commenting on their food. GETDESSERT! I don’t care if it means you’ll pop, it is divine, it doesn’t matter which, they are all works of art. Oh yes they serve good coffee in a cup WITH a saucer! I’ve died and gone to a cultured heaven.

Food… to die for. Onion soup? Insane. Crepes? OMG! Super friendly service and real French accents. This place is a gem, and in the mornings(especially on weekends) you’ll see its no secret by the crowds. Now here is the real treat you just HAVE to try. The macaroons are the REALDEAL. Trust me when I say, if you think you’ve had an authentic macaroon(and have not been to France, or tried one from here), you are in for a surprise. Mind blowing! Quiches are incredible. We get them to go and eat them next day for breakfast. I thought long and hard before writing a review for French Corner Café. I honestly was afraid it might get too crowded if new people discovered it. Enjoy!

My boyfriend and I came back this weekend because, of course, I was dying for their macaroons. We walked in around 2 in the afternoon and found the place to be busy. Normally we come around 3:30 to 4 when it’s usually down time for them. Their service was outstanding. Because we were just there for dessert, I had time to take in all the ambiance with the restaurant full of people. The wait staff was happy, there wasn’t any busy bodies rushing all over the place. The atmosphere was great and incredibly relaxing. The customers seemed to be happy and enjoying their food. My strawberry macaroon was delicious. I also decided to live life on the wild side and tried a berry tart as well. It was fresh berries with a custard or cream in the middle. A great choice that left me happy!

Ordered the Steak Pomme Frites, was basically a strip steak and french fries. Friends have the fillet of sole and eggs benedict with two orders of french onion soup. Steak was cooked medium rare and did not have a nice crust. I thought it was very bland and flavorless. Friends were raving about the fillet of sole. Didn’t hear anything about the eggs benedict so besides«I should have ordered the chicken and mushroom», I forget what the last part was, haha. They also enjoyed the french onion soup and the fruit bowl. Waitress was super nice and the place was clean, but I did not enjoy the food. I wish I had tried some of their pastries and desserts.

Funny how I have to go the middle of the desert to discover the wonders of French cuisine. Does Orange County not have a place like this? Or maybe I have not looked hard enough. French Corner Café is an absolute delight. As soon as you walk in the door you are transported to a quaint French café. You suddenly forget that the weather outside is 100 plus degrees. You are greeted by actual French people. And they are super nice! The food is simple. We started off the baguettes and pâté. The pâté tasted fresh and the baguette was marvelous. I ordered the duck sandwich. There was duck, goat cheese and a cranberry sauce that was delicious. The wife got the chicken cordon bleu which had such a creamy sauce spread over it. I wish there more places like this closer to me.

This review is for breakfast, which my friend and I enjoyed two days in a row. This is a charming restaurant. It sits in the middle of a shopping center, surrounded by the likes of Target and Best Buy, but don’t be fooled by the location: this isn’t some random strip-mall greasy spoon. The food is authentically French, and the pastries were a standout. The crepes were also highlighted on the menu, but I thought they were aweful, don’t even bother. The croissant egg sandwich was especially good, and huge. Service was prompt and courteous, there is plent of parking, and the ambiance(especially earlier in the day) is quiet and low-key– perfect for a breakfast work meeting. My only significant complain is the coffee, which was vastly inferior to coffee I’ve had in France. The coffee at French Corener was more like Denny’s coffee. This was kind of sad, as it really spoiled the French atmosphere, and memories of sitting at a sidewalk café in France enjoying my morning coffee and croissant.

This is such a cute little café. The menu is a little bit pricey. But the food is good. I had a sandwich with sole and it had a great flavor. I don’t really go here for the food though, I pretty much only go here for the pastries. They have a large selection of macaroons which I love and they are just divine. You can’t go wrong with any of their pastries, I usually end up getting two boxes of almost one of everything. The presentation of the sweets definitely feed the eyes and once you eat them. It can cure any sugar fix in an instant. All of the sweets are so delicious! And are worth the price.

We sat down for breakfast a few mornings ago and it was quite pleasant. It wasnt too busy which was great! I ordered the turkey croissant sammich and it was tasty! My bf ordered eggs, potatoes, and bacon– he loved it! My favorite part was the dessert! I ordered a few macaroons and it tasted very authentic! I even took some to-go for a snack later :) If you need a good dessert spot, this is a good selection!

This is the cutest little café I’ve ever seen!!! I was craving something sweet after lunch, and found this place on Unilocal(thank you, fellow Unilocalers!) so decided to try it out and see what the buzz was all about. When I walked into the café, it was like I immediately was teleported to France — the building, the decorations, and the lady helping us(not sure if she was the owner or not, but she had a delightful French accent that made me want to learn French), everything was just perfect!!! Now for the desserts themselves… Can you say Oh Em Gee?! I went with my mom so we each got something different so we could indulge(mom got the«Trouble» which was hazelnut yumminess, and I got the«Boreal»). I also got a cup of coffee to go along with my Boreal, ’cause after all, why have dessert without coffee? Wow… The desserts were superb!!! Probably the best desserts I’ve ever had in my life — and I’ve had my fair share of desserts. The Boreal had mini macaroons on the sides, and had a heavenly chocolate glaze, with light and fluffy yumminess inside. The Trouble was chocolate and hazelnut goodness, as if you were eating a hazelnut dipped in the best chocolate of the world!!! Conclusion: The decadent desserts are definitely worth it! Don’t even look at the calories! I will take a road trip to go to this café again… THAT’S how amazing they are!
